Helt ny i 2016! Denna fullt möblerade 3 sovrum, 2. 5 badrum lägenhet i hjärtat av Cuenca historiska centrum, ligger bekvämt på Calle Larga bara 4 kvarter från Parque Calderon och både nya och gamla katedraler. Vi är bara 100 meter från Rio Tomebamba.

Det finns bred utsikt över nationalparken El Cajas, bergen och vi har utsikt över floden. Du kan ligga i ditt sovrum på kvällen, lyssna på floden, titta på lamporna i Cuenca och Turis kyrka. Titta upp och titta på stjärnorna genom dubbla takfönster.

Det stora sovrummet har en promenad in / gå genom garderoben till den vackert anpassade kaklat dusch. Sovrummet har en egen balkong med en terrass trädgård, vacker utsikt över staden och El Cajas nationalpark.

De två gästrummen delar ett vackert badrum med dusch. Ett sovrum dubblar som ett kontor med en bekväm neddragbar Murphy-säng med en skummadras. Lägenheten rymmer 6 - 2 queen size-sängar och en dubbelsäng.

Köket har full storlek kylskåp, kraftig gasspishäll, gasugn, mikrovågsugn och topprankad Cuisinart brödrost över och Ninja blender. Alla rätter, bestick, knivar, skålar, tallrikar och allt du behöver för att laga färska produkter som köps på 10 de Agosto Market eller Tia Market, bara några steg nerför gatan.

Granitbänkskivor, rostfritt sink och apparater. Radio för att hålla dig nöjd medan du tvättar disken med ett fönster med utsikt över orkidéträdgården.

Matsal inkluderar ett bord med platser för 6 konstruerade och byggda av Cuenca bästa möbel maker, Luriq. Inbyggd bankett för potlucks och Nilson Rea designad hjul, granit toppad ö för prep.

Spara bäst för sist: balkonger med utsikt över Rio Tomebamba ligger på varje våning. Bottenvåningen för när det regnar och den övre för privat nattglas av chilenska vin och Ecuadorean choklad. Tvättmaskinens torktumlare ligger utanför MBR-balkongen. Båda balkongerna inkluderar härligt rostfritt stål, skräddarsydda planteringsmaskiner. This condo is a 10 out of 10! I was greeted by Cecilia, who stocked the condo with an abundance of treats and food to get started with my stay. The condo is well- designed and quiet, and is in the center of the city. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

INCREDIBLE! There's not a better place to stay in the heart of Cuenca than this location. The host is absolutely amazing and prepared the most fabulous welcome for me. There was food, coffee, treats, fresh flowers and a person to meet me when I arrived. I've never had this happen before at any of the places I've stayed. The apartment overlooks the river, the city and the mountains. It's quiet, it's beautiful, it's comfortable it's heaven. There are a ton of good restaurants, bars, shopping, bakeries and food markets - everything is so close by. If you're looking for a place to stay in the center near the historic district don't miss this opportunity. I promise you you will not be disappointed. I truly hated to leave.

Fabulous condo

The condo is beautiful and in a great location in El Centro. I would highly recommend a stay at Terry's place. The property manager, Cecilia, met me at the door and showed me around. She also provided some essential food and coffee to get me started. Everything was wonderful! Thank you so much!

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location

We’ve stayed at Terry’s place 5x! It’s perfect for our needs. Everything works. Can’t beat the location. Overlooking the newer greener part of the city yet just three blocks from the Central Park. It’s an oasis of tranquility in a bustling Latin American city. Already booked for next winter!

Cannot state how much we LOVED this place! If you are considering visiting Cuenca highly recommend this townhouse. It's in a great location, in an absolutely beautiful building and has such a stunning view from both balconies. The office manager, Cecilia, was wonderful and lovely. Without too much detail, our original 13 hour plane trip ended up in a 2 day scenario due to 1 leg of our journey being delayed. Which is to say when we finally got into Cuenca we were exhausted. Cecilia loaded the townhome up with fruit, eggs, bread, beer, wine -- everything we needed to not have to go out that evening. Wonderful. The place is fully equipped, nice washer/dryer, and we loved the biodegradable products (shamppo, conditioner, body soap, laundry products, dish/hand soap). Absolutely one of the best accomodations we've had.

Great place in a great location!!

The title says it all. Up on the cliff between the lower south side which is newer, wider streets and sidewalks and the historic district. Three blocks to the Central Park, a block to an incredible fresh food market. Close to pretty much everything. This was the third time we rented this apartment and we’ve already booked it for next winter.

Roomy modern condo with a convenient location

We had a wonderful stay for a month in Cuenca. The property manager, Cecelia, was very helpful, providing beautiful flowers, delicious chocolates, some refrigerator items, and a notebook with restaurant recommendations and reviews. This condo is in a prime location, within walking distance to so many restaurants, museums, and the historic town square. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and the beds were comfortable. From the master bedroom, we had a terrific view of the city and mountains. It was great to have enough space to entertain guests who came for a short visit.

Perfect Location with Fantastic Views

The condo is modern, well- equipped, and located in a perfect spot to walk to Museums, the old town of Cuenca, shopping and too many great restaurants to count. Cecilia, the property manager, is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. We have already booked another stay for 2024.

excellent condo

This is our 3rd stay at this wonderful condo. It is a great location, four blocks from main square plus it looks out over the river. It is a spot of tranquility with a very bustling city right outside the complex's entry door. It's comfortable, everything works. The building manager is very responsive to questions. Good info package. We've already booked for next year.

Living in Cuenca

Location, location, location. The condo is just as advertised and is located in the historic section of Cuenca so we walked everywhere. The view from the master bedroom is spectacular, especially for the New Year Eve fireworks. Cecilia, the property manager was super accommodating and promptly met all our needs during our month long stay. . Highly recommend this property. Chet

Perfect home away in Cuenca

We loved staying here for the few weeks we were in Cuenca. It felt like home away from home. Perfect location to historic district but also a quick walk to the other side of the river with other supermarkets and restaurants. We can’t say enough good things about this place!

An Oasis in Cuenca!

This apartment kicks butt! Beautifully furnished, sparkling clean, killer views. The attention to detail is what sets this place apart from any others I've rented. Terry, the host, was a pleasure to deal with and the on-site manager, Cecilia, greeted us with gifts: Ecuadorian coffee, fresh-baked bread, a dozen eggs and speciality chocolates to die for. AND two dozen red roses and gladiolas, too. Plus she was always available to answer our questions and offer suggestions about the area. Cecilia, you rock! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll want for cooking and entertaining. I especially appreciated the basics being supplied to get us started: paper products, dish soap, laundry detergent, olive oil, spices, and butter. There's even a lemon tree and little herb garden on the patio where a playful green hummingbird comes around every day. (I've named him Basil) :-) The king -size bed is super comfortable, the linens good quality, and the towels plush. The showers always had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Weekly cleaning service was provided, too. Oh, did I mention the awesome views from the living room and master bedroom? Well, you'll see! Just a block away is a huge mercado where we bought our fresh veggies and fruits and the Super Maxi Market is just a short taxi ride away. Very convenient. The Parque Calderon is an easy walk from the front door with plenty of restaurants and stores in between. We always felt safe in this neighborhood both day and night. Behind the apartment are steps leading down to the paved walking path along the Rio Tomebamba. A very pleasant walk with restaurants and museums lining the way. No place is ever perfect, but this one comes pretty darn close. In fact, I can't really think of a thing to improve upon. Grab this place if you can. Cuenca is a lovely city. Enjoy your stay!

Great spot for long term exchanges in Cuenca

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Cuenca is a great city with lots of things to do. We were warmly welcomed by the property manager when we arrived. The condo is excellent with beautiful views of the Rio Tomebamba and southern Cuenca. Nice people in the complex too. We hope to stay again in the coming years.

Great place to begin a visit to Equador

This is a very modern complex with many friendly and sharing people living here in addition to the property manager. This unit is roomy with a fantastic view from the master bedroom.

Retired computer programmer and world travelers. Settled in Cuenca and spend the winter there. The rest of the time we live in another paradise, Ashland, OR. We also rent out rooms in this center of Shakespeare/Hiking/Good dining/and enjoyment.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We first came to Cuenca on a trip to Ecuador (Galapagos, Amazon Rainforest, Highlands and Cuenca) in 2007. We stayed with the developer's family in 2009 in their apartment building just down the street from where we are now. At the end of that time, we asked to be kept up to date on new developments, especially on the barranca or river valley of the Tomebamba.

In 2014 we got an email from the developer's wife, saying there was this place on Calle Larga and were we interested? Yes indeed! We expressed our interest with an offer on one of the few remaining apartment (the developer had been featured in the New York Times for the Juan Jaramillo apartment/remodel).

Offer accepted and we are here. It was more work finding furnishings and everything to live with in Cuenca, but I think, when you see our place, you'll say it was worth it.

Cuenca is unlike any other city and Ecuador, UNESCO World Heritage Site, is unlike any other country (in our experience of 50+ countries). Great climate, wonderful restaurants, beautiful walks along safe streets and the river just behind our apartment and nice Ecuadorean people. 'Nuf said.
