Det finns två dubbelrum med garderob och lådor i båda rummen.

Lovely flat

Enjoy coming to this lovely, well equipped, comfortable flat and have returned four times.Jane, the host is super helpful and there is everything you need in the flat which is located opposite Kelso Abbey and near all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Very clean and cosey, well located and very well furnished with plenty books to read and sources of information. The owner was very helpful too.

Kelso

Kelso is a wonderful town. The butcher shop and restaurant around the corner are fantastic. Very nice produce shop nearby. Car parking is free, but usually not available closer than a block.

Lovely flat in Kelso

We felt immediately at home in the flat and everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Very comfortable beds and great shower and kitchen very well equipped. Location is central and lots of shops nearby. Highly recommend.

Initially the apartment seemed a little old fashioned but it was scrupulously clean and by gosh, it had everything you needed for a very comfortable visit and we had a great stay. The location was brilliant too. Thank you.

Lovely, clean apartment

We spent a lovely week in Kelso this Summer. The flat was very clean and had everything we needed, in terms of cooking utensils etc. Kelso is a beautiful town with nice surrounding walks. The location was also handy, as the bus stop to take us into neighbouring Jedburgh, Melrose etc, was only a short walk away.

Fantastic Week

We stayed in Kelso as a central point for visiting the South Borders of Scotland and this apartment was perfect. Right in the heart of Kelso. Lots of places to eat, shop, tour the town and its attractions like Floors Caste and the Antique Fair. Being next to the Abbey, the views out of each window was a painting. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies if you want to cook your own meals. Parking is located on the road at the apartment if you can get a spot or very close by is a free parking lot. Highly recommend this lovely apartment. We would definitely stay here again

When last minute travel plans turn into a wonderful discovery

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kelso and at Jane's flat. Comfortably spacious, quiet, centrally located, with views out to Kelso Abbey and the graveyard very atmospheric. Perusing Jane's collection of vintage books, maps and slightly old fashioned paraphernalia made for pleasant evenings with a glass of wine in hand. We would happily stay here again and indeed, look forward to our return to the Scottish Borders (a last minute travel decision ! ). So much to see and do. Lovely gentle countryside with brilliant historical castles and abbeys. And, Hunter's, the butchers/petite bistrot to the front of the building was fabulous ! Thank you Jane.

Lovely apartment, great location

This was our second time here, and every bit as good as the first. Perfect base for walks along the rivers Tweed and Teviot, and we also enjoyed visits to the Great Tapestry of Scotland in its new home in Galashiels as well as to Mellerststain House, Floors Castle and Lindisfarne. It was an added bonus to be in Kelso for the annual Civic Week with all the festivities associated with installing the Kelso Laddie 2022, including lots of action from the pipe band, superb fireworks, and an amazing equestrian procession for the Rideout to Yetholm. And the flat is almost next door to Hunters, which must be the best butcher/ deli in Scotland. Many thanks Jane for a very comfortable stay in your lovely apartment.

Ideally Placed Flat

The flat is very light and spacious with a great close up view of Kelso Abbey. There is a well equipped kitchen, even a washing machine, which is very useful for the 10 days we stayed. The bathroom is clean and so are the bedrooms, which are not cramped and have plenty of storage. It's up a number of stairs but was not a problem for us. The flat is just off the high street a mere seconds from the door. Kelso has many cafe's, shops and a micro brewery and is ideally placed for exploring Northumbria as well as the border area and Edinburgh. Glasgow is a 2 hour drive but you do get to see the lovely countryside. The flat is not visible from the High Street and as there is a partial one way system you have to take the first right turning next to the square followed by another right turn to get to that actual property. Although close to a pub it wasn't noisy for long and hardly any noise through the week. We had a lovely stay and hope to return one day.

We live down in Gloucestershire but use the flat maybe for 5 or 6 weeks a year and friends have also used it in the past - so it is home from home. We have recently upgraded the bathroom.
We enjoy Kelso as everything one needs is on your doorstep, and yet where the property is situated it quite quiet, even at night.
Wi-Fi available.

Having been brought up in the Scottish Borders, my husband retains an affection for the area and when his parents died, he bought the flat as a means of keeping in touch with his 'native heath'.

For a town property, there are pleasant views overlooking the churchyard and the ruins of Kelso Abbey. The second bedroom does not have a view but is very quiet at night.
There are 2 pubs nearby - sometimes a bit noisy at the weekend but they close at 11.00 pm!
