Vacation in Hanalei

The property had everything we needed and it was close to restaurants and the beach. We walked everywhere which was easy. The house was clean, provided beach chairs, cooler, umbrella & beach towels. We would definitely book this house again!

Location Location Location!

This house is the best for Hanalei beach location. You walk across the street to the beach and you are in paradise. A short walk and you are in town. Great place for a family with everything you will need. We can not wait to come back. The perfect place for a relaxing week in paradise.

Great location

My family and I stayed here for a week and we were very pleased. House was clean, well equipped and the location was great walking distance from beach and all the shops/restaurants in hanalei. Will be staying here in the future.

Charming Hanalei cottage

Great location and lovely cottage on serene grounds— wonderful stay steps to Hanalei bay and beach as well as town. We appreciated the eco conscious living, outdoor shower/ no shoe policy to keep the interior clean and fans/multiple windows to keep cool.

Don’t Judge by its Cover

Driving up to the property hat has some cute and updated looking properties brings a bit of disappointment when you realize this is the house. But then you realize how close the beach path is, and that you can walk to town where the market and shops are. There are fixture updates, but the kitchen needs to be updated, too. But, again, if they do update, then this property may then be out of our budget. A great place overall.

At Home in Hanalei

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A wonderful time was had by all. The Pauole home is so cozy & comfortable. It really feels like home. Everything one would need for a relaxing & enjoyable stay. Plenty of room (inside & out) for families to have a fantastic vacation. And the best part is how close it is to the beach (the beach path is steps away) & close enough to town, you can leave your car at the house & just walk whenever you want to head into town. Quiet & peaceful (not to mention the roosters & chirping birds to start your day in the traditional Hanalei way;). This our go to place to stay when visiting Kauai!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful stay in Hanalei! Just what we wanted for our needs. Not fancy but everything works and it's a very practical home for life by the beach. We particularly liked the outdoor showers, lanai, extra beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and other leftovers that guests have donated. Don't expect luxury living as the home itself has a practical and basic interior. Nothing wrong with it at all but just something you should know in case you like more luxury. The biggest plus of this property is its location with a path to the beach right across the street. Look forward to coming again and enjoying the home, sizeable yard and 'Scott' the Rooster who patrols the garden and gets you up early for your day.

Can’t wait to stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved our stay at Pauole! Everything was clean, kitchen was well stocked including some seasonings and even Tupperware which was very helpful. The views from the backyard are amazing, you can see waterfalls out the window, and helpful having the yard gated so kids can safely run around. Boogie boards, umbrella, 6 beach chairs, and even floats and sand toys were available. Location can’t be beat. Walkway to the beach is right across the street, and it’s a less crowded part of the beach since the public parking lot isn’t too close by. Communication was great, quick responses to any questions I had along the way, and when the road to Hanalei was shut down on our arrival day due to flooding, the vacation rental company reached out to us to offer an alternate accommodation in princeville, and stayed in communication after hours so we weren’t stranded. Would absolutely stay here again, and definitely will rent through Kauai vacation rentals in the future!

Wonderful home!

We had an amazing time staying at the Pauole house! It’s an adorable cottage with all the amenities you could possibly need (microwave, charcoal grill, washer/dryer, rice cooker, slow cooker, pots/pans, big bowls for mixing and even stuff for baking) Location CANNOT be beat, right across street from beach trail and less than 5 minute walk to town. House was very clean, beds were comfortable (4 beds in all - great for myself, my boyfriend & his kids as well as a family friend to all stay & sleep comfortably). Newer TV with cable & wi-fi was an excellent connection. Outdoor shower is great for after surfing & with hot water too! Checking in/out was very easy & good communication overall. Would definitely stay here again!! Mahalo for a wonderful & smooth island adventure :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is basic but comfortable and as clean as you can expect for an old beach house. Furnishings could use updating, but the space was perfect for us. Two twin beds in the side bonus room allowed all 3 kids to have their own bed. Great yard with no house behind and view of mountains. Grab an avocado from the tree if you can reach it. Location can't be beat, cool beach access path right across the street 2 minutes to the sand. 5 minute walk going the other way to get to restaurants/shops. There were beach chairs, umbrella and 2 boogie boards. Kauai vacation rentals were responsive to our requests. Would stay here again.
