This home exceeded our needs needs! It was very well stocked, clean and located on a lovely cove where we kayaked and floated on our floaties. We rented a pontoon twice and were able to bring it up to the dock easily. The screened in porch was fantastic! Shady and cool all day. We spent the majority of our time out there. It was very peaceful and quiet. The beds were all very comfy, nicely decorated and more space than we could use! The hosts were fantastic and easily reached. We went with two other couples and all loved it! Would highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

This house at Lake Norman was a perfect place for a vacation getaway. The house was clean, well stocked, and right on the lake, I communicated with Ed, and he was very welcoming. The house had an awesome projector/movie viewing area that was comfortable for our family of 5. We played on the lake and played games at the house when the weather was raining. The house was spacious enough to spread out, but we also enjoyed meals together on the large screened in porch. We had a great time at the lake and could absolutely return to this house!

The cottage is perfectly positioned at the end of the cove, great water views and access! The cottage itself is so cute and so clean and the owners outfitted it with everything one could need! Everything was as advertised and even better! The owners were great communicators and couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Would definitely go back!

Ed and Diane's house was awesome! As soon as we entered the home, we felt welcome. Everything was fresh and clean, with smart touches such as a welcome basket, a water cooler, and little extras available that you may need for your vacation. It is well-located in a quiet neighborhood, but close by any retail shopping for stocking up on necessities for your stay. There was ample room for our group, and a large and inviting screened-in porch overlooking the lake with cooling ceiling fans where we spent most of our time. We retreated to the basement when storms moved in one evening, to find a giant screen for movie time. I only wish we had more time to enjoy the other offered amenities, like the hot tub, the outdoor pool table, and the kayaks. Hopefully next year, as we plan to rent again! I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

Fantastic House! Great Hosts

The house was perfect for 4 couples. Exactly as described, so many areas for hanging out. The back screened porch was amazing! Dock was great to hang on, I would recommend bringing beach chairs if you want to sit on the dock all day like we did! Was clean, responsive and super awesome.

Lovely Escape

This is an absolutely beautiful property. Everything in the house feels brand new. The screened in porch is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or to eat dinner and watch the sunset. The bed was super comfy and the house/kitchen was well stocked. Everything was just beautiful! The owners were very easy and friendly to deal with. We wanted a place to slow down and escape the hustle and bustle of life and this was definitely it! There is enough close by that you can do as much or as little as you want. I would definitely stay here again.

Great time at Thanksgiving

It was a wonderful vacation for our family. The house exactly how it was described and more. Owners are very fast to respond any time. Lake was wonderful to watch. All rooms are spacious and we had everything we need. Sunroom was a blast. They left us a bottle of wine, even some treat for our dog. There were plenty of spices, teas we can use if we need. Thank you Diane and Ed. We will be back.

Absolutely Perfect

Beautiful house in the perfect location! Private, yet easy access to anything you need. Very roomy. Screened in porch was amazing. Everyone loved the comfy beds and all the amenities provided. Owners communicated great and were very responsive throughout the booking process…no need to talk with them during our stay, but have no doubt they would have been equally so then. Already trying to figure a week for our next stay! (We will bring toilet paper though. One-ply just doesn’t do the job!)
