Awesome Lake Cottage

The second year we’ve booked for Labor Day weekend and love our stay. So convenient to restaurant, Jerry’s Pub, and a short walk to the lake. The cottage is decorated so cute and always clean. Can’t wait till next year

My girlfriends and myself spent 4 days at this cottage. It was very very nice and clean. Everything worked out perfectly for us 4 senior ladies. I highly recommend this cozy cottage for a getaway. The owner Joan was very accommodating and even stopped by to see if everything was good.

Cozy comfort

We stayed in the cottage to visit family in the area. It was comfortable, and accessible to local restraunts and shops. We were able to go out dueing the day and come back to relax. Would definitely stay again.

Everything about the stay was flawless. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. The property was clean, stocked with basic necessities and the location was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

This cottage was the perfect house for our small family of four. Joan is a great host and really goes out of her way to ensure the house has all you need for a get away vacation. It was a short walk to the lake and to Jerry’s Pub. Overall I highly recommend this cottage for a great getaway.

Clean & Cute Cottage next to lake

This little gem was perfect for our family of four. Thank you for sharing this clean and adorable property with us. It’s so much easier traveling with teens when the kitchen is great and there are laundry facilities. We loved our stay and definitely will recommend and be back. Thanks!!

Check-in and check-out instructions were easy, timely, accurateProperty owner's communication was welcoming, friendly, complete, and quick.Everything in the rental was clean, it had everything we needed for our stay, we appreciated that the beddings and towels were clean and of excellent quality, beds were comfy.The area feels safe.On a scale of 5, we'd give this a 10! Loved being back where I grew up! This sweet cottage on Wamplers Lake did not disappoint. It’s just roomy enough, clean and comfortable with the amenities you would need. It decorated very nicely and located within a block of a great local restaurant.

Cute cottage

The cottage is very cute and served our needs perfectly. We have family that own a house on the lake but do not have a lot of room for overnight guests so this house was perfect. We could walk to Jerry's and we could walk to our family's house. We had our mornings to enjoy our own space and have coffee, before heading over to our family's house for the rest of the day on the lake. Joan, the host, was so easy to communicate with about our stay. And check in and check out were easy breezy. The only thing that could be improved was the queen bed has a hole in the middle so if two people are sleeping in it you sink toward the middle which was a difficult sleep position for those that slept in that bed. However, we would stay there again.

Excellent 2 bedroom cottage

I stayed there by myself for almost two weeks. Everything worked and the setting was a positive. Walks in any direction take you along the lakefront. A short walk leads to Jerry's Pub and Restaurant with a large outside deck looking out to the lake.The washer, dryer, and dishwasher all came in handy. One bedroom has what I think was a queen-size bed. The second one has a double under a single, and another bed. With a pull-out couch in the living room, this little cottage can sleep quite a few people, but keep in mind that this is a small cottage with one bathroom.If you fish, bring your gear.

Great location and friendly neighborhood

Such a cute cabin with everything you need for a nice vacation. The host is great at communication all the way around. You are very close to MIS and other local area attractions. Next time we’ll bring the kayaks and hit the lake as the access is super close. The water pressure in the shower is a huge bonus. Cabin is a little smaller than we were thinking from the pics but we made it work just fine. The fire pit and grill are a great bonus. We’ll definitely stay at this property again.

Wamplers getaway

We have fished Wamplers lake for many years. The fishing isn't the best, but we were aware of that. We had a great time just relaxing.

Extremely clean, quiet and perfect location

My stay at Joan's cottage was awesome. I love the area and how clean and stocked the cottage. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors. Check in was a breeze.... I was sent a code before check in and let myself in. I've stayed at this cottage before, so I didn't have to bother the host, but she is promptly available if you need her. Her contact information is available in the cottage. If you do need something, you will find her very friendly and accommodating. Jerry's Pub is in easy walking distance and provides good food, drinks and entertainment on the weekends.

I purchased a lakefront home at Wampler's Lake in 2012. My home has 6 bedrooms but many times the house is fully booked. I purchased this cottage in 2015 for overflow but decided to rent instead. It is close to my cottage.

The cottage was "gutted" in 2015. Everything is new.
