Detta nyligen renoverade centrala hus ligger på ett fantastiskt läge inom 2 minuters promenad från floden Ouse och centrum. Interiören är möblerad till mycket hög standard. Sky TV med Sky Sports och TV med Freeview i 3 sovrum på övervåningen. TV i sovrummet med våningssängar har en DVD-spelare.

Beautiful property

Perfect position, great facilities, although we couldnt work out the heating and teens room a tad squishy. Super comfy beds and great ahowers! Overall a lovely base for our short stay in York with parking out front and a quiet strret.

Short Trip to York

Perfect spot to stay when visiting York, easy to walk into town and enjoy the city. Home had all the functionality you need and the space to relax after walking round the city.

Perfect place to stay

Lovely house, very nicely decorated / furnished and very spacious and cosy - the pictures don’t really do it justice. Fantastic location right in the city centre, good comms with the host, everything was as described - would highly recommend

Family weekend in York

The house was perfect for us. Grandparents, parents and 2 kids. Beautiful inside. Had everything we needed. Easy and very short walk into the city centre. Owners very helpful.

New Year stay

The photos of this property do not do it justice, it is beautiful. The decor and all the finishes are outstanding. We had every convenience we could need. Sharon was also very helpful and an excellent host considering all our contact was virtual. I would recommend this property as a great base to explore York.

Wonderful accommodation

We had a fantastic three days here for new year, the house is very comfortable warm and clean there is everything that you need and more. The location is perfect for visiting York.

Great stay

The property is in a fantastic location, well within walking distance of the city, and it was great to have parking for two cars. One was on site, the other in a residential area. There was great communication with the host and we loved our time in the area. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby as well as local shops. We can't recommend York enough and the Ghost Keeper walk was superb, well worth doing.

We are a family of 4. Two children aged 10 (girl) and boy 6. We live in Formby Liverpool. My husband is originally from York, hence our love of the beautiful city.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We have looked for the right property for over 10 years and eventually found this gem. It is situated inbetween the Bishophill area of York which is an up and coming area attracting many independent shops and restaurants and bars and the City Centre. The house is extremely comfortable. Since purchasing the property in November 2015 we have completely overhauled the property including roof, heating, electricity, kitchen, bathrooms, carpets etc etc. This property wasn't furnished with the intention of a holiday let but for a second home. Since my son has started to play cricket at weekends and we can not visit as often as usual we have decided to let the house.
