A gem of a spot

Great location across the road from the sea. Gabriel and Anna were excellent hosts. Beautiful sunrises and a quiet area. We recommend to anyone planning a trip to Santorini.

Amazing!!

Exceeded expectations. Very roomy. Gorgeous view. Loved the front patio. Had everything we needed. A car to get around the island is a must. Host was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Very nice unique place with a wonderful patio

The place is very nice and in a unique location on Santorini. It’s away from the towns and the congestion, which is nice. However, if you plan on venturing around the island, I would highly recommend renting a car. Using Google maps made it easy to navigate the island and the driving is pretty easy if you just pay attention. The patio and the view is very unique with the little harbor right in front of the place. The location has a few restaurants and shops. Which are a bit rundown as compared to the towns, but I’m sure they’re fine. Look like quite a few locals come to the spot on the weekends. This place is centrally located on the island and very close to the airport. To go to the north takes about 20 to 25 minutes and go to the south takes the same time.

Excellent stay

The home is wonderful. The location is quiet and peaceful but you must have a car to get anywhere. There is very little to do on the island during the winter months and the ocean is very cold. Perfect for anyone that wants to unplug for a few days. Host fixed hot water issues immediately and was very friendly.

Santorini

House is right on the shore, steps from the beach. Out of the main tourist areas, but easy to use bus system to get anywhere on the island. Gabriel's house is nicely updated and he and Anna were good at commun- ication.

From the help we received organizing family activities from the host beforehand to the lovely property and stay we really enjoyed our holiday. Monolithos (and beach) are perfect for families and the home made for a perfect setting for a family holiday

AHHHHH-MAZINGLY FABULOUS RELAXATION LOCATION!!!

My husband and I had the most amazing time.It is a fabulous location, wonderful accommodations. The hosts were so fantastic at securing us a rental car, a personal cooking class with a local chef, and general Q&A from us about what to do, where to go etc. When we return to the island we most cettainly will return to this Lovely Home!

Paradise

We could not have picked a more perfect place to spend an amazing 2 weeks plus with my husband, mother and my sister. Easy access, amazing views, great places to eat and a fun beach to play in the waves. Morning sunrises were spectacular and evening sun sets from the pier equally awe inspiring. Home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Thanks Gabriel!!

Gabriel House

Beautiful area, Santorini key areas all within a short distance, quiet and away from the crowds. Outdoor space allowed us to enjoy the evenings and spectacular sunrise. The beach nearby is perfect for a swim and local restaurants served great food and all super helpful. Host Anna was very attentive although we had no issues at the well appointed property. Amazing Little place!

Very nice house and location with an amazing on-site team. The concierge staff went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She also was amazing in helping us locate a left behind item and having it shipped to us. Truly remarkable!!

Perfect for family with you children

Beautiful quiet location, very close to 2 beaches, restaurants, bar and mini-market, all within 3 minute walk. Lovely sea and harbour view from the living room and terrace. Perfect place to chill, not many tourists. Gabriel was a good communicator and with Katerina made everything easy.

Wish we had booked for longer

The property had everything you could possibly need. The location is away from the hustle and bustle but has a beach, a good restaurant on the beach and a well provided mini-market. The host could not have been more helpful.

Gabriel’s House is Great!

Gabriel and Andrea are excellent hosts! Gabriel picked us up from the airport when the taxi didn’t arrive, and shared some wine and fun conversation! The place is very clean, lots of towels and there were snacks and water to drink-which was very appreciated! The Agean Sea is beautiful and warm & clear with a nice beach just a few steps away!

Santorini Sunrise House

Best sunrise views! We stepped out on our porch each morning to see the sunrise. We slept 5 comfortably. Clean and safe accommodations. Host was very responsive and arranged drivers who were very responsive as well. Katerina was very helpful with washing machine instructions. Black beach steps away was quiet and beautiful.

Hidden Gem!

Amazing stay at Gabriel’s beach house. The place was spotless and 20 steps to the small beach village. The veranda was great hangout spot for the whole family. Gabriel was responsive and left a welcome bottle of wine in the fridge which was such a treat after a day of travel. The area was a welcome change of pace from the tourist packed parts of Santorini. Already thinking of when I can come back. Don’t miss the local taverna!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

We had an amazing visit at Gabriel’s House on the Beach. The owner was very communicative and helpful for checkin and throughout our stay. He helped us get an airport transfer and answered all our other questions. The house is right on the water. Public beach basically next door. It’s much more spacious than we anticipated. Make sure to get up for the sunrise. It is gorgeous!!

Family friendly

We really enjoyed our time here. The contact with our host was fantastic and her recommended wine tour with Klara was amazing and a very unique tour. Monolithos beach is very close but property does not back on to beach. The beach is beautiful. Bus stop was close to us, times not very regular but fit into our schedule to go to Fira and took 20-30 minutes to get there. The place was nice, when we got to the place there was sand on the couches. Beds were quite comfortable. Overall would recommend this place for young families and would return.

Holiday break with friends

The pictures showed a beautiful property but did not paint an accurate portrait of the overall state of the house. It was dusty on the inside and the bed and bath linen were unpleasant to use and should have been thrown away and new ones provided. Washing machine, kettle etc needs to be replaced as well. Owner very pleasant and helpful but the property needs tender loving care. Lovely location and easy access to the beach and eating venues. Also easy to and from the airport and to Fira and surrounding towns.

Lovely house in a good location.

The newly refurbished house was comfortable, welcoming and very well equipped. Both Anna (who looked after us on-site) and Gabriel could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and making sure that we had a comfortable stay. The lovely, shaded terrace at the front of the house meant we could really enjoy the warm weather and views. We also enjoyed watching the little harbour and its boats. Santorini was lovely. After a day visiting some of the more busy parts like Fira it was a real pleasure to come home to the relatively quiet Monolithos. The cottage is ideally placed for those who want to spend their time on the beach and the local restaurants and café are excellent. The mini-market was great – fresh bread for breakfast - and there are two good supermarkets within easy driving distance. Gabriel’s house’s central location meant that we could easily visit all different sites across the island. We very much enjoyed both the ancient sites as well as Fira and Oia villages with their amazing views. Overall an excellent holiday, made all the better by staying in a lovely, comfortable property with helpful hosts. We very much recommend this property.
