Pembrokeshire kusten vägen och den lokala puben serverar mat finns inom några minuters promenad från stugan Den skyddade, söderläge trädgård har ett bord och stolar. Digital "Freesat" TV är installerat, även DVD / video och stereo radio / CD-spelare. Alla sängkläder, handdukar, mattor bad och tvätt upp material tillhandahålls. Vardagsrum och sovrum har heltäckningsmattor. Inom en kort bilresa är de vilda Preseli Hills, härlig Gwaun Valley & de historiska städerna St. Davids, den "minsta staden" med sin underbara katedralen, Fishguard, & Newport med många bra affärer och restauranger. Titta hoppa delfiner och tumlare från Strumble Head, surfa eller fisk på Newgale s milslånga stranden, ta en båttur runt sjöfågel öarna, en dag färja till Irland, besöka en fungerande ull kvarn eller sheepdog display. Kom på våren för det vilda blommans överflöd, eller tidigt hösten för att se sälpinnarna i de steniga vikarna, eller hitta ett lugnt hörn om du bara vill koppla av och varva ner.

Excellent place for a holiday.

Really good place on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Great value for money and will happily go again.

Easter Weekend Break

The cottage was clean and as described being warm & cosy. The location of the cottage in Trefin is great for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast. We enjoyed some really lovely coastal walks with our dog and everywhere we went was both human & dog friendly. This was short break, so we have more to see and do there. We would book again.

A lovely old style cottage in lovely villageIts like going back in time ..and nothing wrong with that !!Everything as listedMy sciatica ruined this trip for me..because the coastline is stunning ...and the light for artists and photographers at this time of year is just magical..as is St Davids and the ley lines around it ?!!...

Very nice place we stayed in and wondeful location as well clean and tidy and owner was friendly and answered questions quickly which was good.The only thing i will say is the charge on the electricity bill we thought was excessive maybe half the amount would of been ok .

Birthday Break!!

We stayed at cottage for 3 nights & had a relaxing break.... Cottage was clean & tidy just like stopping at my grans many years ago!! A great area to explore & weather was good for the time of the year..... Adrian is a super host & made sure all was okay at cottage ~ just make sure you bring some cash to pay for electricity that you use during your stay 🤑

Quaint cottage in quiet village

We had a lovely week staying in this cottage in Trefin. Clean and spacious accommodation at a very reasonable price.

Ok but not ideally for children

I had arrived following address been given Google maps took me to correct address I believe, but wrong house as all these houses have names not numbers will never be sure , got in to property fine had read ov house rules they allow dogs but not up stairs to stop dogs getting up stairs u have to put a baby gate in but baby gate don't fit an don't swing open so have to climb over to access stairs which I felt was very dangerous with small children also so not family suitable , dogs also so not allowed to go in back garden as there not allowed to use it as a toilet which is fine so we didn't use the garden any way at this point felt you just shouldn't allow dogs be easier an I would ov stayed somewhere else. Internet was slow don't reach up stairs so was hard to plan days out with no Internet Used site once before an we got a welcome pack like milk bread eggs tea coffee to start us off we didn't get anything an after 7hrs drive I wasn't in the best ov moods to drive any time soon but went shopping. Next rule is after your stay you fill in the electrical meter for your stay an pay the electricity bill that u have used I feel like this should be all ready included an it wasn't in description an I was annoyed about learning ov this cost ov stay should ov covered with cost ov stay The area is quiet an there is a lovely pub down road lots ov nice costal walks an bigger places to go with in 20min but mainly it's a walking holiday, lot ov beaches near by or rock beaches

Good price Quality

Old house with little garden on a little remote location (1 pub/restaurant and 1 gallery/store, no supermarket and walking distance). Cleaned very well but ceiling and some walls can use better cleaning/new paint. Some cupboards aren't used in a long time and smell when opening them.aand smell when opening.

A great find

What a great find for a short break. Everything was as expected and the owner Adrian was friendly and helpful but left us to get on with our holiday. Will definitely come back though hopefully when the weather is better!

Sweet cottage - well-priced & perfectly located

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage - whilst it is a little dated, you get what you pay for. It is comfortable, has everything you need for self-catering, and a lovely little private garden too. Would recommend Adrian adds some details to his listing, such as the requirement for dogs to remain downstairs. This was not an issue for us, but would have been great to know this in advance. Otherwise Adrian is an excellent host, and was very helpful. Would recommend!

Lovely quiet village

Basic cottage but comfortable. Was surprised to find on arrival that electricity used was to be paid at the end of the week. Had to keep the heating on as the cottage is damp. Signs of damp that had been painted over. Once mentioned to the owner he refunded the electric cost.

A relaxing week away

We stayed in the cottage with our dog for a week in September. Adrian, (who lives next door), greeted us on our arrival but respected our privacy during our stay, adding that we can knock if we needed anything. It is an ideal location for reaching the A487, where you can easily access many of the local beauty spots in either direction. Trefin is a lovely little village with a nice pub serving good meals. Thursday night open mic night is well worth visiting, many talented musicians and singers. The cottage has everything you'll need for a comfortable week, lots of information leaflets in the drawers but Adrian can also advise if stuck. Lovely garden to sit in if the weather's nice. Reading the electric meter, working out what you've used and what you owe is well recorded and easy to do, just leave the money on the table. We used less than £10 for the whole week, as we were out most days and ate our evening meal out a fair bit. We only needed the electric fire on a couple of evenings but there are also plenty of electric radiators in each room, if needed. Someone had written in the visitor's book that, 'the cottage and village grow on you' and we certainly found this to be the case. We hope to return again, despite the long drive for us. Trefin cottage

Host, Adrian made check in easy and our stay enjoyable. Comfortable cottage, photos show it as is. Close to cafe and good pub. Coastal path easily accessible from just outside village. St Davids an easy six mile drive. Only downside is no shop in village, nearest is Spar at petrol station in Square & Compass, c. 1.5 miles away.

Great place to stay

We came here for a week in August and despite the weather being a bit disappointing we had a great time-Trefin is well located for St David’s, White Sands Bay but also not too far for day trips to Tenby and other tourist spots. The house had all the basics we needed (reminded me of my grandparents house), was great value for money and we would recommend to anyone wanting a break in Pembrokeshire.

Rustig en aangenaam verblijf

Wij hadden een fijne week in een prachtige omgeving. Het huis was schoon en gerieflijk, maar wel enigszins gedateerd. De gastheer, Adrian is een prettig persoon met humor en was zeer behulpzaam.

very enjoyable.cottage was very comfy and the owner was lovely. we spent time in as it was very hot but the outdoor garden area was great and we didnt have to worry about the dog as she couldnt escape from the garden all very safe and secure.would definitely recommend it. ideal for a relaxing break.

Lovely break.

We stayed in Adrian's cottage for a week. Adrian was friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed and checking in and using facilities was all straight forward. Trefin is an absolutely lovely village with direct access to the coast path and fantastic views and walks. Thank you for a great holiday.
