Om du vill fly till landet för en avkopplande semester, är Sunset Barn platsen för dig. Sunset Barn ligger undangömt längst ner i en mycket tyst körfält med utsikt över landskapet runt. Vi handlar om en 30 min promenad till The Farmers Kitchen och ca 25 min promenad till The Wortwell Bell Pub där du hittar lite bra mat. Vi är laddade mellan marknaderna Bungay och Harleston, Beccles är också lättillgänglig tillsammans med den vackra Soulwold-kusten. Norwich och Bury St. Edmunds är också bra ställen att besöka. är en fantastisk stad att besöka och är bara 16. 2 miles away. Bury St Edmunds är också ett bra ställe att besöka. Utemöbler levereras. Det finns många ställen att cykla till och den största bonusen för mig är att de flesta av vägarna är platta :-) Det finns många vackra landsbygden promenader precis vid dörrsteget. Kanoer finns att hyra i Bungay om du vill ha en dag på Waveney River.

This is a little gem

We really enjoyed our stay, on arrival we were me by donna, she was very nice and warm friendly, the barn has everything needed for a relaxing stay, we adore the garden, the views and sunset are idyllic and only made better by neighbouring friendly sheep, i would highly recommend this property for peace and quiet then book, you wont regret it.

A gem of a cottage with fabulous views and relaxation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Barn. And the name says it all, we had some fabulous sunsets. The wildlife was lovely to watch all day with the rabbits frolicking in the garden and the birds hopping all over collecting ants and other insects. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need and immaculately clean. Donna was lovely and greeted us on arrival and informed us on all the things to do and visit in the area. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks for the lovely week we stayed at your cottage.

Excellent week!

The barn is a clean, well equipped, organised place to stay in this area. Lovely outside space to enjoy. Donna is an excellent host, great welcome for us when we arrived. Ideas given for places to visit, walks, and for restaurants near by. We definitely would recommend Sunset Barn to a single person or couple for the peace and tranquillity. We had a great week!

Lovely break at beautiful location...

We had such a lovely time at this idyllic beautiful location. Donna was the perfect host and made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable. The barn is lovely and has everything thing you need, and obviously the outside seating area (both of them) are a delight. Just the sound of the birds, sheep and the occasional apple falling off the tree are all you hear.. Real peace and tranquility at a perfect holiday spot. Thanks Donna 😊

Charming escape

We had a warm welcome from Donna who took the time to let us know about the area & places to visit. The barn was perfect , very clean & Donna had provided some useful provisions. The barn is situated in a perfect position, lots of walks from the cottage & not far from the main road for further trips. The local farm shop is a must.

Very comfortable and quiet.

We stayed for 4 nights and found the barn very comfortable in a very quiet location. Donna was the perfect host. Thank you Donna for allowing us to have a BBQ with my family in the garden.

Superb hideaway

Relaxing open plan well equipped accommodation opening onto a patio and large garden and open fields . Communication with Donna the owner was excellent and she gave us a wealth of information. A great area for bike riding and visiting National Trust and RSPB. We were delighted with the property which comes with amazing open skies and sunset .

A perfect getaway

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway then the Sunset Barn is ideal! We arrived late but we were still greeted by the host Donna who couldn’t have been more helpful by answering our questions very quickly. The Sunset Barn was super clean with all the small necessities like tea and coffee etc taken care of. We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Thanks again Donna.

Great mini break

We have just returned from a lovely mini break in Sunset Barn. The cottage is a perfect size for a couple, immaculately clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. There is constant hot water and the heating warmed the rooms up really quickly when we needed it on. The outlook is beautiful and we enjoyed coffee in the garden watching the sheep in the field next door; it is in a very peaceful spot in the heart of the countryside and yet within easy reach of other places for shopping or exploring, and only 5-10 min drive from local pubs that do great food. We also sampled ale from the local brewery that do a 'drive through' on a Thursday and Friday evening! Donna was great, we booked very much at the last minute but she responded to emails really quickly and popped over to check all was well the first evening (didn't come in due to covid restrictions), she is just next door if you need her and had great tips for places to visit and eat etc. We really appreciated having some groceries left for us too. We absolutely recommend Sunset Barn for a break in this area of Norfolk.

Great location, lovely stay.

Sunset Barn is in a great place, no traffic noise, no street lights and a lovely garden for evening drinks. The owner, Donna, gave us a great welcome with all the essentials of eggs, bread, milk and butter and it was very appreciated. There are excellent road links so we were able to easily access everywhere we wanted to go.

Delightful, discreet comfortable accommodation in a beautiful rural setting.

As our first holiday since the COVID lockdown we couldn’t have chosen a better location. From the friendly welcoming host Donna and the welcome provisions provided for us, to the spotlessly clean accommodation plus the location overlooking a beautiful rural landscape it was ideal for us. Sunset Barn was comfortable and perfect for 2. Alburgh is a quiet village which suited us well. Donna is the perfect host, from the beginning we had every confidence in her when we received friendly informative messages and our queries were answered promptly and fully. Highly recommended and yes we saw sunsets whilst enjoying a quiet glass or two.

Very clean and equipped property.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was clean and airy, well equipped. Donna was very helpful, with places to visit. We were able to keep our bikes securely locked away at night. The bread, butter and eggs were enjoyed!

First time in Norfolk!

Everything we needed, all well looked after, perfect in all details. The quiet of the location a definite plus for city dwellers. Local roads also quiet. Access to other coastal areas was just right. We were able to enjoy days out with all the thrills and spills of the beach and then return to the bliss peace and quiet of Sun Set barn. The sunsets are genuine, really excellent and breathtaking. Huge thanks to Donna for making is feel so welcome: always prompt in responding to questions. A wonderful introduction to Norfolk/Suffolk coastal paths too.
