Denna lyxiga villa ligger i Kordere-distriktet i Kalkan och har magnifik utsikt över Kalkan Bay. Villan har tre sovrum med badrum och har en total kapacitet på sex gäster. Samtidigt som det ligger ett kort avstånd från centrum av Kalkan, är det beläget i en upphöjd fredlig miljö och med hjälp av sitt screeningssystem är det avskilt från utsidan, vilket gör det lämpligt för de gäster som söker en hög grad av integritet. Denna plats har också fördelarna på sommarens höjd från att vara några grader svalare än nere i staden, vilket gör att gästerna kan njuta av en drink på den omfattande poolterrassen eller balkongen på första våningen medan de njuter av panoramautsikten.
På bottenvåningen finns en bekväm lounge och välutrustat kök med öppen planlösning, plus ett tvåbäddsrum med eget badrum. Boendet på andra våningen består av två sovrum med dubbelsäng, alla med eget badrum, ett av dem har också en jacuzzi från vilken utsikten kan njutas.
Utomhusområdena har allt som gästerna skulle behöva under sin vistelse, inklusive en utomhus matplats för sex med en stenbyggd grill, gott om solstolar och parasoller, plus en gunga och hängmatta. Det finns ett stort uteplatsområde och bassängdimensionerna är 7. 5 x 5. 4 m, djup 1. 55 m, plus att det har en extra grunt yta (20 cm) 7. 7 x 3 m.
Villan är helt luftkonditionerad, har wi-fi, ett larm- och kamerasystem med stängd krets och parkeringsplatser för två bilar. Villan ligger cirka 5-7 minuters bilresa från centrum (3-3. 5 km). För de gäster som föredrar att ta hand om sig själva finns det flera reatauranter och livsmedelsaffärer som tillhandahåller en gratis hemleveransservice.

A very misleading property

My wife and I booked Villa Yaren for 16 nights through Vrbo. We stayed there for 6 nights on our own and our friends joined us for the 10 nights. Villa Yaren was advertised on Vrbo as being in Kalkan and was pinpointed on the Vrbo map as being in an area that we are very familiar with when staying in Kalkan. In reality the villa was 3 – 4 km away up a very steep slope which was almost impossible to walk up. Even cars had a job to get up the slope to the villa! There was no welcome pack at all not even a pint of milk! That has never happened before in Kalkan – every villa we have stayed in has provided some basic foodstuffs. This meant that after a tiring journey we had to try and get a taxi to take us shopping as there were no shops near enough to walk to. Most of the taxis we used during our stay did not know where this villa was, we eventually found a regular taxi driver who knew where we were. The villa itself was built well but was very poorly equipped. This villa is advertised as sleeping 6 persons, there were 5 dinner plates and 5 mugs only!No tea towels, which we needed as there weren't enough cups and plates. No toaster, just a sort of grill machine that was useless! There were no pool towels and no change of bedding or towels, we had to keep washing bedding and towels throughout our stay. Four of the sunbeds were adequate but 2 were metal with no mattresses on them. Luckily there were only 4 of us staying at the villa. There was no safe but we were told by the agent that there is CCTV and an alarm system and this should suffice, however the CCTV stopped working which we reported but was never fixed. I believe the owner of this villa knew that he had deceived us with the whereabouts of this villa as he did answer his phone and texts from us as we regularly had to call him for help to get a taxi when we first got there, as the taxi office in Kalkan did not know where Villa Yaren was. The photographs shown on the Vrbo site are completely out of date as to what this villa looks like now. Vrbo needs to investigate where this villa is showing on their map as it is completely incorrect. Lesson learnt from this is that we will book with another villa company.

A little piece of heaven

Once you’ve got over the shock of how steep the drive is, and make sure you are shown how to open the front door as there is a little thing you have to do before you gain entry. The villa was clean and bright with a kitchen that had all the basics but could do with a coffee machine. The bedrooms were all light and the bed was supremely comfortable, we both slept very well. The shower heads could do with a good clean and there are a lot of light bulbs out. The pool is very clean and a wonderful temperature. We spent a lot of time at the villa and it was fairly peaceful. Be aware that you are high up in the hills and a 20 min plus ride to Kalkan. We had the best holiday and will be back.

Lovely comfortable villa, needed a longer stay to fully appreciate it.

This was our first visit to Kalkan and we really came up trumps with our villa choice. It’s situated on the hills above the town, away from the hustle and bustle and the location provided fantastic sunsets. The modern villa was big bright and airy, spotless throughout and very comfortable (including the beds). As others have stated it was an easy drive down to Kalkan which was easy to park in and had a lovely selection of eateries and shops. This villa was a good base from which we could explore the local ruins and beaches (by car), we flew in to Dalaman airport which was a 1hr 45min drive away (if you are hiring a car from this airport use Sixt, they were great). If there was one recommendation I would pass to the owners it would be that the kitchen could do with a few extra accessories. We cooked a few meals and missed not having the following items: Scissors, dustpan & brush, tea towel & kitchen cloth to wipe surfaces, measuring jug, mixing bowl. I really do hope we can come back again soon.

Kalkan villa March 2022

Villa is high on the hills overlooking Kalkan and is as impressive as the photos, views are fantastic. Suleyman ( the owner ) lives very close and is avialable to help with any queries, he is a real gentleman and nothing is too much trouble. You do need a car to travel into Kalkan as the villa is approx 1km from the town.

Lovely villa in a great location

This is a spacious modern villa with a lovely pool and great views across the bay, including beautiful sunsets each evening. With Kalkan centre a short 10 min drive away and a handy, small and excellent value supermarket just down the road We found the location ideal. Patara Beach takes about 20 minutes to get to and the famous Saklikent Gorge about 45 mins away, so lots to do and within easy access too. The owner is very welcoming and lives opposite should he need to be contacted. We particularly liked the choice of seating areas outside both upstairs and on the ground floor. Thoroughly recommend and would be more than happy to return.

Villa Magnifique, comme sur les photos

Villa a la hauteur de mes attentes, tres propre, bien amenagee, piscine au top, et tres propre (un pisciniste vient tout les matins pour la nettoyer). La vue sur la mer est a couper le souffle! Notre chambre avait une terrasse vue sur la piscine puis sur la mer, on ne s’en lasse pas! Le seul hic serait le manque d’equipement dans la cuisine, mais rien de tres genant... La ville avec tout les restaurant boutiques et supermarchés est a 5-10 max en voiture. Nous avons vraiment passé d’excellente vacances, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir et Merci a Christine pour l’accueil :)
