A real gem of a house

The house is beautifully prepared, doesn’t feel like a ‘bog standard’ holiday home. Real thought and flair in the design. Beautiful pool and patio area with stunning views to the sea. The road to the house is undeniably a challenge, not for the faint hearted, but we did get our 7.5 metre Motorhome up to and back from the house without major issues so hope that offers some reassurance. Final point, Sayalonga is a lovely little town and is well worth a wander, the steak restaurant in the square is really very good.

Séjour parfait à Sayalonga !!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Sayalonga !Nous avons été accueillie et parfaitement guidé jusque la maison dès notre arrivée.La maison est parfaite, bien équipée avec un extérieur sublime à 360 degrés. Une vue sur la mer pour l'apéro ou pour les repas.Un grand merci à Benjamin pour sa gentillesse et son accueil. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !!

Een aanrader!

Wij hebben de afgelopen 14 dagen doorgebracht in Solaz home. Wij hebben ontzettend genoten van het huis, het zwembad, de rust en de privacy. Het huis is precies zoals op de foto’s, er ontbreekt je werkelijk aan niets! Zelfs de inventaris van de keuken is zeer uitgebreid, tot aan de kruiden toe. Ook buiten vind je nog een extra koeling met vriesvak. Benjamin de gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en reageert snel. Kortom wij kunnen dit huis alleen maar aanraden en wij zullen zeker nog eens terug keren. Let wel, de villa ligt op een berg. Auto is hierbij noodzakelijk!

Met het gezin een week de villa gehuurd. Mooie villa op een mooi en rustig gelegen plek. Een heerlijke week gehad. De communicatie met de gastheer Benjamin verliep uitermate plezierig. Kan deze villa voor een relax vakantie iedereen aanraden!

"Home away from home"

The 'Solaz Home' holiday rental in Sayalonga is a unique home. Situated on top of the mountain, we were introduced to the spectacular views which were truly beautiful. The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house was very well designed with an updated kitchen and bathrooms, along with beautiful marble flooring throughout. Outdoor laundry area. Mountain and water views from the kitchen, dining room and bedroom provided lots of sunlight throughout the day. The grounds had several comfortable, private seating areas with updated outdoor furnishings. The swimming pool is large and well maintained. If you are looking for a unique, peaceful and quiet mountain retreat, this location is a dream. Only disadvantage, is the 15 to 20 minute narrow mountain road drive to and from the house. Excellent Property for a Peaceful Break

We are a family of four, consisting of two adults and two children, one aged sixteen and the other aged twelve. We were looking for a property that was modern in terms of furnishings & facilities, and would provide a nice level of relaxation away from the hustle & bustle of modern living. This property certainly delivered on this wish, it met all of our expectations. It is very clean, tidy and visually pleasing. We came away at the end of our holiday, feeling refreshed. Benjamin the owner was very welcoming and great to deal with, communication was very good. He answered all of our questions on arrival and always responded quickly to our texts when we had any additional queries, such as recommendations for places to eat locally. The Villa is situated in the hills with gorgeous views across the valley and out to sea. There plenty of places to lounge & relax either in the sun or shade. We loved the fact that it felt remote & very peaceful despite only being a short ten minute drive to the nearest village and only about a thirty minute drive maximum to a large supermarket. We loved the small lemon grove and having fresh lemons, that were beautifully sweet & zesty. We cannot find anything other than positive things to say about this property. It is highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxing tranquil escape. We look forward to returning again soon. My only advice to prospective guests is, if you are hiring a car & using a Satnav, use either a Garmin or Google maps for your routing. We had a TomTom Satnav & it did not recognise any of the local roads to this property. So was unable to guide us. Fortunately we had a back up Satnav that had the mapping for the local roads.

Mooie moderne villa met zalig zwembad en prachtig uitzicht

We hebben genoten van de mooie villa met heerlijk zwembad! Alles erop en eraan! We hadden ook een goed contact met de eigenaar en hij had plaatselijk iemand voorzien die ons vriendelijk begeleid heeft en de sleutels overhandigde. Alleen de weg naar het huis is net iets moeilijker en beter niet met een lage auto aan te raden.

Wonderful - away from it all!

We’ve stayed in many self catering villas and this was up there with the best. If you can cope with some scary roads to get there, you will be rewarded with stunning views of the sea and surrounding hills. If like us, you prefer some privacy - away from the crowds, this property offers that with complete luxury and attention to detail. Stylish interiors, excellent outdoor spaces to chill and soak up the Andalucian sun. Benjamin, the property owner made us feel very welcome and even went out of his way to help us repair a puncture. Truly excellent - 5 stars from us!

Amazing House!

Fantastisk bolig i et fantastisk område

Super flot hus. Alt var rent og pænt både ude og inde. Smart med 3 soveafdelinger med hvert sit badeværelse. Virkelig stille og idyllisk udsigt over Middelhavet. Fede havemøbler og indretning. Alt er en fryd for øjet. Godt sted til fuld afstresning. Stor flot pool som er dyb i den ene ende.

Ett helt fantastiskt ställe ”away from it all”! Högt och fritt beläget med fantastisk utsikt.

En liten bit av paradiset! Högt och fritt beläget med fantastisk utsikt genom dalgången över havet, i princip utan insyn, ligger detta ca 100 kvm nyrenoverade och välplanerade hus med egen pool, poolområde och utegrill. Huset är välutrustat med ett badrum till var och ett av de tre sovrummen med sköna (för att vara i södra Europa) dubbelsängar. Köket ligger i direkt anslutning till poolområdet med endast skjutdörr som kan öppnas helt. Det är gott om köksutrustning, med brödrost, juicepress, elvisp, kastruller, stekpannor och både Nespresso och vanlig kaffemaskin. Tvätt- och diskmaskin finns också tillgängligt. Bra internetuppkoppling! Extra poolstädning sker mitt i veckan. Vägen till huset är MYCKET brant, smal utan räcken och delvis grusväg från den närmaste byn Sayalonga ca 20 min bilfärd fr huset. Där finns apotek, restaurant och möjlighet till mindre inköp. För bra storköpsmöjlighet tar man sig ner till Algarrobo Costa (30 min m bil) till Lidl eller Mercadona eller det större Torres del mar (40 min m bil) där det finns stort utbud av restauranger, shopping och långa stränder. Benjamin, husets ägare, mötte själv upp på tillträdesdagen i Sayalonga varifrån han körde före och visade vägen och huset för oss. Mycket trevlig bekantskap! Belgare som pratar mycket bra engelska (och givetvis flytande spanska) kändes tillgänglig om vi behövt ytterligare hjälp under vår vistelse.
