Wir sind als vierköpfige Familie verreist. Unsere Kinder sind 3 und 9 Jahre alt. Da unser Junior noch nicht ohne Rausfallschutz schlafen kann und es leider keinen solchen gibt, haben wir kurzerhand das Doppelbett und das normale Bett zusammengeschoben. Die „Ritze“ die relativ groß war haben wir mit Kissen ausgelegt, was wunderbar funktioniert hat. Unsere Große hat komfortabel viel Platz auf der Aufziehcouch gehabt.Das Apartment ist ausreichend groß und mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Es war sehr sauber und alle dort waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir Fragen hatten wurde umgehend darauf reagiert.Die Lage ist super ein Tesco Markt ist ganz in der Nähe (5 Minuten zu Fuß) und wenn man mobil ist, dann ist ein Aldi (der deutlich günstiger ist) in knapp 10 Minuten Autofahrt erreichbar.Direkt vor der Tür ist eine Bushaltestelle, man ist in knapp 25 Minuten in Dublin City und hat keinen Stress mit der Parkplatzsuche. Also alles in allem wirklich sehr gut. Wir können es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und werden auch sicher selbst wieder kommen!
Sogar einen kleinen Ostergruß gab es für uns vier. Das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam und die Kinder haben sich sehr gefreut

Appartement mit großer Wohnküche, Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten, Bad groß und funktional, aber nicht mehr ganz neu. Sehr hilfsbereite Vermieter, die auf Fragen sehr schnell reagieren. Gute Infrastruktur mit Bus, Tram, Supermarkt gleich in der Nähe. Gut geeignet für eine Woche Dublin mit Familie.

Wonderful Place to Stay

The accommodations were great for 5 people. It was a little crowded and shared 1 bath but we stayed only 5 nights and we did not spend much time in the apartment so we were fine. It was very nice to have a washing machine. Very convenient bus trip to the town center. The hosts were excellent and helped with transportation to the airport.

Location and accommodation was okay

Location of the accommodation was okay. Only the some lights didn't work and one curtain you could close because parts are missing. in the kitchen was also no curtain to make it dark in so it's getting light very early in the summer. but further it was clean. Only thing we had was the last night we had to leave early some drunk people forgot there key and waked us up so they could get in to there location. So i was a really short night to get to the airport. The driver Rory that was arranged is super!! really nice guy helped us into the location. He picked us up early to bring us to the airport. He was alway's on time great guy.

Eine schöne Ferienwohnung mit ein paar Mankos

Die Ferienwohnung ist groß genug auch für 5 Personen, allerdings müssen dann 2 Personen auf einem unbequemen Schlafsofa schlafen. Das Bad ist sehr schön und war sauber, nur funktioniert der Boiler für die Dusche nicht wie er sollte. Entweder es kommt viel zu heißes oder ungeheiztes Wasser; die Armatur hat darauf gar keinen Einfluss. Die Wohnung liegt nicht weit weg von einem Park und die Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür, während die nächste Lua-Station (Blackhorse) ca. 5-10 Gehminuten entfernt liegt. Ob einen die Straße vor der Tür stört ist Ansichtssache; nur in der Rush Hour morgens ist dort viel Verkehr. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, auch wenn der Herd nur schlecht heizt (mit dem Heißwasser-Kocher geht es aber).

Comfortable, clean,and convenient

Spacious 1 bedroom apt with living rm,dining area, kitchen, washer,dryer,and kitchen on 2nd level. Stairs. Double and single bed. Apt is clean and comfortable and convenient to public transportation. Owners very responsive and helpful,makes for wonderful stay in Dublin.

Great place to stay!

Lovely apartment and everybody we met and talked to was extremely helpful (Grainne, Valerie, Rory). We spent almost one week in the apartment and felt absolutely comfortable. Which was more than appreciated since we were on a business trip and had a busy schedule. Have to admit that leaving was kind of sad! P.S. Valerie, sorry for the misunderstanding with the keys, I was a little anxious about the upcoming meeting and wasn't really thinking... Thanks for waiting for us!

Going the extra mile.

This was our 4th stay at the Tigh Tirconnaill apartments, and this time with extended family members, we rented the 4 apartments in the updated Victorian red brick property . Grainne and Tim arranged the multiple airport pick ups and departures (Rory was extremely helpful) and provided enough linens and towels for our group of sixteen. With the bus stop across the street and the nearby LUAS station, you don't need a car, although if you arrive with one the gated parking lot behind the apartment is very secure. All 4 families were very happy with the accommodations, and the well-equipped kitchens which allowed us to prepare and serve dinner for 16 on Good Friday. We will rent these apartments again when we return to Dublin.

Brilliant

Had a brilliant night in the upstairs apartment when two of my friends and I came to Dublin for a concert. The apartment was very spacious and modern. We took the train from Kerry and were able to get to the apartment on the luas which was very cheap and efficient . Valeria greeted us on arrival and we knew we were in good hands. She was very helpful with all out questions and recommended restaurants and bars for us to visit. We were able to get in and out of town on the luas which was only a two minute walk from the apartment . We were also able to get to the 3 arena on the luas which is where the concert was taking place. The land lords were very quick to reply to any of our queries. Overall it was a wonderful stay and the location was brilliant. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Dublin already
