Serene Retreat on a Peaceful Cove

Vackert, uppdaterat rustik-modernt sjöhus på en av de bästa vikarna på Cedar Creek Lake. Fastigheten ligger på nästan en tunnland i en lugn cul-de-sac. En skuggad och inhägnad trädgård på 1/2 tunnland gör ett perfekt utrymme för bekymmersfria barn och föräldrar.

Förutom de tre sovrummen (två drottningar och en kung) finns det också två drottningsuppblåsbara sängar, en utdragbar bäddsoffa, ett vardagsrums soffa och en litet säng i badrummet.

Söderläge bakgård betyder mindre brus och vind. Täckt uteplats med eldstad och utomhusgrill ger allt du behöver för en fantastisk familjesammanträde.

Oavsett om du tar med dig en båt eller inte, gör vår brygga, som ligger i en skyddad vik, det lätt för alla att koppla av - antingen in eller ut ur vattnet. Njut av de bästa fiske- och vattensporterna på det djupa vattnet i södra änden. Eller ta med dina flickvänner för en shoppingshelg i Kanton!

Året runt erbjuder fastigheten en plats för avkoppling och en lugn plats att ansluta till.

Awesome Church Youth Retreat!

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had a really good experience. Our youth was able to do water activities, such as fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating…plenty of room for everyone. Had a great time!

Another great family vacay

This is the second year we have stayed at this location. Another great experience! Lots of family memories made!Spent lots of time on the dock fishing or just relaxing. Lots of fish caught!!Our family loves this place and we will be back next summer.

The property was more impressive in person than the photos could depict. It's in a beautiful location on a peaceful finger of the lake, protected from the wind and chop on the larger part of the lake. Our group was three couples of old friends who stayed in the home during a holiday weekend. It was so nice sitting on the covered back patio enjoying the lake view and the sound of families playing and laughing together. If I didn't want a lake house before, I certainly do now! The living room was spacious and provided a great place for old friends to catch up. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kayaks, but the dock was a great place to spend a morning or evening fishing and taking in the peaceful environment. (Not that I caught anything...) The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals together, and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The home was very clean and well kept. It rained almost 3" during the first day of our visit, and there was a little leak down the inside of one window in the master. When I notified the owner, she was quick to respond and thanked me for telling her. The leak posed no issue to our stay, I was more worried about damage to the home. I mention it because I was so impressed with the owner's very positive response and concern for our stay. If I can find another time when we're all available I'll certainly return for another reunion. I highly recommend for couples and families!

Peaceful Getaway

We loved our weekend stay at this home. It is has comfy beds and furniture, good water pressure, and plenty of linens. It has a very well equipped kitchen. Overall It feels much more like staying in a friend's home rather than in a vacation rental. The neighborhood is quiet, the lake is great for paddling (we took our kayaks) the views out the back are lovely and even in cool weather you can have a cozy lake visit with the firepit on the porch or the fireplace inside. This is a great spot.

Truly Serene and Peaceful

We truly enjoyed our stay. We were greeted with a welcome basket filled with goodies. The property is located on a beautiful and peaceful cove, so there were not loud boats or jet skis going back and forth in front. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need. We caught fish, which made everyone extremely happy. April was extremely helpful and communicated promptly. Thank you for a wonderful mini vacay!

Beautiful Setting and Comfortable House

This property has a beautiful setting with many mature trees, a spacious lawn and a very nice lake view. The yard is fenced, which is great if you have small children. There is a large patio where the views can be enjoyed, especially sunsets! The house has a large living room with huge windows overlooking the lawn and the lake, furnished comfortably and tastefully. The kitchen is efficient and roomy and fully equipped. The master bedroom & bath are large and well appointed; the other bedrooms are a little small but very tidy. We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect place to stay!!

We loved our week long stay here! I don't think there's anything I would have changed. The house was very roomy and open and never felt crowded. The kitchen had labels on the drawers and cabinets so it made finding things a breeze. The backyard was huge and completely fenced so we never had to worry about kids going where there weren't supposed to. The dock was plenty big enough to tie up our 22' boat. It is located in a quiet cove in a no wake zone so no worries about the children swimming off the dock. Lots of stores/restaurants within 15 minutes to get anything you may need. We would definitely stay here again!!

End of summer family lake trip

Perfect location for our family get together. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids. The bunkroom gave the kids a place away from the adults for games and hanging out. The location on the cove was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding without a lot of boat traffic.

Great for Family

The back yard and dock are great for young kids through grandparents. All our day time is spent on the water. Only used the house for sleeping and showering, it was comfortable at the end of a fun day.

Wonder place. Plenty of beds. A bunk room that doubled as a play room. Beautiful view. Access to swim in the lake. Great covered porch to sit on and relax. Everything you need.

Fishing was amazing!

The house just right for our needs and was in a great fishing spot! The host was quick to fix some small things and get the house ready for our 4 day weekend. We made forever memories and couldn’t be happier! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Best Stay ever!

This is our fourth year in a row booking at cedar creek lake and And this location is by far the best location er have stayed at!! The host was very attentive and answered all the calls right away. The house was very clean and right on the lake as promised! Beautiful house, wonderful host. Would highly recommend!!

PERFECT WEEKEND GETAWAY!

House was clean and cozy. The Bunk room was great for the kids and the dock was perfect for swimming and fishing. We would stay here again.

Cousins Trip

We took our 8 grandkids, ages 9-18, to the lake for the week. Everything was great. Kitchen had everything I needed to prepare meals. Kids loved playing in the lake with the kayaks and paddle boards. We had a great time. This property was great for our family n

Family reunion

Perfect Place for our Family Vacay

Our family has stayed at several VRBOs on Cedar creek.We have finally found our favorite...perfect location on a quiet cove. our grandchildren range in age from 17 to 24 and the bunkroom was perfect for them. We found everything we needed in the kitchen...all of it labeled. Plenty of storage for food and extras we brought in the laundryroom. Two refrigerators were very helpful. We enjoyed the deck during the day and at night. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. The paddleboards and kayaks were used alot. We enjoyed meeting the great neighbors and their pups. Great times and memories were had by all. We will definitely be back. Thank you April for your hospitality.

We were so thrilled to find this beautiful, almost 1-acre home a little over an hour southeast of Dallas. It has brought our family and friends great joy and a place for retreat, rest and restoration. The large back yard, quiet cove and peaceful dock creates year round restoration. We are excited to share it with others on weekends we can't be here!

Varför värden valde detta boende

We looked at lots and lots of homes on this lake (and others) before buying. We wanted a quiet cove where kids could jump in and play without us worrying about open water. We love the large backyard and many trees, which offers fun play and plenty of shade! Lastly, the previous owner did an amazing job renovating, including a stone fireplace which we love in the winter and a 200 sq ft covered backyard with fire pit that is used year round.
