Vår fastighet noterades just på VRBO 2016. Denna fantastiska tre sovrum, tre badrum villa ligger i Bishop's Lodge villor intill Bishop's Lodge Ranch Resort & Spa. Det finns helt fri 360 graders panoramautsikt över Jemez- och Sangre de Cristo-bergen, men läget ligger bara fyra mil norr om Plaza!

Hemmet ligger i den mindre tätbefolkade, nedre delen av villorna, och erbjuder mest avskildhet. Vi hade det första urvalet av Bishop's Lodge Villas och valde integritet, lugn och spektakulär utsikt. Det finns en pool (vanligtvis öppen mitten av maj till oktober) bakom vår villa som delas med endast de 6 andra villorna i vårt avsnitt och som är mycket lättanvända. Det stora flertalet av tiden är det tomt.

Pueblo-revival-stilen, fristående villa med takbjälkar har ett fullt utrustat kök med gasspis, full ugn, mikrovågsugn och stort kylskåp. Måltider kan serveras i granitbänkområdet eller vid det intilliggande matsalsbordet som bekvämt har plats för sex, åtta vid behov.

Hemmets stora, stora rum har en soffa med drottning i skinndrottning, TV med ett premiumkabelpaket och kiva spis. Denna underbara, välkomnande sittgrupp vetter mot en stor uteplats där du kan njuta av samma hisnande utsikt som det stora rummet. Gassgrill och uteplatsstolar och bord erbjuder ett inbjudande middagsalternativ.

De tre sovrummen är inredda i klassisk spansk stil. Den turkosa och röd accenterade sovrumssuiten har en king size-säng, TV och kiva spis. Det egna badrummet har både dusch och bubbelbadkar. Det mellersta sovrummet har två enkelsängar och har utsikt över Jemez-bergen. Det tredje sovrummet kan lätt misstas av sovrummet och har en king size-säng, TV, kiva spis och härlig utsikt över Sangre de Cristo-bergen och Ski Santa Fe. Både det andra och det tredje sovrummet har dusch / badkar och separat handfat.

Hemmet ligger intill 200 hektar Santa Fe National Forest, och flera vandringsleder är lättillgängliga. Många av Santa Fe: s över 300 restauranger ligger inom en kort bilresa. Uber-taxitjänst är lättillgängligt.

Den största flygplatsen i närheten är Albuquerque (ABQ), något mer än en timme bort. Flyg är lätt tillgängliga från de flesta U. S. städer, och flygplatsen är lätt att navigera när du anländer. Hyrbilservice är också tillgänglig. Det är en direktväg via I-25 från Albuquerque till Santa Fe. En gång i Santa Fe är villan lätt att hitta.

Beautiful mountain views

Wonderful place. Quiet yet close to downtown. Spacious rooms with on suite bathrooms. Very well appointed kitchen. Great patio to enjoy the views. Also a short walk to Bishop’s Lodge to enjoy margaritas at the Skyfire bar. Overall a pleasant experience.

We all enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and area of Santa Fe. The kitchen was well stocked and we had access to a nice outdoor grill. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions quickly.

Tranquil and scenic setting minutes from the plaza

Steve was a great host. House is perfectly located to be a short drive from all the sites of Santa Fe yet be surrounded by quiet beauty. All the rooms are generously sized and two of the three bedrooms have fireplaces and beautiful views.

Great property

This home was wonderful for our group of 6 - 3 bedrooms with 3 baths. Great view and privacy and our hosts were so responsive. The coffee maker did not work and they immediately got us a new one. Everything worked out so well. Very clean and we were given very clear instructions.

Great Getaway just outside of downtown Santa Fe

We had a wonderful week long stay! The property location was so private and quiet, beautiful setting in the mountains just outside of the national forest. Could not ask for a better location! The property owner was great with communication and made the check in/check out process very easy. Furniture and room layouts were great for our family - kids each had their own beds. Kitchen had basic cooking utensils/pots/pans so you can make some meals during your stay. Plenty of linens, pillows, blankets, etc. provided, pool towels too. Having a washer/dryer was a huge plus We would love to stay here again on our next trip to santa fe!

EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE!

We've been to Santa Fe many times over the past 35 years, but first time to stay in this Bishops Lodge Villa. We were extremely pleased with the entire extraordinary experience! We were there May 30 to June 4 and it was some of the best days of our lives! BEST VIEWS we've ever had in Santa Fe, with no other dwellings in sight and spellbinding, panoramic views!!! The villa was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The cherry on top was that we got to have our little dog Wally Woo Woo with us! We can't wait to go back and stay in this same villa again! Thank you and God Bless our wonderful hosts!

LOVE THIS HOME !!!

We come to Santa Fe with our family every summer. We always try to rent this villa and have been successful 13 times out of the 17 summers we have been coming to Danta Fe. Steve and Ellen are such wonderful owners and are always avaliable to help with any questions and concerns. This home is well stocked with cookware and anything you would need to fix a great dinner . I cant say enough about how lovely the home is . The views are spectacular. All in all just a fantastic place to be with family. A short drive to the square and many resturants. We love this place and cant wait to come again next summer !!! Thanks again to our wonderful hosts !!! Ths Rhoades Clan 2023

Awesome

We were 2 families of four. The house was great. The kids shared the middle bedroom where there was space to add a queen inflatable mattress and the 2 master suites were private and spacious. The best part- unbelievable sunsets and a perfectly situated outdoor dining table. There’s a semi private heated pool right next to the home that we used almost every day. We were the only guests there. We took advantage of the scenic hike right outside the door. Santa Fe is a short 10 min drive down the old Spanish Trail. Overall we had a wonderful time and our host, Steve, was informative, thorough, and communicative. We hope to be back!

Beautiful View

The views from our Villa were beautiful & Steve was always easy to contact via text. That being said, we offer some suggestions for improving future visits for all. There was an unpredicted & uncontrollable plumbing situation that happened shortly after our arrival & it impacted our stay for a couple of days. Hopefully that will not happen again for guests. Some suggestions for the near future is better preparation of the kitchen area for cooking guests—only one kitchen towel & no dish cloths, no spare propane tank when we ran out in the middle of dinner preparations—more trash bags (we ran out & had to buy more)—no kleenex in the house anywhere. Carpet in the twin room was filthy & definitely needed more than a vacuuming (cleaning deposit was large enough to cover this). Screens & patio doors need some maintenance attention. Since there are no ceiling fans, we would recommend purchasing a third fan since there are only two in the house. Also suggest some painting in the dining room area. This is a lovely villa, but could use a little sprucing up!!

Perfect for our group

This place was perfect for our group of 3 couples to stay in on our recent visit to Santa Fe. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds while sitting on the patio. The view is beautiful. The layout of the property was also perfect for us. A place to gather and also a place for quiet if desired.

Stunning Sunsets

The property met all our needs. Many dinners spent on the patio watching the sunset, the community pool gave the kids a perfect excursion to cool off each day, and the views from the main pool were also incredible. A great spot for happy hour while the kids cool off. Bishops lodge was just a short walk down the hill, we fed carrots to the horses, walked the grounds, and snacked and had margaritas on the terrace. The ride into town for dinners and Canyon road was very short and convenient. A very lovely place for our family and friends!

Fabulous 360’ views of the Sangre de Cristos

We were visiting with extended family, ages 4yo through 70 yo. It was a fabulous gathering place. It was close enough to Santa Fe to easily go into town. The view, however, at the condo was so magnificent we’d frequently decide to bring dinner iin and eat on the patio. Highly recommend!!

Enjoying Santa Fe!

We had three generations staying at this property, and we loved it. The house was beautiful (pictures don’t do it justice), and our host was very helpful. It was convenient to everything that we wanted to do, but yet, it was quiet and restful. The views are amazing from every room. We would definitely stay here again!

Views and location

We loved being in Tesuque, out of the bustle of Santa Fe but close by. The views were fantastic and we also enjoyed the pool. The villa was comfortable and Steve was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Perfect Location!

Amazing views and very welcoming hosts. Any questions we had were quickly answered and they went out of their way to keep us informed of dining locations and things to do around the area. I would absolutely stay again!

We travel to Santa Fe several times a year... and this ranks as a top location for rest and relaxation! The views can't be beat - it is private and yet close to town. Steve is readily available to offer suggestions while visiting SF ... and to answer any questions you might have about your stay. A great experience.

Luxurious Comfort in a Gorgeous Setting

Our extended family of 6 spent 10 days enjoying what turned out to be a perfect spot for us. Based on the property description, the pictures, and the earlier reviews, we had high expectations, but those expectations were quickly exceeded. The house is spacious and attractive, built in a classic Santa Fe style. High ceilings, generously proportioned rooms, and doors leading to patios from every room give a sense of openness. Unlike some high-end properties that we have rented in the past, the house is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. You'll find a full array of spices in the kitchen, for example, plus cloth napkins and tablecloths, and both gas and charcoal grills (along with charcoal and an ash pit). Then there are the views. The pictures give a sense of the location, but it is even more beautiful, and there are hiking trails almost literally out the front door. Although the house is one of 7 on a gated drive, it sits in front of the other houses, on the edge of a bluff, so it feels totally isolated, yet it is only minutes from the Plaza. The owner was readily available with answers to questions and attention to minor problems that arose, yet he was never intrusive. Couldn't be better!

We hail from Chicago and New Jersey. We have lived near the Jersey shore; on Sanibel Island and Captiva Island, Florida; in the mountains of Colorado just west of Denver; and are now settled in Santa Fe. We chose Santa Fe because of the diversity of cultural activities; the amazing array of art galleries; the terrific, weather and short winter; and the hundreds of inviting restaurant options.

Bishop's Lodge Villas are located within minutes of the Plaza in the center of Santa Fe, yet are surrounded by mountains and numerous hiking trails that go for miles. You would have no idea you were near any city! We were fortunate enough, pre-construction, to have the first selection of building sites within Bishop's Lodge Villas, and opted for privacy and knockout views in all directions. It is great having a pool so close that is shared with only a few other villas and is very lightly used. Bishop's Lodge riding stable is only a five minute walk down the hill, but not in our view.

The Villa layout is very roomy, yet cozy. The kitchen and dining area open up to a gracious, large living room with an unparalleled view. All those areas have very high ceilings, accenting the spaciousness. The Villa is completely private, as it is located on a point, away from other homes. The 3 kiva fireplaces, in rooms accented with beautiful wood beams, enhance the winter coziness.
