Woodland plats bredvid Aviemore Center

En bekväm välutrustad lägenhet med utsikt över avlägsna berg, belägen i skogsmark utanför en cul-de-sac bredvid Aviemore Center, bara några minuters promenad till järnvägsstationen, affärer, restauranger etc. Aviemore är en populär semesterort belägen i Cairngorm-bergen i Skottlands högländer. perfekt för promenader, cykling, djurliv, fågelskådning och vattensporter. På vintern kan du åka skidor och det är perfekt för både sommar- och vintersport och sightseeing. Landskapet är spektakulärt och vilda djur i överflöd, sett på BBC 'Spring Watch'.
Lägenheten ligger i centrum av byn inom gångavstånd från station, affärer, restauranger, barer etc. Det ligger tillbaka från huvudvägen i en skogsområde bredvid hotellkomplexet MacDonald med utsikt över bergen. Den sover fyra vuxna bekvämt med möjlighet att även rymma ett litet barn. Boendet är välutrustat och av hög standard, med en "home-from-home", bekväm känsla. Det finns gott om parkering och plats för cykel- / skid- / barnvagnsförvaring.
Inom fem minuters promenad finns också ett naturreservat, öringsjö (där fiskgjuse kan ses) och det nyrenoverade Aviemore-centret med en superny pool, bastu och andra idrottsanläggningar. Det finns många utflykter för att utforska den omgivande Cairngorms nationalpark (till exempel att ta en släde med huskier, för att mata renarna) eller längre bort till Inverness, Culloden, Braemar, etc.

All we were looking for was somewhere comfortable to sleep during the Thunder in the Glens Rally weekend we got that and much more . The flat was clean and comfortable, not only that but close to the Macdonald resort where most of the activities were being held and just a short walk to pubs, restaurants and centre of town. Lovely spot. A personal welcome. This is a lovely location for sleep & go. I highly recommend the location for two adults! It’s a cute little flat with all of the amenities. Due to size the kitchen, eating area and sitting room are all the same space. The kitchen is well equipped but only two adults can lounge on the two seater, the other sitting options are bar stools, so no room for 4 adults to sit and socialize inside. A lovely garden if the weather is good. The queen bed was quite comfortable and it was nice to have a toilet attached to the room. The toilet is very loud, I do not suggest nighttime use. The single beds were less supportive for adultGuests, it would be a lovely room for children.

Die Lage der Wohnung ist erstklassig, in ruhiger Sackgasse , direkt am Wald, Wanderwege, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, Geschäfte und Restaurants sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wohnung selber hat eine schöne Aufteilung und alle notwendigen Gegenstände standen zur Verfügung. Wohn- und Essbereich wirkt etwas verlebt. Der Gemeinschaftshausflur wirkte wenig einladend. Mit der Vermieterin hatten wir sehr freundlichen Kontakt per Email, sie war sehr zuvorkommend und gut organisiert.

Perfect location

We liked the flat, it was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was very quit during the evenings and nights. It was nicely furnished and made us fell welcomed. It was perfectly situated for daytrips around the highland. It was walking distance to many restaurant and pubs as well as shops and the Strathspey Railway. It was easy to park right outside the building.

great place for trains busses and local walks, flat had everything you need, plenty crockery utensils and pans ,no oven but one was on order,but there was air fryer hot plate microwave and toaster,I was happy staying there and would do so again

place needs a good change , wi-fi didn't work television was over ten years old didn't support our needs as we had a young child , no soap no toilet roll .. or shampoo , condiments or anything i know it's not a hotel but it's supposed to be a welcoming home and really was not , the close was something i'd except to walk into int the darkest places of edinburgh .. not a holiday home for a family anyway , for the price it was a joke really

Fantastic stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the property it is ideally placed with all the local shops and restaurants with in a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be staying again next year

Midweek break in Aviemore

Wwe had a wonderful few days finding Munros to climb near Aviemore. Local bus services are great although there are not many. Aviemore seems to have lost some of its shops and restaurants. Lucikly Tesco is open until 10pm , which makes self catering a challenge if like us you re out all day,

Perfect central location.

Comfortable top floor flat, all clean and well provisioned. Personally did not use all facilities as was out most of time. Would definitely stay in this property again.

Ruim appartement met alles wat we nodig hadden. Goede afstand tot het natuurpark. Het wasrekje was kapot, zodat we hebben moeten improviseren. Er waren weinig haakjes in de keuken en de badkamer om theedoeken en handdoeken op te hangen.

An excellent location

Property is dark (almost completely surrounded by trees on all sides) and old fashioned. Beds are hard. Only got a key for the flat - not one for the main door. Good shower. Reasonable size. Kitchen and equipment was antiquated and a number of unnecessary items of equipment (e.g an oven tray that didn't fit in the oven).Enjoyed Aviemore and the proximity to the centre of the town and all its facilities.

Good base right in Aviemore

Great location right in Aviemore with short walks to shops, pubs and restaurants. A very warm comfortable flat which was ideal for a short 3 day stay arranged at the late minute. Excellent communication from host Jackie.

des randonnés dans un paysage de rêve

Même si l'immeuble mériterait un meilleur entretien l'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Bien situé par rapport au village et néanmoins tout à fait au calme.
