Det stora sovrummet har en king size-säng, öppen spis, 42 "TV och eget badrum. 2: a sovrummet har en kung med 42" TV plus eget badrum, 3: e sovrummet har en kung med 42 "TV plus eget badrum, 4: e sovrummet har kung med 42 "TV och ett delat badrum, femte sovrummet har en pyramiden våningssäng med 42" TV / och ett delat badkar, det sjätte sovrummet har 3 inbyggda kojer med 42 "TV / DVD plus eget badrum. Den öppna planlösningen på huvudnivån gör detta hus underbart. Medan killarna tittar på deras fotbollsmatch på storskärms-TV kan damen laga sina berömda måltider i gourmetköket. Köket har 2 ugnar, 2 diskmaskiner, mikrovågsugn, mixer och kaffebryggare (dropp och Keurig). The house worked well for my family. It was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. Having an elevator was great. My knees are getting old and the elevator saved a bunch of going up and down the stairs.

Lovely Spring Break

The house was beautiful and filled with every accommodation we could think to ask for. There were enough rooms that everyone had their own. The kitchen was properly stocked for us to have a stay in day and cook. The beach access was beautiful and well maintained. The elevator helped with our disabled and elderly family members. I would highly recommend staying here.

Hersey Beach

The house is beautiful. It was perfect for our annual girls' trip. We had a problem with the air conditioner on the 2nd day but it was fixed within a couple hours. The view of the beach is perfect.

Nice place

Only negatives were a water leak in the bathroom when we got there and no internet for a couple of days until my son finally fixed it. Very spacious house with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. In spite of the negatives we enjoyed our stay.

Great set up

The elevator was a real plus for getting ALL the food, luggage, drinks, etc up & down the stairs. We were 12 adults (ranging in age from 28-78) & 4 children under 3. We loved being able to all sit together for the evening meals - the table was great! It had pretty much everything we needed. Lovely sunrise/sunsets. Would definitely stay again!

Great Get Away!

Our family came together from all over the country to celebrate my daughter turning 16. We had such an amazing time. Everyone had their own private bedroom and bathroom and we were all so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and there was more then enough linens and towels. The views from the balconies were breath taking and the beach access was perfect. I highly recommend High Point for a relaxing beach front vacay.

Exceptional!

For a 3-generation family (15 of us), this house far exceeded our expectations! The house was well equipped with most everything we needed. The view was beautiful. Access to beach was easy and close. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. We were close enough to town to go see the sights but far enough out to feel the privacy of the beach. We can’t say enough about our stay other than it was the best yet compared to our other Galveston stays. Kudos to the owners…absolutely beautiful property!

Great spot for a reunion

We are 7 siblings and 4 spouses, all over 65. What a great place to meet! We used the elevator for luggage and an occasional ride, took walks on the beach, sat around the dining room table drinking coffee or playing games, lounged on the deck, and found local activities to enjoy. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to work in, and connected to the great room so we were together all but when we slept or napped. Then we had privacy. There are a lot of games there, which we didn’t see in the listing. Great place.

Wonderful and lovely beach home on Galveston beach

The home was wonderful, beautiful and very comfortable. I would highly recommend High Point to anyone needing a very large and lovely place to stay! So many amenities!!!! We would gladly rent again for another Galveston beach vacation!! (I was told by “Christine” that there is no such thing as a private beach in Texas. Thank goodness we didn’t have a problem with that. Christine was not an on time person so she told us to enter the house and she would be there later. Before she arrived, we looked in the first floor cabinets. We had her lock the liquor cabinet since it was not. Because we found a hole in one of the rooms, we let her know as we were checking in. She told us that the last people that had rented it had left the damage. Also, I find it hard to believe that Mr. Waymire would request the thinnest/cheapest toilet paper. Or to water down some of the hand soap dispensers.) It was a perfect stay!!! You don’t have to print anything that I have stated about Christine. Sincerely, Anna and family

Spacious, Open, Fabulous View, Worked for Us!!!!

Family reunion celebrating two wonderful birthdays. Perfect for all couples w/separate baths. Bunk room worked well for college grads, college students & two younger.Loved kitchen w/huge dining table but could have used a bigger refrig. Few things not working but sons were able to repair; blenders were not workable.All bedrooms need window shades/shutters/cover. Mirror needed in pyramid bedroom plus ceiling light replaced.Master door on first floor didn't close....elevator a treat but once didn't come up to floor level but door opened.Parking was great! Would definitely recommend.

I was born and raised in Houston Texas and my family all lives in Houston Texas. We built this house after going down to Galveston every summer and renting houses for summer vacations. We took everything we liked in homes we rented knowing when we built this house we would be renting it.

Varför värden valde detta boende

High Point is a perfect house for multiple families having six bedrooms (most) with private baths. High Point can accommodate 17 comfortably with its 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. The main living area is all one big great room with the kitchen, dining and living room all open - Great for family reunions, birthday parities, etc... It's oceanfront on the west end of Galveston only three miles from the seawall. Plenty of parking with wait for it an elevator that services all but the kids bunk room.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Six Bedrooms (two masters) 5.5 baths; kid bunk room that sleeps six with its own bathroom on the top floor! Two fireplaces, elevator (did I mention the elevator), multiple decks (one main deck off the kitchen/living area Gulf front and 2 bedrooms with private decks Gulf front but a little higher view) with Gulf of Mexico views and speakers, washer and dryer included so you can pack light, two dishwashers and surround sound in living area.
