Excellent Stay

Eventhough we had rain everyday, the apartment was wonderful. Just what we were looking for. Very clean very well maintained and very large. I would recommend Loretta's place to everyone.

Awesome Experience!

Beautiful gated community. Views of Lake James from the apartment. The host was very on top of communications and very helpful. The place is clean, roomy, and well-stocked. My family really enjoyed their stay! Great value for the money and I would definitely rent again if the opportunity arises. 10/10.

Ridiculous situation

Did not get to stay. When trying to reach out was screamed at several times and after waiting 2 hours didn’t feel safe staying in same house. It is a basement in someone’s home. My birthday weekend with family was ruined because of this. Wasted travel time and time. Had me so stressed out. These people should not be allowed to be on this site

Beautiful Lake James nc

The apartment was spotless huge and beautiful! Easy to access and the view was spectacular! We highly recommend this place and will stay here again in the future. Loretta and her husband respect your privacy answer all your questions and are really nice folks and we enjoyed chatting with them. The whole neighborhood is quiet and has nice short trails to walk on. Also the dock was a bonus so we could jump in the lake for a refreshing swim. We hated to leave

Amazing Lakeside Apartment

We booked this for a short vacation around the 4th of July. We were not disappointed. The apartment is beautiful and the views are spectacular. We were close to plenty of outdoor activities and time on the lake. This place is worth every penny.

Great Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in town for my niece's wedding and the location of this home was so convenient for all of the weekend's events. The place was comfortable and well stocked. Our host was a pleasure!.

Great stay

We had a great stay at Loretta’s house. House was quiet, extremely clean, and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and Loretta was a lovely host.

Peaceful

Our stay was comfortable and peaceful. We had everything we needed. However the hill between the lake and the apartment is very steep. The walking path down is criss crossed and rutted.Not easily managed and more difficult to walk back up, especially if one is older.

Lovely little apartment

We were very happy with the price point for the quality of the apartment, and the hostess was very welcoming. A very minor thing - the ceiling lights in the main kitchen/dining/living area are very blue and bright (the original LED type), I would consider replacing them with softer lights, but this was not a big deal :)

Fantastic!

This property was perfect for a nice, relaxing weekend by the water. Beautiful views and plenty of fish to be caught if you're looking to go. Loretta was very hospitable. Could have easily stayed longer if we'd had the time.

Don't tell anyone but,

This very reasonable priced lower level apartment was just right for us. The hostess was very attentive to our needs as we enjoyed a secluded spot on Lake James. The apartment was very clean and spacious and we felt very private out on the back patio which had a beautiful view of the lake facing east. Our sailboat bobbed safely along the side of the covered dock. We'll be back.

Just what we needed

The view of the lake was better than the pictures. The condo is very spacious and well-decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back. If you are wanting a quiet place to relax and enjoy the back patio this is the place. S. Stephens
