Inbäddat i ett lugnt område, är detta 1940-talet hem 2300 kvm. Och professionellt inredda. Ek antika möbler fylla varje rum. Intressant konstverk pryder väggarna inklusive en hall fylld med tryck föreställande Eugene i början av 1900-talet av den framlidne George Werner. Vid inträde du går in i en vik tak vardagsrum med öppen spis till höger och en formell matsal med plats för 10 eller mer till vänster. Servis, bordstabletter / laddare och trasa blöjor på begäran för middagsbjudningar. Fullt utrustat kök med en tv, med en liten bar och en separat frukostplats med plats för 4-6. Mysiga TV-rum, en drottning sovrum nere intill ett badrum med ett stort badkar och dusch. Tre sovrum på övervåningen - två dubblar och en queen size-svit med TV och omklädningsrum med handfat. Ett badrum med dusch på övervåningen. Stor uppfart med plats att parkera flera bilar plus en husbil, en privat parkliknande trädgård omgiven av höga ceder, hundkäx och lönn träd, rhododendron och hortensior med en konkret uteplats och grill för uteservering. Uteplats är tillräckligt stor för en sittande dining grupp av 25-30. Täckt veranda med plats för kvällen cocktails och utsikt över rosenträdgården. Pack & Play spjälsäng på begäran. Wi-Fi, kabel-TV och dagstidning tillhandahålls. Wash & torktumlare finns.

Stadsbuss tillgängliga i slutet av blocket. Casual dining restauranger inom gångavstånd eller fina middagar 10 minuter. Inom gångavstånd från den vackra Willamette River cykelväg som lämpar sig för promenader, löpning eller cykling runt staden. Fotbollsplaner på Willamette River ca.. 1. 5 miles away. Emerald Park (en stor stadspark inom gångavstånd eller en 4 minuters bilresa) är en utmärkt park för barnen att leka, sommarens konserter, och har en offentlig simhall.

Eugene flygplats och Valley River Shopping Mall ligger 10 minuter bort, eller Santa Clara Square köpcentrum är två miles away. Ninkasi, Hop Valley, och Steelhead Breweries alla bara några miles away. Beroende på vilken riktning du går, det finns vingårdar i överflöd. Pfeiffer Benton-Lane, och Broadley vingårdar i Junction City (norr 10-15 miles) eller kung Estates, Silvan Ridge, söta kinder, Sarver och många andra vingårdar inbäddat tillsammans 20-30 minuter söder. Linda was a pleasure to work with.The house was perfect for 4 older gentlemen in town to see the Ducks beat Wisconsin.The attention to detail was exceptional.I would rate our stay 10 out of 10.

Great Stay

Linda’s home was clean and welcoming. The location was perfect and the yard was beautiful. There were random loud noises that occurred throughout the weekend, we thought from the nearby train. Not sure if this happens regularly. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, everything else was great. Linda is super sweet and greeted us to show us around her home.

Perfect for our stay

This was a great spot and Linda was very helpful and sweet, she even left some goodies for us during our stay. The house accommodates plenty of people and had a great backyard. Although it’s a bit dated, it’s comfortable and a overall great spot

Friend’s reunion and Eugene wedding

Linda’s property is perfect for larger groups (we had 8) because of the amazingly large backyard with seating for 12+. Front porch has 4 comfy Adirondack chairs too. I swear she has dishes, wine glasses and silverware for 25+ and pretty much every serving and cooking item you may EVER need. The AC kept the entire house super cool, even upstairs and we were a 15 min drive from everywhere we needed to be. And her house has a bathtub!!! And the dishwasher is super big and had the hottest sanitizing cycle ever. Everything was super great quality!! Thanks Linda, I would absolutely stay at your place next time.

Nike track meet at Hayward Field

We visited Eugene to attend a Nike track meet at Hayward Field. It worked out perfectly for the group of 8 of us. The house was immaculate with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. The porch and yard are beautiful. Linda was very responsive and helpful. She even left us some delicious lemon blueberry bread to sample! I highly recommend this property.

perfect in every way

It's a beautiful house, with an impeccably clean, museum-like charm, well suited for group meals around the ample dining room table and the multiple, round backyard tables. The large back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers both group patio seating and private, secluded areas. Linda, the owner, clearly takes pride in her property and made every effort to make us comfortable during our stay

Beautiful Garden Oasis

This is a beautiful and pristine home, and Linda is a friendly, welcoming and responsive host. The decor is traditional and historic, updated where it matters with high quality modern amenities. The large, gracious front porch is great for watching the world go by. Huge back patio and yard, table seating, and BBQ grill are perfect for family gatherings. The large yard is immaculately landscaped with gorgeous green lawns and formal gardens. The whole property shows tremendous pride of ownership! All of our restaurant budget ended up going to groceries instead because we never wanted to leave this peaceful oasis :)

Such a pleasant stay!!!

This beautiful house, set in the most lovely yard, was simply perfect for us. The house was very clean, beds were comfy, kitchen very well-supplied with everything anyone could need, and the wine and banana bread Linda left for us was more than we could have asked for! This was more house than the three of us really needed....However, we would stay there again any time!

Lovely retreat in Eugene

It was a treat to stay in this lovely home. There was more than enough room for our family of 4 and the beds were very comfortable. The property was spotless upon arrival and well appointed with everything we needed, and more. The yard and gardens were so beautiful and provided a peaceful and verdant oasis on hot July days. The host was lovely, very communicative and gave us great information about the area which enhanced our stay. All in all a fantastic time! We'd definitely stay here again. Five stars!

Beautiful, functional and peaceful!

We rented this property to hold a bridal shower for my daughter. The stay was perfect! Beautiful exterior and interior. We had everything we needed and then some. Linda was a joy to work with and went over expectations with suggestions and helping to make sure our needs were met. The weekend was perfect and we would definitely stay again. Area was pretty quiet with close access for our needs. Highly recommend for adults and older kids. Top drawer!!

Great place for families

It was a great place to stay and Linda was so accommodating for our family. There was a nice backyard that was shading in the hot summer heat, which was nice. We will come back again.

Immaculate & Wonderful!

Every inch of this property and home are perfection! Gorgeous yard with well tended landscaping. Huge patio that accommodates large gatherings. Perfect front porch for relaxing. The inside felt like visiting family. Beautiful furniture & decor. Comfortable beds, hot shower, plenty of seating. Just perfect! Would definitely stay again! Thanks!!

After a long career as a whole lumber trader I am now a real estate agent with Keller Williams Realty. In 2014 my business partner in Manners Simply (yes, we teach etiquette and specialize in dining skills) and I co-authored an award-winning book "Which Fork Do I Use? Confident and Comfortable Dining." We have been teaching for over 20 years and when we started the book we didn't know it would take us 4-1/2 years to complete. For hobbies, I love to entertain and have parties, to grow pretty flowers, decorate cakes, make sourdough bread, bake cookies and play golf!

Varför värden valde detta boende

This house has seen guests from all over the world. We have had guests from as far away as Australia and England. And that was before we entertained the idea of renting it out! I've loved it from the first day I saw it and hope you will too. It's a perfect setting for families and friends to gather, attend Duck football games, UO graduation or attend world class track and field events.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

When we first moved in my daughter was 8 years old. She wanted a laundry shoot. My husband wanted a front porch and I wanted lots of windows. And it had to be large enough to have my mother move in with us as she aged. There is something wonderful about all the built-in cabinets and storage. The crown moldings and faux painted walls by artist Debra Wilde add warmth and interest to this 1940s house. The backyard is a wonderful place to have a bbq in the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and private yard. Just a piece of local information...River Road at the end of the street is the old Hwy 99 from Portland to California.
