Hilltop Cottage ligger intill huset pÄ kullen och Àr perfekt för par som letar efter en lugn plats att koppla av i Eagle Harbor, Michigan. Hilltop Cottage Àr en av vÀldigt fÄ hyttuthyrningar Äret runt i omrÄdet. Stugan, högt uppe pÄ fyrkanten med utsikt över hamnen, ligger bara en kort promenad till stranden. GÄ upp pÄ verandan och njut av den vackra utsikten över de omgivande bergen och det glittrande hamnvattnet.

HILLTOP COTTAGE
En liten, privat stuga inklusive ett sovrum med en dubbelsÀng, ett mysigt vardagsrum, fullt utrustat kök, badrum och pittoreska veranda. Denna stuga Àr idealisk för ett par, men ett barn kan rymmas pÄ den utdragbara futon soffan i vardagsrummet, om det behövs. Inga husdjur snÀlla.

Updates to kitchen and bathroom were excellent, still keeping the quaintness. Couldn't get wifi to work, but we survived. Close to lots of places we visited.

The Yellow cottage is complete and ready to go. There is everything you need to Cook meals, work on puzzles, sit on the deck and read or just enjoy a spectacular view of the harbor. Its close to the beach and thats where i spent a good share of my time. its a short drive to Copper Harbor. Mt.Baldy is great place to hike and the trailhead is right up the road. Less than 10 min.s Good place to go if you want to relax. It is quiet and peaceful;l

Beautiful and relaxing get away

We appreciated how nice, clean and comfortable everything was. We fully enjoyed touring the harbor, the Quincy copper mine, and hiking several local trails. We were fortunate to hit the peak of the fall colors, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous!

Peaceful

Enjoyed a peaceful stay in the Hilltop Cottage and Eagle Harbor. We really enjoyed the books of local history that were available to read as we sat on the porch. Great stay!

Wonderful Getaway

Perfect!

Great location! The lighthouse and beach are within walking distance. The beach has fire pits if you want to have a fire. The house was perfect for two people! We would definitely come back!

The Westlake family has been in Eagle Harbor for 5 generations. My great-grandfather, J.C. Westlake, purchased our family home in 1946. My father, Tom, attended the one-room schoolhouse in Eagle Harbor and our family has lived in Eagle Harbor and managed rentals every year since. I, Rodney, grew up spending entire summers in Eagle Harbor - known to us kids in town as paradise. It has not been difficult to instill that same love for Eagle Harbor and the entire Keweenaw Peninsula in our children, Lucy and Jack (J.C.).

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

There is no better location in town than the lighthouse ridge overlooking the harbor. From our cottage you can take a two minute walk to the lighthouse overlook on Lake Superior and a one minute walk down the sand dune to the Eagle Harbor sand beach (best on the north shore). Everything in town is walking distance from our location and you never have to share a busy road or highway.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The best part about the Hilltop cottage is the view from the front porch/main room. Facing south and overlooking the Harbor, the views are incredible all year long, but especially in the Fall and early Spring. The cottage is simple and efficient with a queen sleigh bed and a work desk in the bedroom, and a recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom, all utilizing the space perfectly.
