Amazing town house

Absolutely loved the townhouse, the decor was lovely and the house was really spacious. The owner Sarah was really accommodating and lovely too. The only problem, which for us was a big problem was the noise from the restaurant downstairs, I didn’t realise it was a bar too and they had karaoke the first night until about 12.45 and the bar noise went on until about 1am the 2nd night, we were then woken at about 5-6am by noise outside, even the sounds of the bin lorry one morning sounded like it was in our room. I think it all sounded so loud as the windows in the townhouse are only single glazed, so you literally could hear everything going on outside & downstairs. Such a shame as the townhouse really was perfect & beautiful besides that, but I like my sleep & didn’t get much of it, earplugs weren’t an option for us as we have young children (their room was actually round the back and didn’t get any of this noise)

Beautiful townhouse

Very comfortable and beautiful townhouse ideally located in the heart of historic Berwick Upon Tweed. Walking distance to restaurants, beach and tourist sites and shops. Loved our stay and we will be back.

Excellent stay

Property was immaculate, spacious, and great location. We went for my mams 60th birthday and she loved every minute. Lots of nice bars and restaurants on the doorstep too. Would definitely go back!

Great place and great location

Really lovely place to stay. Its equipped with everything you need and big enough for you all not to get on top of each other! Fab location right in the heart of Berwick. Spotlessly clean and great communication with the owner. Really would recommend it and would stay again at the drop of a hat.

A Family week in Berwick ,

We stayed in Sarah’s lovely property in central Berwick. Easy access to the shops and other town amenities and attractions . Plenty of free parking near by for visitors with a car. A well equipped kitchen, good WiFi coverage and very comfortable. The wine bar down stairs did have live music until 11.30 for 1 night which we expected, but otherwise quiet for such a central location. One minor point lighting in lounge could be better for the older reader. I would throughly recommend staying in this property if visiting Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Ideal

This was a lovely apartment - beautifully furnished and decorated and very spacious. Perhaps best of all, the beds were very comfortable. Berwick seems to be up and coming and now has some great little eateries and bars but is close to the best beaches in the country and more history than you can handle. A great combination. Enjoy.

A great weekend away

The property was a real home from home. The attention to detail was outstanding and there was nothing we wanted that was not in the house . Each room was spacious and comfortable and as a family of three generations we all loved our stay. Thank you Sarah and Audrey. Sea gulls were the only problem.

Perfect. Bigger than expected and lovely!

We loved our stay. The decoration was wonderful. The location couldn’t be beaten. And the team were super about meeting us later than expected. All fantastic!

Beautiful spacious property in excellent location.

Stayed with family over the new year period and had a fantastic break away. The property is beautifully styled with all amenities to hand. Sarah and Audrey went above and beyond to make our stay as perfect as possible, meeting us on our arrival and providing parking permits to park nearby. The kitchen area is a great size and perfect for entertaining in large groups. All linen and towels provided and Sarah olso ensured there was the basic necessities in the fridge on our arrival. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely be back. (The property in over 3 floors and so isn’t appropriate for those with walking difficulties)

Great house with central location

Thank you Sarah for letting us stay in your lovely house. It’s done up to an amazing standard with beautiful interiors. It was lovely to have some essentials in the kitchen when we arrived and both check in & check out was incredibly easy. Very central location and thank you for providing info on cabs, restaurants etc before we arrived.

Fabulous!

Just home from the most amazing Bank Holiday weekend in sunny Berwick. Although we’ve stayed in Berwick many times over the years, this is our first time staying in the townhouse on Hide Hill - and it definitely won’t be our last! Beautiful property, in a fabulous central location. The owners have thought of everything .... the public rooms, kitchen and bedrooms are just perfect - and the beds ever so confortable! The sun shone for our four day stay, and we enjoyed Berwick and the surrounding area to the max! Thank you, Sarah and Michael! 😍

Beautiful house in the perfect location

The town house in Berwick is absolutely beautiful, it was spotless throughout and has 4 great sized bedrooms. The house really couldn’t be positioned any better, all local amenities are right in the doorstep, yet it was very quiet in the evenings. Finally, communication and support from Sarah and Michael the owners were first class. All in all our stay was just perfect, many thanks! David

Fabulous stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay , stunning spacious period property with high spec fittings . The extra touches added really made this break feel like a real treat . Ideal location to explore beautiful Berwick . Foxtons restaurant serves great food and selection of wines at very reasonable prices well worth a visit . Will certainly be returning , highly recommended .
