We were really happy with Seawater cottage. It's arranged on 3 floors with a large kitchen/dining area in the basement, opening onto a courtyard, a spacious knocked through sitting room on the ground floor, small but nice bathroom on the half landing and three bedrooms on the top floor. It felt spacious, and is very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well equipped, with a few store cupboard ingredients such as olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We spent most of our time in the kitchen, playing games around the large table.
It definitely has a wow factor, and was surprisingly roomy for what would have been a two up two down.
Could have done with more shelving in the bathroom as we were 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but the shower was powerful.
Only downside was the damn seagulls at 4:30 every morning, but that's part of the St Ives experience. The location is quiet, yet close to everything.
Not having done self catering before, we weren't sure what to expect, but it was at the upper hand no of our expectations. Would recommend.
