Gillade: Läge
I loved this cottage. It was equipped with absolutely everything you need… a fan would have been welcome in this unusual, extreme heat but the shower was perfect for cooling off. It was clean, welcoming and comfortable and the wine, chocolates, milk and tea, on arrival, were very much appreciated. The location was perfect for Chatsworth, and surrounding countryside with lots of dog friendly walks. Great, friendly local pub and coffee shop. The stairs are steep, but it is a beautiful old cottage, so not unexpected and there were sturdy grab rails. I will definitely return. Thanks Jane

The location is fantastic for walking - especially straight of the front door into the Chatsworth House park. The cottage has everything you need for a full weeks stay. There was parking across the little bridge everyday (except the bank holiday weekend we arrived…) but we preferred to pay the 6.95 for 24hrs to park in the car park across the road. Perfect for exploring the Peak District.

Another excellent stay at Brook Cottage. It is nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen. We have stayed several times at Brook Cottage because it is located in such a good location just outside the Chatsworth Estate. Not to mention the nearby restaurants and pubs. We look forward to our next visit next year.

Charming little cottage with everything we needed for our weekend away. Ideal location for Chatsworth and exploring local area. Cottage was lovely and cool in the heat but imagine it would be equally very cosy in the winter with the log burner. Thank you for a wonderful, comfortable stay!
