Vete Cottage är en super stuga belägen i hjärtat av Sussex landsbygden. Sympatiskt omvandlad från en tidigare kornaffär till en rymlig semester, idealisk för par som vill koppla av och utforska området. Under golvvärme nere gör fastigheten varm och mysig på de kallare vinterdagarna, och ett solrum på framsidan av fastigheten att koppla av i och ett matplats med ett modernt öppet flöde i vardagsrummet / köket. Sovrummet på övervåningen är stort, och har en super king size-säng som kan delas in i singlar om det behövs. Två åtkomstdörrar till badrummet, en från sovrummet och en från toppen av trappan. Badrummet har dusch över badet, och en handdukstork också. Denna egenskap är fortfarande som charmen och karaktären från sin ursprungliga struktur och har kombinerat den till att göra en mycket bekväm men modern inredning.

Lovely Cottage

Beautiful cottage, well furnished and fitted out to very high standard. We found it extremely comfortable and could not fault it in any way. The countryside location is attractive and wonderfully peaceful. Good pubs in local villages, close to Eastbourne and coast, with lots to see, do and walk. A great break.

Fantastic

We spent a delightful month in England and our stay at Wheat cottage contributed to our fabulous experience. Katie and Michael were responsive but not intrusive. Their description of the property is spot on. We highly recommend this VRBO listing.

Couldn’t be better

We found the cottage to be a delight. The Granary conversion had been very well designed and for a couple it could not have been better. It was very clean and well appointed and furnishes. We will be back.

Nice cottage in tranquil setting

We had great holidays in Chiddingly. Pub was reachable by public footpath, which was challenging only for a few meters. Cottage really great and spacious for a couple. Katie and Michael responded quickly to all inquiries we had, and kindly sent my forgotten jumpers back to me to Germany. Great service!

The cottage is homely, clean and peaceful . The owners are available if required and will help if they can. We enjoyed a weeks stay and if you are comfortable with driving in single track roads it is easy to reach lots of destinations. We attended a wedding and would return if we have a need to visit the location again

Country comfort

Wheat Cottage is a lovely home from home, with plenty of space to spread out. Set in the countryside, so be prepared for narrow, winding lanes. A good Tesco supermarket in Uckfield for supplies.

Just perfect

We loved Wheat Cottage. It had everything we wanted and was very comfortable. Katie welcomed us and provided excellent local information. We recommend Wheat Cottage if you want quiet, modern self-catering accommodation.

Comfort and peace

We had several reason to go to Sussex, by staying in a cottage we were free to come and go and as well as doing all that we set out to do we went for two long walks in the local area.

Croptastic!!

The two of us and our dog had a lovely stay in Wheat Cottage. The cottage is spacious, clean and modern and we would definitely recommend it. There is ample parking just outside the small, fenced garden and the property is just off a narrow but quiet road. A car is essential. The position is ideal for visiting the charming town of Lewes, the Downs, Charleston and Monk's House, Beachy Head and the Birling Gap, as well as Brighton and Eastbourne. There were also nice walks locally for our dog, including part of the Vanguard Way. Chiddingly is a five minute drive away and the Six Bells is a busy but charming pub that serves good food. Katie was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Thanks, Silvia, Kevin and Sofia the dog.

Super cottage!

My friend & I stayed in this super cottage for three nights. Lovely location with some pretty walks around the area. We had our dogs with us as we were competing at a Trial on Beachy Head. We were made very welcome & saw our host & hostess regularly who were busy putting the finishing touches to the property next door. The cottage had everything we required & we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Some good weather enabled us to sit out into the evening & have our breakfast in the front patio area. Thanks for a great stay. We didn't go out to eat at night but enjoyed the cottage with "dine in meals" . Supermarkets are not far away but you do feel as if you are miles from anywhere!!! The property was clean & very pleasant. We hope to be back next year!

Hi , myself and my partner Michael have been running the holiday cottages for 7 years. Previously, I was in the airline industry as a cabin manager.
We both have worked in France in our youth , for holiday companies , and now enjoy the delightful East Sussex life , as we are spoilt for choice with so many interesting and historic places to visit.

This property is very spacious inside , and is well equipped too. Cosy in the winter , but super in summer with a front private garden , table and chairs . The bed is very large and I am told its very comfortable , and many of our guests come back to us each year.
