Det ägs av en Guernsey-familj vars medlemmar bodde på gården genom ockupationsåren. Perfekt för familjer, naturälskare, historiska bufféer och strandälskare.

Andas in den friska havsluften och slappna av i ditt hjärta i denna eleganta, rustika / moderna granitstuga. Tidigare presenterad i tidningen Country Homes & Interiors, har den exponerade inre stenväggar, tunga-och-spårskivor, fartygs mastbalkar, nödställda trägolv, ett Shaker-kök och en öppen spis. Tre sovrum (ett med eget badrum med duschrum), familjebadrum och garderob. Liten, solig, helt sluten bakgård med trädäck, picknickbord för sex och bistrobord för två.

Nära till klippvägarna och naturreservatet Pleinmont, Fort Grey Shipwreck Museum och andra världskrigets ockupationshistoriska platser. Restaurang / pub på gångavstånd. I närheten finns en Pony Club / ABRS ackrediterad ridcenter som erbjuder strandturer, hacks och ridlektioner.

Glorious Guernsey cottage

Best cottage ever

Beautiful cottage, spacious rooms, comfy beds, modern bathrooms, cosy back garden. Very nice and always helpful landlady, close to the beach, nature resort around the corner… cannot think of anything to improve!

Lovely holiday

We loved the location and house, even though we found the WiFi very slow at times. But we were on holiday so it made us slow down too! Siriol was a wonderful host. Guernsey is beautiful and we loved visiting Sark and Herm too. Great food in the restaurants too. We had a lovely holiday,.

This property immediately felt like a home away from home. It feels more spacious than the images depict, and is just as charming and tasteful. The wonderful sea air did us all the power of good. You have the perfect beach on your doorstep. Siriol is a wonderful host. Absolutely first class.

Perfect holiday in Guernsey

We all had the most wonderful holiday in Foxfire Cottage. The cottage is very comfortable and is in a great location with a beautiful sandy bay (perfect for a dip!) and lovely headland walks close by. Siriol was very communicative, helpful, warm and welcoming. Thank you, Siriol. We enjoyed our time in Guernsey very much and do hope to return.

Beautiful cottage in perfect location

Loved staying here. Would highly recommend. Very pretty, cosy and comfy cottage with all the bits and bobs you need. 1-2 mins walk from the beach and hotel with restaurant nearby too. Definitely returning.

Perfect Pleinmont!

We stayed at Foxfire Cottage for a week in September and we had a fabulous time. The cottage is a lovely historical building located literally minutes from the beach, a bus stop and a pub and restaurant. It really was the perfect base to explore Guernsey. All the rooms were comfortable, clean and cosy. We especially loved the stable doors at the front and back of the cottage! The Wifi at the cottage was a little patchy, probably due to the very solid stone walls! There was also some noise from the airport (possibly hard to avoid on an island). Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Es ist ein wunderschönes Haus in dem man sich richtig wohlfühlen kann - wir habe die Woche sehr genossen. Durch Siriol fühlt man sich den ganzen Urlaub über herzlich willkommen und kann immer um Hilfe oder Tips fragen.

Wonderful stay in Guernsey

First of all, Siriol is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make her guests comfortable. She left us a loaf of bread with milk and butter upon our arrival and throughout our week was always available for whatever we needed, dropping off more dishwasher soap and even finding a DVD player for us when we asked if she had one. She is so warm and welcoming, and I loved hearing about her family’s amazing history in Guernsey ! The home is beautiful and in a great location. We loved the cottage feel of it and enjoyed our time there very much. Thanks Siriol for such a great week!

Marvellous property in a great location

The cottage is quaint and well-appointed, Siriol made us feel very welcome on arrival (and helped us pre-arrival to make sure we had provisions etc.) and shared some of the history of the property and her family. The cottage was equipped with brochures about the sights around the island, and even a parking disc. The location is really great, a stones throw from some great beaches and with facilities at hand (a hotel with bars and restaurant plus a beach side kiosk with hot snacks, drinks and ice cream). There were plenty of places to walk to from the cottage and driving further afield was easy and rewarded great views and interesting sights. We've arrived home thoroughly relaxed and refreshed.

Liebevoll gestaltetes Cottage mit historischem Flair

Nach einer warmherzigen Begrüßung durch die Hausherrin Siriol haben wir uns direkt heimisch gefühlt. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit dem Notwendigsten für den ersten Abend ausgestattet! Prosecco zum Start in den Urlaub... stilvoll! Die Insel ist sehr gut ohne Auto zu bereisen. Wandern stand bei uns ganz oben auf der Liste! Der Cliff Path ist eine Wucht!! Die häufigen Busverbindungen mit einer Haltestelle in der Nähe des Cottages lassen die Lage des Hauses als ideal erscheinen. Die Meeresnähe macht die Lage absolut perfekt! Siriol ist bei allen Dingen sehr hilfsbereit. Am Abreisetag haben wir noch einen Arzt benötigt. Siriol hat alles arrangiert! Herzlichen Dank für die sehr schönen Tage auf Guernsey und in diesem Cottage! Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

lovely cottage, near the beach.

We had a good very good stay at this cottage. There’s a little garden at the back and a bench at the front, when you look sideways you can see the ocean. You can start beautiful walks along the ocean right at the doorstep.

Sehr gemütliches, modernisiertes Cottage

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, toll ist die Nähe zum Strand, ein Haus mit ganz viel Charm. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kleine Einschränkung: die Flugzeuge fliegen über das Haus und der Nachbar ist manchmal ziemlich laut.

Gemütlich und naturnah

Wir wurden von unserer Gastgeberin so freundlich und liebevoll empfangen, dass wir sie und ihr cottage gleich ins Herz geschlossen haben. Nur 200m Weg zum Strand. Direkt vom Cottage weg kann man die Westspitze Guernseys umrunden und dann den südlichen cliff path weiter wandern. Ein bus stop ebenfalls ganz in der Nähe hilft, die Insel ohne Auto-Stress zu erkunden.

Top !

On a adoré notre séjour à Guernesey dans le cottage de Siriol. Le cottage est idéalement placé (100m de la plage et d un pub), cosy. Le petit jardin intérieur est très agréable, nous avons pu y prendre la plupart de nos repas. Siriol est très disponible et adorable Un havre de paix !

Everything we could have wanted from a beach cottage. Beautiful, comfortable in a perfect setting.

The owner made our holiday with the warmest welcome and hospitality, very soon her delightful cottage felt like home away from home. We were pleasantly surprised by how big and airy the cottage is, with all the home comforts and mod cons a family needs to fully enjoy a holiday. Styled so beautifully, we were soon immersed in Guernsey hospitality. A perfect retreat to explore from with walks, cycling and horse riding. Our best days were picnics and swimming at the nearby sandy sheltered beach, topped-up with treats from the kiosk. Just perfect!
