Swn y Don är ett fantastiskt hus på ett fantastiskt läge. Översatt från walisiska
Swn y Don betyder "Sound of the waves". Denna fantastiska villa ligger i den vackra hamnen byn Cemaes Bay. Modernt, lyxigt och allt på en nivå ligger huset på kanten av kustvägen med några av de mest dramatiska vyerna på ön! Gå ut ur de stora dubbla dörrarna, förbi den stora lyxiga badtunnan, över den välskötta gräsmattan och i slutet av trädgården är havet! Du är bokstavligen på kustområden och en av de vackraste promenaderna i Wales! Beläget i hamnen byn Cemaes Bay med sina många affärer och hantverkare bakverk och slaktare, för att inte tala om den mycket pittoreska stranden som heter "Traeth mawr". Kustlinjen på denna del av ön är vild och robust och vissa skulle säga den vackraste delen av norra Wales. Således är det för några av kusterna längre norrut att kuststräckan härmed kallas "Skottland Bach" eller liten Skottland.

Beautiful property, perfect for a large family stay set in a stunning location right on the coast path with spectacular panoramic coastal views. The perfect base for family time away and had everything we needed.

What a find!

A beautiful property. Felt like home from home. Stunning sea views to the rear and right onto the coastal path from the garden gate. Amazing sunsets viewed from the fantastic hot tub. So peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed our stay so much.

Autumn Family getaway

Turned up to the house in the dark, but impressed straight away with the property. All rooms to high standard and well laid out with the addition of the small kitchen/bedroom/bathroom/living area which was excellent for our family with an infant to have thier own space. Well equipped and hot tub/garden provided fabulous extra space and stunning views. Lovely walk to the village over the cliffs and Cemaes Bay itself is great to visit, fabulous coastline/beach, shop, icecream parlour, pubs and a chippy! Easy driving distance to other places of interest in Anglesey. Fabulous weeks stay.

Beautiful bolthole to have peace and quiet

Every member of the family enjoyed their stay. Every day something different to do and see. The villa was as described spacious clean in fact everything you could wish for. The showers were amazing. Loved the beer/wine fridge. The garden was maintained so big too. The views were spectacular. We would highly recommend.

Great stay

An amazing house with lots of communal space, yet also spacious enough to provide everyone with their own space if needed.The location was good, with direct access to the coastal path if you turn right from the garden gate (note that the path was closed for a left turn due to erosion). It's only a short walk to the beach(es) and the town. Town had one pub serving food, a fish n chip shop and a Morrisons local - beyond that, everything is a drive away (nearest supermarket circa 30 mins drive).The central heating and radiators in the house were great, we visited in April, so it was still cold at times, so the fantastic central heating was welcome!Bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfy, good showers also. The washing machine and the dryer were welcome fixtures in the house - it meant we could travel pretty light. The kitchen was well equipped, with an oven, hob, microwave and airfryer, making any self-catering meals easy to knock up.The views from the conservatory and when in the hot tub are great, especially on a sunny day.The only issue we had was the internet, the service was very intermittent/slow, in this day and age it is almost an essential utility, especially when you have teenagers with you (or you have to try and join a meeting as was my case).We would happily stay there again

Peaceful with a beautiful view

Had such a relaxing time with the family. Lots of lovely walks with stunning views and swimming in the sea in the little bays close by. Then back to the hot tub and enjoy the view from the garden. An excellent holiday - one to highly recommend.

Lovely relaxed family holiday

The property is spacious, with three sitting areas, so ideal for a family to have some space. 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms ensure no arguments. Well appointed kitchen and sharp knives, which is a huge plus! Fantastic coastal views and the jacuzzi was an added bonus. We had a fab week exploring Anglesey.

Beautiful Location

Fantastic location. Very helpful owners/property manager. Kitchen pans could do with an upgrade. Two bathroom windows wouldn’t open and the small bedroom has paint flaking from the ceiling onto to the bed. Internet connection is very slow if you need to work. None of these minor criticisms would put me off staying again.
