Efter att ha varit besviken över semesterlägenheter tidigare har jag sett till att den här har allt som en familj behöver - från hårtorkar till enorma mängder porslin och glas, med ett urval brädspel och DVD-skivor och till och med en Wii-konsol med några få spel för tyst tid i.

Lägenheten ligger bara 70 km från Almeria flygplats (45 minuter), och lägenheten nås enkelt med direktflyg eller alternativt Murcia flygplats (140 km - 90 minuter) också tjänster för området.

Valle del Este ligger i en turistdestination på Almerias östkust (nära byarna Vera, Garrucha och Mojacar) Det har mer än tre tusen soltimmar per år, vilket är mer än något annat område på kontinentala Europa.

På komplexet finns en utmärkt golfbana och spa, som är perfekt för att kombinera sport och avkoppling. Det finns också en fantastisk tapasrestaurang, en golf- / sportbar, en mini-butik och en cocktailbar. Du är bara en 10-15 minuters bilresa från stränderna i Garrucha och Mojacar.

Escaped the British winter

Lovely apartment very spacious. Met all our needs . We self catered and experienced no problems with equipment , crockery etc. Excellent property manager responded very quickly to requests and all were actioned / resolved immediately. He was very accommodating when we had a problem during our journey to the property .He helped us enormously and we are very thankful. The apartment is very secure with a gate and shutters it is a lovely area with a great golf course . We had brilliant weather so could use the outdoor space. The neighbours are brilliant very friendly and helpful. A great trip

Excellent communication with the owner - really nice property as described on the website, in a lovely location. Easy access to the property on arrival. Had a lovely stay and would return.

Had everything needed by our family of six for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Communication with the owners was excellent. The apartment is conveniently accessed just off the motorway. From Alicante airport it's an easy 2hr drive to Valle del Este resort. Less if you're flying into Murcia or Almeria. We found the apartment a great base for exploring both the nearby towns of Vera, Mojacar and the beaches along Vera Playa as well as for venturing further afield to the Cabo de Gata national park villages and beaches such as San José. The lovely town of Nijar with it's pottery and rug shops is another easy drive as is Sorbas, an interesting moorish town built right on the edge of a gorge. Tabernas desert and the old movie sets there are worth visiting if you're a spaghetti western fan. The apartment itself was well set up to accommodate our group of two adults and four kids. Plenty of space and excellent WiFi as mentioned in another review. It did stop working for the last few days but this didn't affect our enjoyment. The kids played with the Wii and had fun with a dance game. The highlight for our kids was the pool. It remaining open during October was fantastic and we all made use of it nearly every day. Having two showers in the apartment was another bonus. Reasonably priced groceries can be found at the supermarket Mercadona if you prefer to cook your own meals. There's a good Mercadona in Vera town but we found it easier to park at the big one further out the main road towards Garrucha. You can't miss it on the left if you take that road. Our youngest got a kick out of squeezing the orange juice in-store. Fresh bread can also be found most days in the little shop near the hotel. The resort itself seems geared to retired golfers and the residential section where we stayed was very quiet during the first ten days of October. That suited us; we loved having the place nearly to ourselves. There is a restaurant at the hotel down the road and two more a short walk away from the hotel in the Centro Comercial. We liked Karen's sports bar the best. Now to the beds. Yes, the mattresses are on the firm side. Half of our group said they were fine and half took a while to get used to them. I'm in the latter half so if I was to return I'd bring a mattress topper for my dodgy back. Again, this(or the lack of a cafetiere) wasn't enough to detract from an overall wonderful holiday. I've already recommended this apartment to friends and family and would love to go back. (p.s. For any geocachers reading this, you will be kept busy here!)

Excellent

Nice flat with six beds. Good condition: A/C, Wi-fi and all modern facilities. Nice quite swimming pool and a couple of restaurants/bars at walking distance. Joh, the owner was extremelly helpful. Would book again.

Very enjoyable stay at Valle Del Este again!

This is my 4th visit to Valle Del Este and once again it did not disappoint. This is the first time I've stayed in this Apt and it also did not disappoint. Very spacious apt with Air Con throughout and excellent WiFi for the teenagers! All mod cons including Dish Washer, Washing Machine, BBQ, etc. Close to the pool and within easy walk of the hotel and restaurant complex. Also very, very reasonable cost to rent (by far the best that I'm aware of in Valle Del Este). Only minor suggestion for improvement would be more comfortable mattresses :-) I would highly recommend this Apt to anyone!
