Gillade: Incheckning, kommunikation och plats

Fabulous location

This property could be totally stunning but is a little tired & could do with redecoration in parts. There is mould where there shouldn’t be , ie in the showers, on window frames, on blind in lower floor bathroom. The property was quite musty & stale smelling when we arrived, but we may have been the first people in there for a few weeks so we just threw the windows open. Bedding was all clean & fresh. Kitchen needs a deep clean & a bit of TLC re utensils & cooking trays. Kitchen chairs could do with replacing as they are looking a bit tired. Kitchen floor needs a sand & revarnish. Shower head in first floor shower needs a look at so that you don’t need to hold it when showering. Water pressure was excellent. New carpets or hard flooring in sitting room area would be a real improvement. I’m sure when this house was done up probably not many years ago it was truly stunning, but it really needs to be revisited. The windows need a clean as they were very grubby to see the amazing view. The courtyard garden was lovely. This house absolutely grew on me as our week passed by. I could live here if l did the above work on it. Would l stay here again? Yes, even with the few problems above, but it would be even lovelier if the above problems were rectified.

Just perfect

We are at the end of our long weekend to celebrate my husbands 65th birthday. We can not fault this house in any way, perfectly located and so spacious. We will definitely be returning .

Great location, property not as clean as it could have been.

Two of the bedrooms in the basement with some mould. Lounge carpet and soft furnishings not clean. Dining chairs needed replacing as dirty. Garden overgrown.

Perfect location - the car stayed put for the whole weekend

The property is set in a perfect location with a cute garden to out. We could walk everywhere. On the whole everything was perfect. However, we did feel the property could do with a little bit of check through (not major and not a criticism) very short on sharp knives, mattress protectors very worn and no pillow protectors. We did mention to the cleaners that the top floor, front room wardrobe needed to be re attached to the wall - it toppled over when opened - fortunately not a child. I leapt like a salmon to catch it!! We had a fantastic weekend and would happily rent Bridge View again

Superb location and accommodation.

House was beautifully furnished and very cosy, yet large enough for 8 adults. Situated right in the harbour, close to all amenities. Marielle, the owner, was exceptionally helpful prior to our visit, answered all our queries promptly and arranged additional parking for us. We had a wonderful family reunion and would love to return.

Beautiful house, stunning outlook

The house is beautifully decorated, and so cosy. We didn't actually go out that much because we all liked the house and decided to stay in! Views from the house are stunning and with the centre so close the location is brilliant. We would all stay here again and I can't recommend it enough.

absolutely fab house, great location! helpful owners who contacted us during our stay. had big family birthday so lots of room etc/facilities. highly recommended! liked it so much weve just bought an apartment on brewers quay!

Lovely big house in Central location

5 Adults and 2 toddlers stayed here for a week. Lovely big house plenty of space for all of us. Very central location right on the nice side of the harbour. Great views of the harbour and people watching out the window! Easy work to everywhere in Weymouth. Will definitely be staying here again.

FAB!!!!

We visited Bridge View with my family for new year & it was amazing. The house is so beautiful, finished to such a high standard & so comfortable. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The bedrooms are so big & in our double bedroom we had plenty of room for my sons ready bed & a travel cot for my daughter. The view is beautiful & can imagine on a sunny day it looks stunning (I'm afraid we didn't get many of those). It's so nice to sit on the sofa near the window & just people watch. My 3yr old found it highly entertaining watching all the people in fancy dress on new year- he loved it!! The location is just perfect, 10 min walk to the beach (if that) & lots of shops just over the bridge if anything is needed urgently. There is also a massive Asda just down the road too. Great if you want to go out & have a drink as everything is in walking distance- the pub just down the road (2mins ago) is very warm, friendly & good food too!! I could not recommend this house anymore for that big family break away, the kitchen is great for the big family meals, all appliances etc you would ever need. If you choose this house you will have a lovely relaxing break away in a prime location. Owners are v friendly too & if there are any problems they are on hand whenever you need them.

Perfect Luxury Renovation

We stayed here for the New Year break for 3 nights. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and has everything you might need for a perfect family break. The location is perfect for the Town, Beach and Harbour .Shops and Pubs/Restaurants are literally on the doorstep. Everything is as described. We are now considering rebooking for the spring summer. One suggestion to the owners would be to supply a Hoover so that we could have left the house as we found it.

We are sailing out of Weymouth harbour and are passing Bridge View frequently. When the opportunity arose to buy this lovely town house in perfect holiday location we decided to look at it. The lovely finish with attention to detail, the great views and peaceful garden sealed the deal for us. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do!
