- Kingfisher (sover 4 & barnsäng), Nightingale (sover 4 & barnsäng) och The Nest (sover 2) är helt nya, angränsande, specialbyggda fritidshus som ligger i hjärtat av Norfolk. Uthyres tillsammans kan de rymma upp till 10 vuxna.
- Lantligt läge på en liten gård, 10 mil väster om Norwich, 40 minuter från Norfolk Broads och inom en timmes bilresa från North Norfolk Coast.
- Avslutad till en hög standard, två pubar och en busservice på gångavstånd.
- NYTT för gästerna för 2019 har också användning av uppvärmd inomhuspool, luftkonditionerat gym, bastu och ångbad, ett brett utbud av fitnessklasser och utomhusaktiviteter inklusive squash och tennis, allt bara 5 minuters bilresa bort
- Spelrum och tvättstuga
- Liten gårdsbutik på plats säljer getmjölk, ost och andra lokala produkter inklusive honung, ägg, glass och säsongsprodukter.

Inuti Kingfisher och Nightingale: Ingången leder till stort öppet kök (kyl och frys, mikrovågsugn, diskmaskin), matsal (barnstol finns på begäran) och vardagsrum (TV), med altandörrar som leder ut. Separat nedre våningen WC.
Trappa kan tillhandahållas på begäran.

Både Kingfisher och Nightingale har två sovrum med eget badrum på övervåningen, en king size-säng (med badkar och dusch ensuite) och en tvilling (med dusch ensuite). Alla sovrum har utsikt över gräsmattan till hästmenagen och skogen bortom.
En resesäng kan tillhandahållas (ta med egen sänglinne för barnsäng). Andra sängkläder, handdukar och hårtork finns.

The Nest är en lägenhet på första våningen (nås via en intern trappa) med öppen planlösning (TV), matsal och kök (diskmaskin, mikrovågsugn, kylskåp med frysfack). King size-sovrum och rymligt badrum med ett stort, dubbelt badrum och dubbla duschkabin.

Alla tre egenskaperna är helt dubbelglasade med elektrisk uppvärmning och luftkonditionering.

Utanför: Kingfisher och Nightingale har altandörrar som leder till privata uteserveringar, alla med picknickbänk och trädgårdsparaply. Bortom matplatsen är en helt inhägnad gräsmatta delad mellan de tre fastigheterna.

Nice place

Really good time.The garden is huge,.the room sizes good, parking is easy and the goat shed is so convenient, we even got to see goats being born before visitors were allowed in!!The amenities are pretty good, but there are a few wobbly chairs and a bed which could do with some attention or replacement, so don't let that stop you from staying here.

Anniversary celebration

The holiday break was perfect for us as we were three separate households but one family. Luckily the weather was very good enabling walks from the accommodation and outside play on the lawn area. We made full use of the excellent on site farm shop and the swimming pool which was near by. Norwich is a very nice city to visit, and my wife and I called at Diss on our journey to the farm, again well worth a visit. This was a happy family time to celebrate our 50th wedding aniversary

No easily accessible pool particularly if you have children.

Although the write up states the pool is 5 minutes drive away the photos indicate there is a pool on the premises. The photos show an empty pool but I would imagine it to be busy as it is in a sports centre. If you have children the times they can swim are very limited so we didn’t bother to use the pool. We hired a hot tub from the venue, they use Norfolk Spas and Leisure. The hot tub was filthy, I have photos. The delivery of the hot tub was made late because of a glitch with the Reply To Host on the VRBO site. It meant we only had use of the hot tub for 2 days of the 3 we paid for. The cost was £195 for the 2/3 days! Within 24 hours of usage the water balance was already unsuitable for safe usage although this was sorted quickly. The whole area was unexpectedly noisy. Previous guests have mentioned that it is next to a farm centre with cows, goats, a maze and a busy farm shop. There was constant noise from car tyres on gravel as cars were driving into and out of the car park. It only got quieter once the farm shop etc closed at 6pm. We rented all 3 cottages, the dishwasher didn’t work in one of the two cottages that had one. The grass in the garden is quite long and very weedy, the hedge is unkempt and untidy. We had a lovely time though but it wasn’t worth the money. We asked Sam to contact Norfolk Spas and Leisure for an explanation and part refund, in neither case were they bothered despite the evidence we had of the filthy hot tub.

Amazing week

We booked all of the cottages they were beautiful, very clean and amazing. The gardens were very secure so the small grandchildren where very safe which gave us peace of mind. The games room was good for all especially the Big Kids !! We will be going back and would recommend Fielding Cottages and the Goat Shed to all. Shop and cafe were also amazing

Family fun

A great place to be with friends and family- without being together all the time. Cottages are all well equipped and comfortable. It was great to have the farm shop and cafe on site and to make use of the swimming pool at the nearby leisure centre. Good location for visiting the lively town of Norwich and the beautiful seaside resorts such as Wells next sea.We all enjoyed our 4day stay.

Great cottages for a large family gathering

Property was great although I did not realize that the third property was an apartment over the games room. I was not aware that there was a caravan park there when I booked. The showers for the caravan owners were under the apartment .it would be better if a separate shower and toilet facility were available for the use of the caravan travelers.

Family Fun

We loved staying in Norfolk and this was no exception. It was great to have all our family together and runabout in the big garden for the little ones. So much on offer nearby but all facilities first class onsite and use of the swimming pool just down the road was great. We will be coming back soon as so much more to explore. The farm had a pizza night on the Friday night we arrived and would have liked to have known, as we had brought food ready to eat that night. Pizzas looked good too.

Fantastic place to stay

We rented all 3 cottages as a base for a family celebration. Being able to have our own individual space as well as being able to join together in the evenings was brilliant.

Excellent family accommodation

The accommodation was excellent, very clean, tidy with everything you needed. It was very hot weather during our stay so the air conditioning in the cottages was wonderful. The games room with the table tennis table and box of toys provided entertainment for all of the family. Sam was an excellent host and explained everything we needed to know about the local area. We would definately recommend this property.

Perfect in every way

We were a party of 8 adults and 3 under 2's using all 3 cottages. Initial impressions - they are bigger than they look on the website. Plenty of room. All 8 adults managed to eat round the table in one cottage. Clean and fresh and safe for small people. Wonderfully equipped for babies and toddlers - 2 proper cots for the bigger babies and a travel cot for the 4 week old. High chairs and a bouncing cradle provided. Plastic bowls and little person cutlery. Also well equipped for the older generation. Good cooking facilities and plenty of glassware! Completely enclosed lawn area with goats and horses and the odd pheasant to look at. Wonderful communication by the owner (though "owners direct" were not so good) who phoned a couple of days before our arrival to check our needs (which he had already understood perfectly) - which was welcome with 3 small people in the party. He met us on arrival and would have been available if we had needed him over the extended weekend we stayed - but everything was fine, so we didn't. I would definitely recommend, and would use again if travelling to Norfolk. Relaxing and peaceful spot with a pub in walking distance.

Lovely spot, lovely property. Sam went above and beyond to look after us when we were snowed in!

Rented all three cottages for a business trip. We got snowed in and Sam was extremely helpful, even giving us all a lift to the pub and back so we didn't have to get there in the snow. Lovely farm shop on site which was a godsend as we couldn't get to a supermarket. Sam even offered to cook us all dinner due to the weather. Can't fault the place or the owners.

Great accommodation, great surroundings, great host, would be great to come back

We stayed at the Fielding Cottage over Aug Bank Holiday, and we had a great time. The accommodation is clean and fresh and is surrounded by lovely countryside. The owners operate a farm which was a hit with the kids. There are a number of facilities such as the games room with a ping pong table, a farm shop, ensuite bathrooms with each room, which made our stay even more comfortable and exciting. There are a number of things to do in the area, for both adults and kids, including beaches, glamping, garden centres, museums, boat ride over the broads etc. We do plan to come back soon, hopefully for a longer stay.
