Waterfront Familj Fritidshus pÄ Pender Island, BC

Huset Àr en kort bilresa frÄn BC Ferries terminal vid Otter Bay, och Àr pÄ vattnet - en liten vik som Àr en del av Bedwell Harbour och intill kanalen som skiljer North Pender och södra Pender. Det finns en flytdocka pÄ huset som vi delar med vÄra grannar. "Stranden" framför huset Àr tillgÀngligt vid lÀgre tidvatten. Stranden vid Mortimer Spit Àr en 10-minuters promenad frÄn huset.

Huset har plats för parkering 2 eller 3 bilar bekvÀmt. Det finns en frÀmre uteplats / dÀck med vacker utsikt över viken, utemöbler och en propan grill.

Inne i huset Àr utrustat med alla nödvÀndigheter, inklusive kök med ugn, mikrovÄgsugn, diskmaskin, kyl och köksredskap. Det finns en TV, video / DVD-spelare och WiFi. I en back hallen finns en liten tvÀttstuga med tvÀttmaskin och torktumlare. En hÄrtork och strykjÀrn finns ocksÄ. Vattentillförseln till huset Àr en stor cistern, som levereras av en brunn. Det finns en omvÀnd osmos vattenkran i köket och vi tillhandahÄller dricksvatten i stora kannor som passar en vattenkylare / dispenser i köket.

Den nedre vÄningen av huset Àr nÀstan alla öppna koncept, vilket Àr bra för familjen tid tillsammans. Det finns ett "vardagsrum" avsnittet med tvÄ lÀder stolar som ser ut genom golv till tak panoramafönster pÄ den spektakulÀra utsikten. En fÄtölj och en soffa slutföra detta omrÄde. Det finns ett matbord gjord av Ätervunnet trÀ med plats för 10. Det finns ett större sovrum pÄ nedre vÄningen som har skjutdörr tillgÄng direkt till utsidan dÀck. Detta sovrum grÀnsar till ett badrum.

Den övre vÄningen har en balkong play / vardagsrum med 2 soffor. I ena Ànden av huset Àr det största sovrummet och Master Bath (med jacuzzi och glasblock dusch). Det stora sovrummet har sin egen lek, och en öppen spis. I andra Ànden av huset finns tvÄ sovrum, ett med en drottning sÀng, den andra med tvÄ enkelsÀngar.

Vi tillhandahÄller sÀngklÀder, handdukar och grundlÀggande förnödenheter sÄsom toalettpapper, handtvÄl, pappershanddukar, diskmaskin tvÄl, diskmedel, tvÀttmedel, etc ..

Best sleep of our vacation

Very quiet area, slept great every night! The house is comfortable, clean and has beautiful views. Enjoyed the many hiking trails close by.

Great March Break Getaway

We had a fantastic time in this space. The windows and view were absolutely incredible, we had everything we needed. We loved our little beach - the kids had a great time exploring the shore line and watching the marine life from the dock. We've made some great family memories here!

Perfect place on Pender

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this house of that tells you anything. It’s in such a great location. Amenities are great, fully stocked kitchen is awesome and you can cook just about anything you want. There’s enough room for everyone. Close to trails, the dock is awesome to watch sea life. I really enjoyed watching the otters and bald eagles from the dock.

Stunning views

What a special place! We saw so much wildlife just from the those big bay windows. Seals, otters, eagles, hummingbirds, deer, and a garter snake. There was an issue with the water system but it was quickly resolved and Andrew provided excellent service and an alternative solution while the repairs were completed. We had an amazing stay and our whole family said it was the highlight of our vacation. We will be back!

Amazing stay

We loved staying at Andrew’s cabin. It was quiet, secluded and had the most beautiful view. We loved all the space the cabin had to offer. Our 3 year old loved the little air hockey table upstairs and our 10 year old loved the big kitchen table for puzzles. Hide and seek was amazing in this house!! We fished off the dock and enjoyed the big kitchen. It was such a relaxing perfect vacation spot, we are already planning for when we can return. Andrew was so wonderful to deal with and was even flexible with check in and out times to help accommodate our ferries. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was perfect for two families that included 3 teenagers. There was a lot of room to move around inside and out. It was clean, had everything that you would need and the property manager was quick to reply. Note that water restricitions are there for a reason!

Big House, Great Location

This is a beautiful location, right on the water. The house is spacious and had everything we needed. There were eight of us (6 adults and two kids under 4). The Kids loved it, my 4 year old grand daughter asked me to ask the man who owns the house if we could come again.

Delightful Escape

After a 3-year separation, thanks to Covid, my sisters and partners were finally able to reunite under one roof. And what a roof! We were so delighted with the space when we walked through the front door that we forgot all about silencing the alarm. The house is beautifully situated in an idyllic spot and we often found ourselves transfixed by the view, enjoying the antics of the seals and otters, the passing deer, and the wild fowl. The house is open and airy and comfortably appointed. We appreciated the spaciousness of the bedrooms and the privacy that they afforded. The upstairs loft was a perfect spot for yoga with a view! Unfortunately the temperatures during our stay were a little chilly, so we didn't take advantage of the deck. But we were so busy exploring the island and the trails that we didn't have had much time to relax during the days. We certainly hope to return to Pender and Ainslie Cove in the future. Thank you, Andrew!

A great place

The house is well placed right at the junction of the north and south islands which makes it central for all visits. It's also walking distance from the best hike on the island. The main room is stunning with full walls of windows and very high ceiling. Everything is very well equipped and we'll maintained and we had no issues. We appreciated the vintage video collection as well as Netflix availability. Only little point is that we missed shampoos and soap as well as basic oil and vinegar. They'll be here for the next guests!

A Bit of Paradise

Fabulous house and location right on the sea. Clean, hospitable owner, and easy access to grocery shopping ,hiking, cycling and paddle sports. Wildlife right out your window. 5 stars all the way.

Ideal base for exploring Pender Island

We really enjoyed our week at Ainslie Cove. The house is clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The cove and harbour beyond it are beautiful; we saw blue herons, bald eagles, and osprey. A trailhead for Mount Norman and Beaumont Marine Park is just up the road. My family and I would love to stay here again.

I grew up in BC - on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver. My career has taken me to the US and I now live in New Jersey, but this part of Canada is still "home", and this house is a special part of our family experience. We love to share it with our guests.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

The house is all wood, and located in a great spot that gets a good amount of sunshine each day, and has wonderful views of the water. The trail to Mt Norman is steps from the top of the driveway, and Mortimer Spit is close by as well.
