My boys and I have stayed here for the past four years, and it has been wonderful every time. If you’re looking for a place where you can go to forget about the world and just enjoy life, this is it.

Thank you for the 10's. We are pleased when you are pleased. The Lakeside Cottage has one of the best locations on Kentucky Lake where two rivers merge. The Big Sandy becomes part of the Tennessee right in front of the Lakeside Cottage. This produces big beautiful sunsets. Plus you can enjoy the pedal boat and kayaks as part of your Lakeside vacation experience. We look forward to your next visit.

We appreciate your great review. Having the boat ramp immediately in front of the Lakeside Cottage is a big advantage if you bring a boat. Fortunately, there is plenty of room inside and outside for visiting and relaxing on one level. The view from the Lakeside Cottage is enhanced by being located on the widest portion of Kentucky Lake and being able to enjoy the river traffic on the Tennessee River.

This property was perfect!! The hosts were so amazing!! Vince and Pat left us pumpkin bread and the nicest welcoming note. They were very easy to communicate with and live near by. The rooms are clean, spacious and very cozy. We all slept quite well. We utilized the deck and grill; eating while watching the barges go by was very cool. Taking walks along kentucky lake, collecting shells and golf cart rides were some of our youngest favorite things. Paddle boating and kayaking were some highlights as well. Bring groceries!! The drive to Paris is long, there is a store closer but still 20ish minutes. Pizza night 1 is always great and TNT is the best. We left an updated menu in the basket of brochures. This place is a must, can't wait till next year.

The cottage was quite comfortable and homey! We absolutely enjoyed the use of the golfcart which made travel down to the beach so much easier. The hosts were genuinely such a joy to communicate with and the sweetest couple! Thank you for an amazing trip!

What a great place to stay! The hosts were very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We were able to take full advantage of all of the amenities, and even caught a few fish of of the dock. The kids enjoyed visiting the nearby Civil War sites as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. It is a great location on the lake for swimming, floating, kayaking, pedal boating, fishing and watching river traffic on the Tennessee River. It is not far from Ft. Donelson with Civil War history or Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area plus much more in the area. We hope you are able to return soon.

We are so thankful to have found this place, what a gem! It is everything we could have wanted and even exceeded our expectations. The hosts are so gracious and warm and make you feel like family! The boat ramp worked great for our jet ski and was used by larger boats and pontoons. Vince even let me borrow his battery charger when my jet ski battery was dead. The golf cart rental was well worth it, since it's a steep walk to the beach. We would love to return with our family. We had plenty of space, even for our family of eight. We loved being close to the water with its amazing views. God bless you, Vince and Pat, for sharing your home with us. We highly recommend staying here!

The view of the lake from the deck is great! The beds are comfy. Everything you need is provided, just bring your groceries. The Cottage is spacious and comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful. This is a great place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend it!
