Stora Guest House ligger i staden Fish Creek

Vårt hem ligger nära "Top of the Hill Shops" i Fish Creek. Vi byggde vårt hem 2016 med avsikt att rymma stora eller flera familjer. Vi är bekvämt beläget på toppen av kullen i norra änden av Fish Creek.
Hemmet ligger inom gångavstånd från alla Fish Creek med enkel tillgång till Fish Creek Beach och Peninsula State Park.

Hemmet har en öppen konceptdesign med ett stort underhållande område samt 5 sovrum och 3 badrum

En våning med golvbeskrivning:

Första våningen:
Öppet koncept Vardagsrum med öppen spis, matsal, fullt utrustat kök med stor ö med plats för 10 personer samt ett stort matbord. Även på bottenvåningen hittar du 2 sovrum med badrum.

Andra våningen:
Öppen trappa och balkong med utsikt över vardagsrummet, två sovrum med badrum.

Lägre nivå:
Den lägre nivån har en TV / Rec rum samt ett 5: e sovrum (våningssäng rum) och badrum.

Utanför:
Vi är väldigt mycket glada över det stora omslaget runt däck. Den främre veranda är täckt som sveper runt till sidan av huset till ett soldäck. Däcket är fullt möblerat för avkoppling i slutet av dagen för att reflektera över den stora dagen du bara hade i Door County. Solnedgången innehåller två picknickbord för att njuta av eftermiddags solen eller njuta av dina måltider ute.

Vi har också en grilldäck som håller en gasgrill och grillbord.

Strax utanför däck har vi en utomhusbrandpit komplett med bänkar.

Ladies Get-away

A group of 7 ladies who play Maj Jongg and golf together. The Lawler house was fantastic in several ways. The location cannot be beat. Plenty of beds for everyone to have their own bed. Ample stock of towels, kitchen accessories, living room seating- two picnic tables for outdoor eating and a great fire pit. The gas fireplace took the chill out every morning. The house was very clean. Make sure you bring toilet paper and bath toiletries as they are not provided, which is unfortunate. Otherwise it was a great place to stay. We were fortunate enough to see the northern lights from the front porch. Awesome week!

Family vacation

The house was wonderful. I booked it for my family--me and my husband, two adult children with spouses and a four year old. It was more than big enough for all of us. Three full bathrooms (and they are on the large side) was a plus for us. Huge kitchen with everything we needed. Location great--easy walking into Fish Creek and drivable to everywhere. Nice fire pit that we used for smores making. Big porch with plenty of seating for all. Ample parking. Would recommend this for any gathering. Check in was very easy with a code to the door. Communication with Greg was timely and thorough. We three couples and a 4 year old and a two night visit of another single person had privacy and more than enough room for us all. This was great for us because we had weather that was overcast and a couple days of rain so we spent more time at the house than we had planned. Having the large kitchen island was a plus--we could easily eat there when we had a jigsaw puzzle spread out on the dining table! Would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation in Door County

This property is truly as advertised. Our family of eleven had a fantastic week staying at the Lawler Blue. Clean, well stocked, very comfortable for all of us. They even had a high chair and baby gate for the one set of open stairs. The kitchen was well equipped and fun to cook in. The "extras" here included an extra full size fridge and an extra washer/dryer in the basement. The wrap around porch was a family favorite as well. We highly recommend!

Adult friends getaway

5 couples stayed to cross-country ski and snowshoe. The weather was warm so only hiking. We stayed to watch the superbowl and had a great time!

Cousins get away

This house is one of our most favorite we have rented. The layout of the house worked great for our group and it was very well stocked and clean. We appreciated the instructions that were thorough and detailed. The Christmas decor continued the festive mood. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend.

Family weekend

Great house, good location. Large kitchen and great room. Plenty of room for our family. Very well stocked with towels, dishes, pots/pans and two refrigerators. Only complaint would be very uncomfortable beds. We all agreed that we would love to come back but the beds were rough.

Fish Creek is the place to be

The house is very spacious, plenty of room for a large gathering. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and had dressers and closets. One of the best features of the house was the wrap-around porch. The kids especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. The only real complaints about the house itself was that the cupboards had way too much stuff in them. A thorough clean-out by the owners would be a great idea. Also, the beds were not comfortable and made a lot of noise when you sat on them or turned over. All in all a nice place to visit, especially the location. Very walkable to downtown Fish Creek and very centrally located to all of Door County.

Fish Creek Fun

The House was in a great location, quiet, close to the things we wanted to do. Living area was great for our group and we could all sit and talk. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the outside space as the nicest day was the day we had to leave! The porch area is huge.

Wonderful Stay in Fish Creek

We loved the house , and we agree it was the best equipped home we’ve ever stayed at. Perfect location between Door County towns, and we were able to walk easily to downtown Fish Creek. The hot water heater was super quick, and the porch was wonderful for our grandchildren to play on. Due to my breast cancer in 2019 and the pandemic in 2020, it was our first family ( 17 of us ) vacation in three years. The property owner did not send our check-in information after my requests for the information 2 days and one day before we arrived, but we still enjoyed our vacation immensely.

Would stay again

It was a girls getaway and we had a blast. We loved the large open space of kitchen and living room. The Alexa was a bonus to have music on demand...not going to lie, we did even dance a bit. The huge island and chairs in the kitchen was the hub of many great conversations and laughs. The beds were more comfortable than I expected. I’m very picky about cleanliness and I was happy that the house was very clean. FYI I did miss the note in the welcome letter stating that some supplies are not provided like toilet paper, paper towels, & tissues. Also the hand soap was just about empty. Overall it was a great place to stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The location is perfect.

Perfect!!

The house and the owners were absolutely wonderful. Greg has great communication and everything was very easy and clear before we even arrived. Upon arrival we were in awe of the house and it’s even better than the pictures!! It has a ton of room and is the perfect place to stay for any getaway! We definitely would love to come stay here again.

Awesome Stay

We loved our stay in Fish Creek. We booked winery tours ahead of time and this property was a short drive to all of them. Everyone who stayed raved about the size of the house and loved the setup. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Door county.

Perfect Door County Getaway

This property is perfect for a large group of people! We booked the Lawler Guest House for a weekend getaway with 10 girlfriends and it did not disappoint. The house has plenty of spaces, both inside and outside, that allowed us to all gather together as a group and enjoy one another's company. The number of bedrooms and beds also let everyone have their own space to sleep comfortably. We especially loved the large wrap-around porch, the table in the kitchen and the benches around the fire. Greg was super easy to communicate with and was quick to answer emails when I had questions prior to our stay. The location is ideal - not right downtown Fish Creek but definitely within walking distance of Peninsula State Park and all the stops/restaurants. We were already planning a trip back next fall before we even checked out.

Girls Weekend Getaway

The Lawler house could not have been more perfect for the 10 of us girls to get away for the weekend! The property was close walking distance to downtown Fish Creek and Peninsula State Park even though we never wanted to leave the house. It had all the amenities you could ask for - gas grill, fire pit, satellite tv, a wireless speaker, cooking utensils and so on. We had more than enough room to fit all 10 of us with plenty of linens and towels. This place is a must stay for any future get together in Door County!!
