HÀrligt renoverat 2012 ligger Casa Verde pÄ en fantastisk och mycket privat plats (Àgaren bor off-site). Den vackra trÀdgÄrden Àr den perfekta platsen att koppla av och varva ner i solen, kanske pÄ den tÀckta terrassen som har sötluktande jasmin, kaprifol och blÄsor som vÀxer över taket.

Ovanligt för ett mindre hus i detta omrÄde har Casa Verde en egen privat saltvattenpool, grÀnsad till lavendel och olivtrÀd, och pÄ den perfekta platsen att dricka i den magiska utsikten.

Inuti Àr huset en tilltalande blandning av traditionell och modern stil och erbjuder alla moderna varelser bekvÀmligheter inklusive wifi. Casa Verde har varit vackert men enkelt inredda och möblerade med lokalt framstÀllda material som anvÀnds dÀr det Àr möjligt. Det finns ett mysigt kök med öppen planlösning och vardagsrum med balkar, vedspis och klinkergolv i terrakotta. Köket Àr vÀlutrustat med handgjorda, rosa marmor-toppade enheter med gott om förberedelser.

PÄ övervÄningen finns tvÄ vackert möblerade dubbelrum med bleka trÀgolv och balkar. Det finns skarpa sÀnglinne i vit bomull, fjÀderkuddar, tÀcken och extra filtar under kallare mÄnader. Det lilla men luftiga, samtida badrummet har öppen dusch i vackra, traditionella toskanska plattor med mjuka handdukar.
I ett litet sidorum nedervÄningen finns en ganska spÀnnande fresco - en övertygande kopia av lokalt född renÀssanskonstnÀr, Piero della Francescos 'The Resurrection of Christ'. Men ingen verkar veta vem som sÀger det hÀr pÄ Casa Verde!

Huset Àr lÀttillgÀngligt, utanför en asfalterad vÀg och har parkering för tvÄ bilar. Byarna Lippiano och Monterchi ligger i nÀrheten med alla viktiga bekvÀmligheter.

Excellent Holiday

This was our the third stay at the house so we knew that everything would be of a high but relaxed standard. It is ideally situated for us offering a high level of privacy but easy access to a beautiful area and wonderful hilltop towns. A really wonderful place to stay with a very friendly and helpful owner.

WOW Casa Verde is so beautiful we LOVE it.........

This was our second stay at Casa Verde and it lived up to all expectations.....well more to be honest. We visited 2 years ago and decided to come back this year to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. What can we say it is just perfect. Beautiful villa, great cooks kitchen, stunning pool and Charlotte is the perfect host. She is just like a very good friend. We can't recommend Casa Verde enough. We will certainly be back again soon to see Charlotte, enjoy the villa and to visit the many beautiful places close by. Thanks again Charlotte........

Who loves loneliness and tranquility is right here! We had a fantastic time in this beautiful and very well maintained house. The house has so much charm and every room is furnished with love and great attention to detail - thus we felt in love immediately. The equipment of the house leaves nothing to be desired, here was really thought of everything. The property is very spacious and well-maintained, there are many beautiful places to sit and relax and the pool is huge and wonderful. And many thanks to Charlotte, who made our holiday in this fantastic property with her lovely kindness just unique!!! We will be back soon :-)

we spent a few days in Charlotte's house and really enjoyed the it. The house is furnished very nicely, it comes with a nice place to breakfast in the sun (at least in April) and provided everything we needed. Charlotte is a very welcoming host.

Casa Verde is a beautiful house in the most gorgeous location amongst the hills close to Monterchi. Charlotte has thoughtfully and tastefully created the perfect house for a holiday in this area. We loved the complete peace, slept like logs, and the night sky is truly something to behold! Casa Verde is very well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Charlotte has put together an excellent folder of extremely useful information about the area, including the best places to eat out, markets, local details etc. She is also on-hand for up-to-date info about things going on in the area. We highly recommend Casa Verde, and would love to return! Thank you, Charlotte, for creating such a special place!

Quel belle dĂ©licatesse et si pratique quand nous avons voyagĂ© un certain temps pour se rendre Ă  la Casa Verde et n’ayant pas eu le temps d’arreter au super marchĂ© ,pour nous faire recevoir par notre charmante hĂŽte Charlotte avec un panier avec herbe fraĂźche , pasta , sauce tomates ,huile d’olive ,fraises ,fromage ,pain ,miel et complĂ©ter le tout , un Prosecco . Ça commence bien les vacances ! Tout Ă©tait Ă  notre goĂ»t , la propretĂ© , les accessoires pour la cuisine dans un dĂ©cor en toute simplicitĂ© et dĂ©corer avec goĂ»t sans superflus . TrĂšs belle piscine qui donne sur les montagnes oĂč l’on voit au loin Monte Santa MarianTiberina . Nous avons passĂ© deux semaines merveilleuses ! Merci Charlotte

What a view!

We had a lovely break at Casa Verde back in Sept. Charlotte was a wonderful host and cares passionately about providing a home from home. The added extras of a welcome basket, linen change and pool maintenance while giving guests total privacy was perfection. The info on the local area was very accurate, in particular the recommended restaurants . The result, we explored the countryside extensively & ate very very well. If you like the quiet, deafeningly quiet (well except for the chickens, which provide your morning wake up ) nature (we saw wild boar, deer, black squirrel, owls, eagles & butterflies to name just a few) and the amazing views, then this is the place for you. A beautiful part of Umbria, oh & the truffle oil, a specialty of the region was out of this world. I envy where Charlotte lives.

Charming house in stunning rural location

Casa Verde exceeded all our expectations. It was very well equipped, comfortable and immaculately presented. On arrival we were greeted by the property owner who was extremely helpful and hospitable. She had thoughtfully left us a basket of delicious local produce which meant that we didn't need to immediately find a shop. Fresh flowers had been arranged in the living room and bedroom which was a lovely touch. There was a book containing a huge amount of detailed information regarding local attractions, shops and restaurants which we found very useful. The pool and garden were well maintained with fruit trees and lavender, a pretty patio area and an absolutely beautiful outlook over a wooded valley and hills in the distance. The location had a peaceful, timeless feel and certainly a very relaxing place to stay. The nearest village of Monterchi ( a 10 minute drive) had a some great places to eat, shops selling local produce and a fascinating museum housing a famous fresco. There were many places of interest nearby. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would love to return one day.

Comfortable house, amazing pool, lovrly setting

We had a wonderful stay at charlotte's house. The location is off the main path which adds to its charm and serenity. The pool is amazing and can provide hours of relaxation. The grounds are lovely with a variety of plants. The listing is accurate in every way. The house is comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with al the basic amenities which is nice. The wifi was good enough to stream or download if you need to. We met Charlotte a few times during our stay and she was helpful with information about the local area. Wish we could have stayed longer and we would definitely return if in the area.

der perfekte Ort

Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, mit Liebe und viel Geschmack eingerichtet, der Salzwasserpool herrlich und Charlotte eine wunderbare Vermieterin. Auch autofrei ist es gut zu erreichen (Taxi von Arezzo = 60€) und in den umliegenden HĂŒgel lĂ€ĂŸt es sich gut wandern. Also: der perfekte Ort.

Stunning location for a relaxing break away for it all.

Perfection

We were looking for a comfortable quiet house with a view and a pool in central Italy and on the description on the site this one ticked all the boxes for us. The reality was even better. After following Charlotte's directions to find the house we arrived stressed out from work and travel to be greeted by her with a welcome pack that included a bottle of Prosecco that was already chilled in the fridge. She made us very welcome and both in person and in the folder in the house, which has all the instructions needed as well as advice on local shops, eating out, etc. The view over the hills towards Monte Santa Maria Tiberina is beautiful. The main noises in the day are the nearby chickens (and cockerel of course!) and at night the calls of 3 species of owls. The salt water pool is faultless and relaxing. There are good walks to be had locally (you will need a map!) and the nearby towns of Sansepulcro and Citta di Castello are both well worth a visit. Arezzo is an easy drive for even more art (Piero della Francesca - a must see) architecture and food. We both agreed at the end of our stay that we will be back for more! Andrew & Becky

Beautiful Place to Stay

We were a group of four including two kids. On arrival we found a welcome package with pasta, pesto, Prosecco etc. which gave us a great start and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this part of Italy. The house was quiet and well located for visiting Tuscany, Umbria and beyond. The photographs were a faithful representation of the charming and perfectly maintained house, pool and garden. The quality of the kitchen equipment including washing machine/dishwasher was excellent. This is one of the best properties that we have leased whether in Italy, France, Germany, the UK or elsewhere; we very much hope to have the opportunity to return.

So good we came back again

This was our second visit to this lovely house. Everything already said is true - Charlotte has put a lot of love into this house and really wants her guests to enjoy their stay. We obliged by having a fantastic time! The local area is lovely - so many places to explore. However if you just want to stay put and relax it is perfect; quiet, peaceful, great views. I wish I owned it - if I ever win the lottery I might have to make Charlotte an offer she can't refuse!

Perfection

A beautiful villa in an idyllic spot with gorgeous views. Picturesque, quiet location but still accessible to so many gorgeous Italian towns and restaurants. Charlotte was the perfect host. Nothing too much trouble. Plenty of information in the villa along with a delightful welcome hamper. The salt water pool was lovely although unfortunately while we were there the weather wasn't so good - luckily the log burner kept us cosy in the evenings. I am British but have lived abroad for the last 11 years. I've always loved Italy and was on holiday in the area when we came across Casa Verde in 2011. It was very neglected but we fell for it straight away and bought it that December. In 2014, I decided to make the move permanently to Italy and now live nearby in the village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, with my two dogs.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Being right on the Umbrian/Tuscan border means having the best of both regions as it is possible to make day trips to places like Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Arezzo, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto and Cortona etc.

Closer to home, the scenery is beautiful, the whole area is steeped in history, art and culture and there is plenty to see and do, right on the doorstep. Or if relaxing is in order, just enjoying a leisurely lunch out, having a wander around and then spending the afternoon lazing by the pool - there is no better place to be. I find the people here so friendly and helpful, the food is wonderful and life seems to pass at a much gentler, more pleasant pace.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

A friend of mine once described Casa Verde as 'magical' and I totally agree. It has a lovely feel, possibly because of its fantastic location and those incredible views, and the stillness on a summer's day when all you can hear are the bees in the lavender as you relax by the pool.

For me, there is nothing better than sitting out in the evening, watching the fireflies and sipping a glass of wine as I look across the valley to the ancient village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, all lit up on the hill opposite. If there is a full golden moon suspended over the village, the view is nothing short of completely spectacular.
