Foremost Host !!

Fabulous gardens. Host was very helpful. Wi-Fi worked very well, very safe neighborhood. Garage with remote for our car. I'm not a skier anymore, but his garage even has a heater for the winter in Wisconsin no less, just an amazing property

Short night

Place was exactly what we needed for a one night stay during bowling. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. Fred (the owner) was easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. Highly recommend this home.

Very Nice Wausau Apartment

I stayed here on the way home from a guys trip of hiking and backpacking in the UP. The apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable. Shower was very nice and beds were comfortable. Quiet and in a good neighborhood. I’ll definitely stay here again should I come this way.

Wausau Paradise

This is our second time staying with Fred while attending WSPA in Wausau. The property is exactly as stated, Fred even let us trailer a pool table up to set up in the garage for the weekend. Could not ask for a better property or host

Great stay!

We had a great night night in Wausau with friends thanks to Fred's great vrbo! There was plenty of room for each couple, a great seating area to hang out in and a crazy huge TV to watch a movie on. Fred is nice enough to be working on getting a sweatshirt sent back to me that I forgot that I had just bought in Costa Rica. Such a nice place and nice host!

The Perfect property for our stay in Marathon County

Our host, Fred, is a fascinating, warm and welcoming person. The property is spacious, well maintained and the gardens/deck spaces very inviting places to relax. I highly recommend this property for anybody coming to the greater Wausau area. We came to the area to hike the 43 miles of the Ice Age Trail that run through Marathon County and finished on the last day. This property is roughly 15-20 miles from the various trail segments and Wausau has a fantastic selection restaurants to satisfy everybody's tastes. We will definitely return when we take on the IAT in Lincoln and Taylor counties.

Second Stay!

Love the two car drive in garage that goes straight into the whole finished basement! Love the stone landscaped backyard that always has deer in the morning roaming! Great communication! Unique, clean and cozy

Park-like setting

We stayed 3 nights because Wausau was an easy drive to visit 2 different friends and for my husband to go birding. The crowning glory of this rental is the absolutely gorgeous back yard with water feature and ample seating. It was like having our own, private park.

Just what we needed

This place was perfect for us. Although the bedrooms are not private, we made it work. The little fireplace was nice and kept my grandson warm. Beds were comfortable and it's a nice comfy place. Thanks Fred for your hospitality.

Emphasis is cleanliness, house is newly carpeted, remodeled with new furniture. The floor plan is extensive with 4 rooms total, located in beautiful setting close to everything. There is plenty of drawers, coat racks and other storage areas. Exceptional, private, very clean 2 car heated garage which is for guest use only. In fall and winter, garage is heated to 65 degrees. House has 24 hr fresh air ventalator system ensuring a fresh air atmosphere even in winter. Also house has new soft water system for extremely soft, comfortable shower.
