Spektakulär sjöfastighet vid sjön Cayuga bara 2. 5 miles från Ithaca centrum. 330 fot fasad med full sol hela dagen och fantastiska solnedgångar. Enorm docka! Badkar! Djupt vatten! Otroliga gräsmattor och förvånansvärt privata.

Vårt sjöhus har 5 sovrum:
Drottning sovrum i bottenvåningen.
King Master sovrum på övervåningen.
2 drottning sovrum på övervåningen.
1 våningssäng rum på övervåningen.

Och vi har 2. 5 bad (ett nedervåningen, ett på övervåningen och 1/2 bad på vinden på tredje våningen).

Vår badtunna sitter vid vattnet och vår brygga är ENORM, med en täckt sittdel och vattenrutschbana.

Ithaca är en underbar liten stad i hjärtat av Finger Lakes. Hem till Cornell University, Ithaca College, många vingårdar och en rik kultur, är Ithaca en fantastisk stad att besöka!

Vi har gott om utrymme för parkering (ytterligare en bonus)! Kan passa 5 bilar ganska enkelt. Kollektivtrafiken tar sig inte upp sjön. Men du går alltid ner på järnvägsspår 2 mil till staden. Eller så kan du paddla dig till Ithaca Farmer's Market, till Stewart Park, Cass Park eller Allan Treman State Park.

Östra stranden av sjön Cayuga har ett järnvägsspår som går ungefär halvvägs upp i sjön. Det enda tåget som använder spåren går till saltgruvan norr om oss, bara några gånger per vecka. Det är sällan nog att det är en spännande händelse. Lyckligtvis rör sig det långsamt och blåser inte sitt horn nära vårt hus (såvida inte barnen ber om det).

Lovely house and amazing outdoor space, loved the huge dock with seating, swings & hammocks; the porches, hot tub, availability of kayaks & fishing equipment. Sunset was indeed beautiful! Just wished there wasn’t traffic noise. Kitchen has everything we needed for cooking all of our meals which we like to do. Zach is a great communicator & glad he messaged before our stay to make sure we all understood how to enter the drive way; guests should heed his advice!

Cozy and Charming!

We had a wonderful time at this house. It is rustic, so be prepared for creeky floors and bugs indoors. However, the lake was beautiful, and the house was extremely cozy. The driveway is definitely not for the faint of heart, and we were glad that the car rental company gave us a pick up truck. Can not comment on the kayaks, hot tub, or fishing rods, as the weather was not suitable for using them, but this is a property that we'd love to come back to if given the chance!

Perfect Lake Home

What a magical property with the best host you could ask for! The house is gorgeous and comfortable and homey. Rustic yet modern. Our son was in heaven fishing off the expansive dock while we soaked in the hot tub and searched the shoreline for lake glass. Zach went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and gave our son some great fishing tips. We cannot wait to come back!

Lovely setting

Great cabin with lovely views of the lake and fabulous dock for fishing and relaxing. Lots of outdoor space to dine…great stay for our graduation weekend with close proximity to Ithaca town and campus.

College Graduation Retreat

Our daughter graduated from Ithaca and we booked this home for our family to all be together. Lovely lake location and convenient to campus and town. Cooked at home to stay out of the graduation crowds and the kitchen was very nice set up with all that we would need. Stay here . . . You will LOVE it!

College Tour Weekend

Awesome spot to decompress after stressful college daily tours during a snow filled winter weekend. Amazing home that has a lot of stories to tell. The huge ceilings, beautiful refinished floors, outdoor porches at every level, comfy beds, and plenty of space for our mature dogs to explore off lead. The owner is great! We cannot wait to revisit in warm weather. Highly recommend :)

We were up for a week hoping for snow for our dogs, no snow but a great house. Zach couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! The beds were comfortable. The house was in a good location and the dock is amazing. The driveway is steep so please follow the drive in instructions. Thanks again Zach for your quick responses and the great home away from home.

Christmas at the Cayuga Lakehouse

The four of us, all adults, had a relaxing stay during an historic winter storm that pummeled parts of the state. The wind was cold, but we figured out how to use supplemental heaters that were plenty adequate. We enjoyed the hot tub, which we are not familiar with, and somehow the heat setting got set for a standby mode, so it was not hot enough to use for most of the stay. Our host was hospitable and welcoming.

Beautiful lake house!

This house is truly lakefront and well-equipped! Couldn't have asked for more - we were a short drive to Cornell as well as the wineries, and got to enjoy the huge dock and lake amenities. We had tons of space, as well. The house has everything you could want. Zach mentions in his listing, but just want to emphasize, that driveway is not for the faint of heart! But follow his instructions and you'll survive :)
