Slappna av och varva ner i den här vackra skogsstugan. Det har alla bekvämligheter som krävs för en familj på 4. Lodge är utrustad med alla moderna bekvämligheter inklusive gratis parkering WiFi, diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, 3 TV och DVD i sovrummet.
Föredragna raster är halv vecka, helg och veckovis uthyrning men vi är flexibla och priset inkluderar sängkläder, handdukar, gas, el och vatten. Fritidspass är tillgängliga och betalas lokalt till parken på £ 15 för upp till 7 nätter för hela din fest för att njuta av användningen av faciliteterna på platsen som inklusive uppvärmd inomhuspool, bastu, ångbastu, jacuzzi och gym, det finns också en bar , restaurang och på affären tillsammans med en lekplats, alla ligger bara en kort promenad från lodgen. We had a wonderful stay here in the Lake District! The property is clean, updated, and we loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. It was so comfortable for our family. Highly recommend!

Great location for visiting the area

Stayed with family for 3 nights. The lodge is lovely, was clean and ideal to have the 3 en-suite bathrooms.Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t get much use of the deck area but would’ve been lovely had the sun come out. One of the showers kept dripping but it didn’t bother us as the sound of the rain drowned it out and when you closed the door to the bathroom we didn’t hear it. There were no urgent issues to be resolved. The amenities are great for kids and location is great for visiting nearby Windermere and Ambleside. The Marina is nice but you can’t swim in it.Guests can only use the pool facilities at set times in the afternoon which unfortunately didn’t suit since we were out at the times it was available. It was handy to have the restaurant on site and be able to get take away from there delivered to the lodge too.I’d definitely recommend staying especially for families as there’s enough to keep kids entertained and quiet enough for the adults to enjoy some peace too! Nearby Brockhole on Windermere is fantastic for a day out - lots for the kids to do, boat hire, tree top fun, archery, swimming in the lake - we visited on our last day after checking out when the sun finally came out and wished we could’ve had another full day to make the most of that especially as it was only a 10-15 min walk from the holiday park.

New Year away

Finding the property was easy from the information we were provided. The lodge was warm and cozy, just what we needed with the weather being so bad. The wine cooler was excellent! Just what we needed for New Year's Eve celebrations. The beds were very comfortable.

Amazing Adventure

We were a group of 6 friends visiting the Lake District. This was an amazing property. It was as described. Super neat and clean. The owners were also fabulous and responded to all our questions and were super helpful with places to eat in the area. I'd recommend this property to anyone wanting a home away from home in the Winderemere area. Thanks Louise and Lindsey

Fabulous Lodge

Super clean, very well equipped, comfortable and spacious lodge in one of the quieter areas of the park. Comfortable beds and lovely shower rooms. We had one slight problem on out first day but sorted by the host in less than half an hour. Couldn't fault the lodge and surroundings - the only down-side of our week was the internet that kept dipping out which was a bit annoying but, all in all, a super stay.

Fantastic

We are just home from Sunny Bank lodge. All I can say is it was perfect. Decorated to a high standard and everything you need is there. Louise was brilliant and it’s a credit to her. She is very good at communicating quickly so you’re not waiting long for any queries to be answered. Its location is about 2 min walk from the reception/pub/ shop/ play area and swimming pool so you’re not going to get lost. The introductions given were easy to follow when checking in so there will be no problems. Sadly we had rain almost every day but we still got out and about and the site is a few miles drive to Windermere where there is lots to do for all ages. The decking area loops round the lodge so you’d be getting the sun most of the day (if you’re lucky with the weather) and there are three different seating areas to relax in. Highly recommend a stay here and you will not regret it. We will certainly be back and we traveled from Northern Ireland. Worth the 12 hour round trip!!

Lovely lodge stay in Windermere!

A beautiful lodge that was very clean and in a gorgeous setting. I was worried the lodge would be small for seven of us but the sofa and living area was very spacious and there was plenty of room. The addition of an en-suite in every bedroom was also lovely! Would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous week in Windermere!

We had a great stay here. Fantastic location, the lodge was great for all ages. It is pretty big & has a great outdoor area too. Really relaxing and quiet on the holiday park also. We ended up using the pool which is on site which was great, you can book it in hourly slots at reception. Also used the courts & the park which was great for a 1 year old and 9 year old. This place would also be great for just adults too! Close to walk to the boats & close drive to Windermere & Ambleside. We also left two stuffed animals which Louise was very happy to post back to us! All round great trip. Thanks!

We had an excellent time staying at the lodge. Very spacious and modern it has all the comforts and warmth for a fantastic stay. Kids loved the ensuites in the rooms!

Absolutely Idyllic stay

Couldn't have asked for a better venue to treat my Mum to a surprise holiday. The lodge was impeccably decorated and set up for our stay. The location was perfect, managed to get out from the park straight onto the water with our kayak. The park is also only a short car ride to Ambleside and Bowness on Windemere. Louise our host could not have been more accommodating. Would definitely visit again!

Idyllic

First time I have ever stayed in a lodge and was not sure of what to expect but upon arrival was really pleased with the location of the lodge. After accessing the lodge my family and myself was taken aback with the quality of this lodge. Everything was really above our expectations and the cleanliness was spot on. Three en suite bedrooms was really good and TVs in each bedroom meant no arguing over what to watch. The open plan of this lodge was great with a big living area and kitchen meaning no one was ever felt left out whilst cooking the n the excellent kitchen area. The decking area was great with plenty of furniture to relax on and even an outside dining table which sat the six of us on comfortable. The marina was a short walk away and so to was reception area with facilities so felt like we was ideally situated in the middle. This to me was a perfect lodge in perfect surroundings for my family and myself to spend our holiday in. Will definitely be looking to return. Thank you Paul Smith and family

I live in north of England with my husband and 2 teenage children. We both work and enjoy holidaying whenever we can either abroad or in this country. With owning Sunny Bank Lodge it means we can get away at short notice and enjoy the many attractions that the beautiful Lake District has to offer.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We decided to buy this lodge on White Cross Bay as we live in the Lake District but never holiday in the area. Now with having Sunny Bank Lodge when it's not let out we can just jump in the car and be there within 20 minutes to enjoy the peace and tranquillity that the lodge has to offer as well as having the Lake District literally on the door step.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

White Cross Bay holiday Park is nestled between Windermere and Ambleside and only 2 miles away from Windermere train station. When arriving at White Cross Bay you will be greeted by the friendly staff at reception where they will hand you the keys to Sunny Bank Lodge, give you a map of the holiday park and where the lodge is on site. When approaching the lodge you will see there is plenty of parking for upto 3/4 vehicles, with a large decking area with plenty of seating for those alfresco evenings. The lodge will have been fully cleaned with fresh linen and towels provided. On site there is a bar, restaurant small shop, arcade and leisure facilities which includes gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. (Leisure passes can be bought at reception if required at a cost of £15 for up to 7 nights for your whole party for the duration of your break).
