Boka nu för vintersäsongen. Beläget i den charmiga byn Government Camp, en liten skidstad på Mt. Huva, du är nära alla bekvämligheter och utomhusaktiviteter. Stugan ligger på ett lugnt trädbevuxen parti över vägen från toppmötet och några minuter från Skibowl, Timberline Lodge och Mt. Hood Meadows - alla bara 58 mil från Portland.

Med exponerade timmerväggar, välvda tak och dekor med nordväst tema överallt har detta hem känslan av en alpin stuga samtidigt som den är den perfekta storleken för små grupper.

En skräddarsydd bankett och matbord ger en plats för gästerna att umgås och bygga eld medan måltiderna förbereds. Köket är välfylld med nya apparater och finish. Det finns en kaffebryggare och fransk press så att kaffeälskare kan packa ljus.

Det finns två soffor och TV-zoner, en ligger på loftet med utsikt över köket och matplatsen och ett mer avskilt alternativ nedan i källaren. Inträdet på den nivån ger ett enkelt sätt in för livsmedel och en säker plats för ditt äventyrsredskap.

Det finns två sovrum på bottenvåningen som har drottningssängar med handgjorda sänggavlar utformade av ägarna till stugan - båda har belysning och ett huvudgavel har till och med inbyggda uttag. En annan queen size-säng på loftet har lite mindre integritet, men kompenserar det med närhet till badtunnan och loft-TV. Mellan de tre bäddarna finns det plats för sex gäster.

Sidan verandan är en fantastisk plats att umgås och tända gasgrillen. På en klar dag kan du njuta av en varm kakao i de anpassade moderna Adirondack-stolarna och topp-a-boo-utsikten över bergstoppen. När stjärnorna kommer ut, ta ett bad i badtunnan och njut av utsikten från balkongen utanför loftet.

Wonderful winter getaway

We loved the cabin. It was clean and had a good layout for multiple families. The beds were comfortable. The road and driveway were plowed but it snowed a lot during our stay so we were grateful we had 4 wheel drive. We only wish it was on the other side of Hwy 26 so we could walk into government camp.

Family ski weekend

Beautiful, immaculate, cozy cabin ; compact floorplan leaves with lots of space for a family getaway with kids close to town amenities and ski slopes. Everything you need for a great getaway!

It is on a quiet street with other cabins nearby. The cabin is decorated with ski/ snowboard/ mt hood decorum, giving it a ski lodge vibe. We loved playing board fans games and watching movies in the loft. This cabin is perfect for families with older children. We brought two teenagers.

Great Mountain Escape!

Great mountain cabin! We loved the location. We were able to walk to the ski shuttle to Timberline Resort. Always feel like it is a true vacation when we do not have to get into our car!

Great cabin in great location

We stay in Government Camp every year at this time but first time at this location. It’s a nice place in a convenient and quiet location. Some sort of cable or satellite TV would be nice considering the rental cost, but I suppose you could bring a PC and stream too. Anyway, no complaints and dog friendly is a definite bonus!

New Years Fun

My family ended up not feeling well so we didn’t do as much exploring but we loved the house and hot tub. I felt very safe walking alone in the area as well. I would love to return when everyone is healthy.

Peaceful and relaxing

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cabin. We found it to be a peaceful and relaxing place to recoup. The kitchen we was well equipped, the bedrooms were cozy and the hot tub was just what we needed. The only note I’d like to add is that the fireplace is a bit small. The property management will provide an “introductory amount of wood” so you’ll need to source firewood elsewhere if you want to have much of a fire going. The wood they sell in town was too long for the fireplace so you’ll want to bring a saw to cut it down in length. We would definitely come back!

Government Camp House

Overall the house is very nice, but if you have a large group or family the kitchen is extremely small in my opinion to work in. No dishwasher as well! Pulling out of house onto main road can be difficult, not the easiest house access, but neighborhood is quiet!! Hot tub is located on the third floor. Communication with manager wasn't horrible but it also was not guest friendly!! Two times during the trip we had people walk into house without warning!!! Upon departure, you have to take the key back to rental agencies , if you are not headed that way, it adds a hour to leaving!!

Gorgeous Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was absolutely gorgeous in the decor. It was elegant and really wonderful. The hot tub was lovely as well! The only problem we had was the house had a swarm of carpenter ants which was a bit treacherous. They overtook the house and could be found crawling up in the loft on the carpet where they blended in and then all over the balcony where the hot tub was and all inside the house on walls and on the kitchen counter. These suckers were not only relentless but they also were huge (close to an inch long in some instances). You could see their giant mandibles!!! We slept uneasy knowing that they were crawling everywhere.Pam from All Season Rental brought out traps and also placed down lavender oils around the entrances which helped a bit, but it was still not the experience we were hoping at the end of the day. We ended up staying for 2 nights because of the hot tub and didn't enjoy the hassle of moving to a new place mid stay (though it was kindly offered). If they figure out the situation with those ants, this place would be ACES. They definitely have a keen eye with a top notch design aesthetic: Pendleton pillows, buffalo plaid, and midcentury mix.

Great cabin but no hot water!!

Our first impression of the cabin was that we absolutely loved it. It’s very comfortable, clean and perfect for our ski weekend. However, four hours in we realized that we did not have any hot water and in the process of testing various faucets, water quickly started leaking through the basement ceiling onto all of my children’s clothing.We contacted the host immediately and learned that the upstairs shower needed to be recaulked. Realizing that wouldn’t be resolved during our stay, we decided the whole family would just use the downstairs bathroom. No biggie – except we still had no hot water. The mgmt company said they'd send someone out in the morning, however it wasn’t until around 4:45 PM that day that the person actually came. My in-laws waited in the cabin all day for them. It was working by 6pm – while we were out at dinner – and was not working again in the morning. Needless to say we didn’t use the hot tub since we couldn’t shower afterwards. The only solution offered by the host was to drive down the street to shower at another rental host.We washed dishes by hand in cold water (there was no dishwasher in the unit as described). I realize that plumbing issues happen at rentals, but I’ve never had an issue like this were it was simply not resolved until the stay was almost over and such poor communication from the management company.

Perfect vacation rental in a ski town

This high-end cabin offers varied sleeping options but the bedrooms are on the small side, so luggage storage might overwhelm the space. The rear balcony backs up to the forest, but the hot tub takes up most of the space, so outdoor seating there is very much limited. Renters should check the condition of the hot tub as soon as they check in (it hadn't been property maintained prior to our visit and wasn't usable). The side porch offers plenty of seating options but is shaded due to the overhang and the forest. Inside was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. Great design and construction!

Great Cabin

We rented this cabin in the summer as a base to explore Mount Hood and go hiking. Location is fantastic; we hiked Old Salmon River and had dinner at the Timberline Lodge. The cabin is very cute and well equipped; we cooked breakfast in. Cabin layout was great for our needs; we would stay again. Note if staying in summer the loft gets really warm.

Great cabin ....

Mostly great. Nice location. Lovely cabin. Internet never worked and it appears to be a recurring issue. Also, the driveway never gets plowed, for some reason. So be prepared to shovel your way to and from your car to the home. But it's a lovely, cozy cabin. Great place to stay.

Weekend getaway for hiking and relaxing

Beautiful property grill worked fabulous hot tub was wonderful after a long day of hiking perfect location to trails and falls only thing that could have been better was if there was grill tools which i couldn’t find had ice pre made had a griddle for breakfast had a coffee maker and ample cups for drinks super beautiful patio w swing definitely want to come back for longer next time and with a bigger group
