Ideal Alsace Location

The property is very well appointed with all the facilities and amenities you require. The location is quiet and peaceful. The property is within 400 metres of the canal which is great for traffic free bike rides.The family are very welcoming and hospitable, ready to provide advice on the area. It is only a short drive to the Vosges Mountains, the vineyards and interesting places to visit such as Mulhouse, Basel, and Colmar.

A perfect gite

We had a fantastic time in this beautiful gite. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome by the hospitality and kindness shown by Jean, Marie and Beatrice. The gite's grounds are picturesque and it is lovely to be able to sit outside on the terrace. Inside the gite is very well looked after and has everything you need. Jean was very informative with advice and tips on things to do in the local area and there are many excellent days out to be had from Heidwiller. We would especially recommend a visit to the local restaurant and a bike ride along the canal. Europa park, which is an amazing theme park in Germany, is also well worth a visit and is only about an hours drive away, Thanks again Jean and Marie. Hopefully we will see you again! Rose and Danny

Excellent rural retreat

This is a fabulous Gite in rural France. We were greeting by the owners daughter upon arrival and let into the cottage. When the owners returned they presented us with a beautiful home-baked cake and we enjoyed a lovely chat with them. During the booking process, our travel plans changed many times but owners were very supportive and flexible in meeting our needs. The cottage itself is very well appointed with everything we needed and it quickly became our 'home from home'. The village is very quiet [just what we wanted] and a lovely place to wander around with some great photo opportunities in the village and along the canal which runs alongside it. The local restaurant offered an excellent selection of food and drink although sadly, we did not manage to get there on this vacation. With the owners living next door they were particularly welcoming and helpful in suggesting 'places to see'. The cottage itself has an abundance of tourist material for local attractions, museums etc etc. In addition, Switzerland is not too far away either so we took the opportunity to visit Grindelwald and the Eiger. There was also a fantastic automobile museum in Mulhouse which is not too far away. There are a number of large supermarkets either in, or en-route to, Altkirch that can provide everything you may need. This was a very nice break for us traveling back to the Wales from Heidelberg and I cannot recommend this Gite highly enough. Thank you Béatrice & Jean; we hope to return one day to visit you again.

Eine echte Perle und Geheimtip !Eine echte kleine Perle und Geheimtipp !Eine ruhige,blitzsaubere und sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit viel Liebe zum Detail.Die Retro-Accessoires machen machen den Aufenthalt besonders charmant und gemütlich.Dazu gab es außergewöhnliche nette und sehr herzliche, deutschsprechende Gastgeber, welche sich zu jederzeit als Ansprechpartner erwiesen haben.Keine unromantische Schlüsselübergabe durch eine Box ,fanden WIR super !Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.Marion & Wulf K.

Super séjour

Nous y avons passé un superbe séjour au frais pdt la canicule! Hôtes très accueillants et chaleureux. Logement super agréable, propre et bien équipé. Nos enfants et nous même avons apprécié le petit jardin et petits déjeuner en terrasse. Tout pour passer un agréable séjour au calme. Bien situé, tout à disposition en 10 minutes en voiture. Lieux touristiques, découvertes et détente à proximité et autres à moins d'une heure en voiture. Merci beaucoup!

Wunderbar

Gut ausgestattetes Haus, mit geräumiger Terrasse in einem separat zum Haupthaus gelegenen idyllischen Garten. Die große Linde spendete uns Schatten in der Mittagshitze. Colmar ist 50 Km entfernt. Wir waren mit Hund dort und er konnte das ganze Grundstück erkunden, das alles eingezäunt ist. Abends machten wir einen Spaziergang am Kanal Rhône au Rhin, der in 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar war. Altkirch ist 6 Autominuten entfernt und hat einen fantastischen Supermarkt. Im Centre L‘Éclerc findet man alles was man braucht. Wir konnten die Seele baumeln lassen und uns gut ausruhen. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke Marie-Adrienne, Béatrice und Jean😘

Fantastico alojamiento!!

Los propietarios son una familia maravillosa, la casa estaba muy limpia, muy bien ubicada para conocer la Alsacia. Destacar la cercania al canal por donde puedes disfrutar de fantásticos paseos en bici. Una casa totalmente recomendable.

Parfait

Très joli gite au calme. Encore mieux sur place que sur les photos du site. Propriétaire très accueillant et sympathique. Joli jardin fleuri. Il ne manque rien. Joli point de chute pour visiter le sud de l Alsace. Nous gardons précieusement l adresse. N hésitez pas.

Excellent séjour !

Excellent séjour dans cette très agréable maison de Heidwiller, au calme avec sa terrasse donnant sur le jardin très arboré, de nombreux oiseaux à voir et à entendre, de charmants propriétaires, accueillants et chaleureux, et de nombreuses visites dans les environs. Belle sensation d'être en Alsace, c'est aussi ce que nous recherchions. Donc, à recommander !

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, liebenswerte Menschen, tolle Landschaft

Wir waren mit Hund und Velos hier. Das Haus ist sehr schön und komplett eingerichetet, schöner Garten. Die Vermieter sind liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Das Sundgau ist sehr vielfältig und zu Fuss und dem Velo toll zu erkunden. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal hier.

Excellente !!!

Habitués des gîtes et chambres d'hôtes, nous avons été plus que ravis de loger cet été au D'MAISALA "Les mésanges" à Heidwiller !!! Ce gîte entouré de verdure et au calme, offre à tout vacancier qui y est accueilli : le repos, mais également un logement de qualité, lumineux, parfaitement équipé, et surtout décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Mais outre cet aspect pratique plus que confortable, nous remercions sincèrement la Famille LEY pour son accueil chaleureux, ses précieux conseils sur la gastronomie locale et la connaissance de son patrimoine touristique. Bravo !!! Surtout ne changer rien : ce fut parfait !!! Une caresse aux chats de notre part !!! Famille RIZZETTO

Gîte super où rien ne manque très bien placé

Très bon accueil des propriétaires avec ce gîte totalement indépendant. Rien ne manque même la déco pour Noël, un grand espace à vivre avec un confort très apprécié. Nombreuses promenades aux alentours. Nous sommes prêts à revenir.

gîte remarquable pour un séjour agréable

Location très confortable, bien équipée, très propre, et d'une très bonne qualité. Le descriptif de la location est fidèle à l'identique, ainsi que les photos présentées. (ce qui est loin d'être toujours le cas). L'accueil des propriétaires est des plus chaleureux, et vous donnent de bons conseils sur les sites à visiter. Proximité de cette location une ballade s'impose au bord du canal Rhin-Rhône. Ne pas rater non plus le musée du papier de Rixheim avec de superbes fresques murales. Puis pour l'histoire, faire le sentier du km 0 en se rendant à Pfetterhouse (1ère guerre mondiale circuit de 7km5). Notre séjour a été très agréable, et remercions les propriétaires pour leur discrétion. une adresse à conseiller, celle du gîte.

Location au calme idéale pour visiter l'Alsace

Venus de Paris pour passer un séjour auprès de nos enfants qui habitent en Alsace, nous avons eu le plaisir de découvrir un charmant village du Sundgau, Heidwiller (10 kms de Mulhouse), où se cachait une jolie maison entourée d’un beau jardin avec des arbres splendides. Tout était réuni pour passer un agréable séjour dans ce gîte bien équipé, avec confort (bonne literie) et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Merci à M. et Mme LEY ainsi qu’à leur fille pour leur bon accueil. Il ne faut pas oublier la présence de quatre chats (appartenant aux propriétaires), très beaux, gentils et affectueux qui est un petit plus au séjour pour ceux qui les affectionnent. M. et Mme Ley ont le sens de l’hospitalité, la bonne humeur et le désir de faire découvrir cette belle région (sites, villages types et gastronomie ainsi que les petits producteurs) Ainsi nous avons passé de bonnes vacances, dans une ambiance conviviale. C’est avec plaisir que je reviendrai pour me remémorer de bons moments. Je recommande cette location à tous ceux qui souhaitent calme, dépaysement, amabilité et bien être de vivre pour se ressourcer au bon air des plaines et montagnes d’Alsace. On peut également découvrir l’Allemagne et la Suisse situés à environ 30 kms.

Chaudement recommandé

Très bien situé pour découvrir le Sundgau, ce très bel appartement occupant la partie supérieure d'une maison est agréable à vivre et reposant. Tout y est pour satisfaire les personnes exigeantes de qualité et propreté. L'accueil est à la hauteur du logement. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour leurs locataires. Nous y avons déjà séjourné 2 fois et y reviendrons avec plaisir.
