Homestead med utsikt över floden Lym är en träkabin som byggdes 1915 och renoverades nyligen till hög standard. Detta mysiga och bekväma hem, som behåller mycket av sin ursprungliga charm, ger en perfekt bas för semester i Lyme Regis. Vandringsleder längs den lugna floden Lym ger en attraktiv och enkel promenad till strandpromenaden, butiker, pubar och restauranger, eller, på väg uppströms, vandringsleder i den vackra omgivande landsbygden inklusive Wessex Ridgeway långa sträcka. Vardagsrummet är mysigt och bekvämt med en vedspis. Det finns ett solrum framför fastigheten som ger en härlig plats att koppla av, titta på floden och titta på att världen går förbi. Off-road parkering för en medelstor bil finns på fastighetens uppfart. Observera att åtkomsten är besvärlig. Större fordon kan parkeras i närheten. Föräldrar till små barn bör notera den terrasserade trädgården och närheten till floden. Måndag eller fredag byte.

Fantastic Cottage

One of the best homes we’ve stayed at, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Short walk along the River Limm to the town and beach.

Perfect Seaside Cabin

Sheenas cabin was a perfect beach side cabin. It was lovely to walk along the river to reach the beach and township. The cabin itself was absolutely spotless and even roomier than the photos showed. We loved being able to eat out or cook up our own meals in the kitchen which had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay here as it was close to everything - no car was needed!

Beautiful Homestead by the stream

Stunning property on the eye, in a tranquil location short stroll to the town. Everything we needed to make our stay perfect at Homestead. The host had ensured everything was in place for our stay. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here, we left with fond memories. Thank you Sheena.

Cosy cottage in a lovely location

Homestead was clean tidy and comfortable, and was well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Definitely recommend. A very short walk into Lyme Regis with all its independent shops, cafes etc. The Town Mill and Lyme Regis Museum are well worth visiting. One thing to note, the parking at Homestead is tight as is mentioned in the description so take care.

Homestead is a great find. It's cosy, well equipped riverside cottage. It is a close walk into Lyme Regis, which makes it very convenient. Would certainly recommend.

Home from Home at Homestead

Very well equipped comfortable property that makes the most of its available space. Excellent position for Lyme that is an easy and pleasant walk along the river I will definitely be looking to return for a longer stay

September Mini Break

A nice, clean and thoughtfully furnished riverfront cabin, providing all we needed for a three night mini break after months of lock down. In a very hilly and steep Lyme Regis the cabin location is perfect as you can walk to town in 10-15 minutes along the river which is reasonably flat compared to much of the town. We appreciated having a dishwasher and although not cold enough to use in September, the wood burner looked very inviting. We did struggle to open the outside key box so perhaps some further instruction would have been helpful. We arrived to find milk and a chocolate bar in the refrigerator and ice in the freezer which was a lovely added touch. I would certainly recommend staying at this property when visiting Lyme Regis.

Here for the second time,Homestead is clean and fresh and everything you could want for a break . It The setting is calm and peaceful with just a short stroll into the beautiful Lyme centre. Perfect for our walking weekend.... actually Homestead is just that , perfect !!!

We moved to Lyme Regis from rural Derbyshire in 2010 to be closer to family and the beautiful Dorset coast. Homestead is a family venture, owned jointly with my brother and managed by myself and my husband Ben with assistance from our three girls and various friends and family. We enjoy sharing Homestead with visitors and giving more people the opportunity to visit this beautiful corner of the England.

Homestead is only 5 minutes from our own home in Lyme Regis; a place that we love sharing with friends and family when they come to visit. It is in a fantastic setting on the River Lim and its cabin structure has that lovely seaside feel.
