- SEA GULL COTTAGE - ligger Ocean Front på Mile efter 17. 5 på Beach Road i underbara South Nags Head.

Vår privata styrelse garanterar dig en plats i sanden utan att någon sitter ovanpå dig.

En gyllene sandstrand som kyssas vid Atlanten ligger bara en kort promenad på egen spårväg.

Njut av den magnifika Outer Banks soluppgången från detta bekväma strandhus.

Sea Gull har 6 sovrum och 3 badrum och rymmer upp till 20 personer på tre nivåer.

Huset har ett välutrustat kök och ett rymligt matsal. Utanför matsalen, är en stor veranda med möbler för uteservering också.

Den luftiga vardagsrummet finns en TV med DVD-spelare.

Övre våningen är också där du hittar tillgång till däck, och skärmad i veranda,
Njut av att koppla av i din privata swimmingpool. (öppet från APRIL 15 till SEPT 30, 2019)

Ha lite familjen kul på den fullstora Foosball-bordet.

Utanför är en sluten dusch, kolgrill för grillning dina favoriter.

Great location and property

Very easy access to the beach. The property and pool were clean and well kept. The kitchen was also very well stocked making preparing meals at the house very simple during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Spring Break 2025

Great location, lots of space. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Nice space for the dogs. GREAT views of the sunrise. Close to a lot of places to eat and things to do. Highly recommend!

Valentines Day Trip

Took the family and dog. Nice place. very spacious and comfortable. Close to the ocean for walking and many choices for fun stuff to do and restaurants recommend showing up before dark. definitely would go back.

November beach trips with pups

My husband, I, and our 2 pups stayed for a extra long weekend at the sea gull cottage and we really enjoyed our stay! We love obx and It was our pups first time at the beach and they loved it as well! Close to everything, clean and as described! Would recommend!

Great house for a large family or two families

The house was adequate. It doesn't have that awe factor, but it definitely not a dump. In my opinion, it is ready for some repairs, minor touch ups and TLC. However, it is a beach house. It is perfect for families with kids with plenty of bedrooms. If a minor incident happen inside the residence, I seriously doubt it would be noticed, because it is not in pristine condition.

Perfect week on the beach

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect. I enjoyed seeing the sunrise every morning from the back deck. There was plenty of room for all of us and the multiple decks gave everyone there space to read a book, do yoga or listen to music! Great experience!

Beautiful sunrises!

Easy walk to the beach and the house was very nice. I only wish one of the patios faced the beach. The only one that did was screened in and sat low so there was no view. The nicest balcony faced the parking lot. The pool was lovely and we were in a perfect location.

We had such a wonderful time...

Even though it was stormy it was a great time! There was plenty of room for all our people and 6 dogs! I loved the porches and having the fenced in place was wonderful for the dogs! The beach was just a short walk away with a walk way for most of the way. The pool was great with plenty of seating area for those good pool days.

EXCELLENT PROPERTY! FABULOUS WEEKEND

Stayed for the weekend of my Birthday. Location was great as its oceanfront with a quick walk to the beach. This is an older house but for the most part well kept. Kids loved the pool table. My only complaint would be that its loud having the pool table up on the top floor but i see why they did it to get more beds in the house. Have been going to the Outer Banks for years and love it down there. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect House -- Amazingly clean

Everything about this house was perfect from location to cleanliness. I am a clean freak and it was spotless. House was well outfitted too with everything you need in the kitchen to extra blankets. Will rent again. Manager was super responsive. Highly recommend.

Great location

Location can’t be beat. Communication with the property manager was clear and easy. The house is very comfortable. It seems to still be undergoing some renovation but what’s done is really nice. One challenge we had was that sand had blown over the walkway so access to the beach wasn’t as easy as it could be. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Our Founder, Dr. Sarah Forbes passed away in 2011. She was a compassionate physician, dedicated to her patients becoming Norfolk General’s first female chief resident of OB/GYN.
In 1958, she became the first female physician to open a private OB/GYN practice in Newport News, VA.
Dr. Forbes was the first woman to be selected to the board, and the first female president, of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula, where she was honored as a member of the “Wall of Fame” – the first and only woman to be so honored in the club’s 65-year history.

Sarah was often honored for her contributions to the organizations she served, and the community she loved.
Among her many awards were the Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities’ Humanitarian Award in 2007, and the Medallion Award which is the highest recognition presented by The Boys and Girls Club of America to volunteers.

She served as president of several community organizations that include the Virginia Peninsula Academy of Medicine, the Newport News Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, and the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Her generosity benefited many organizations, including the Cancer Society, the Newport News Medical Society, the Peninsula Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Family Planning Council, First Baptist Church of Newport News, the Peninsula SPCA, Mariners’ Museum, Riverside Hospital, and Christopher Newport University.

We are continuing Dr. Forbes’ Legacy
All of our vacation homes are owned by Sarah E. Forbes MD, Trust which continues her legacy by using our profits to make regular donations to the charities she loved.
We take care of the houses like she would have wanted.
