Vår stuga ligger bara ett kort kvarter från vackra, hundvänliga, vita sandstränder. Vi erbjuder strandstolar, parasoller, kylare, badhanddukar och strandleksaker för barnen.

Vi har två utomhusskärmade verandor och en inhägnad gård för barn & husdjur. Det finns en grill, tvättmaskin och torktumlare, cyklar och trädgårdsspel belägna i skjulet. Inuti finns det ett pittoreskt vardagsrum / kök. Det finns två sovrum med eget badrum. Ett sovrum har en queen size-säng och det andra en fullstor säng. Sovrummet med full säng har en stege till loftet där du hittar två enkelsängar. Loftområdet är bäst för barn.

Livsmedelsbutiker och restauranger ligger 10 minuters bilresa från Port St. Joe. Vårt grannskap är utmärkt att cykla. Det finns en trottoar längs Hwy 98 så att cykla över till Mexico Beach är en vind. Om du vill besöka Cape San Blas delstatspark, handlar det om en 30 minuters bilresa från vår stuga.

Love the Banana Cabana

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is clean and cozy, kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs, and the neighborhood is quiet. It is just steps away to a beautiful, dog-friendly beach. We enjoyed riding the bikes provided, and communication with the owner was excellent.

Snowbird Retreat

Very easy self check in. The property is clean and stocked with basic necessities. This cozy cottage is quiet in a safe and friendly neighborhood. There are two screened porches and a fenced yard for spending time outside. There is a small library to select a book and enjoy your escape! The beach is right out the window. Great walkability on the beach and around town.

Quiet neighborhood, close to beach. The Banana Cabana is the perfect bungalow with a good selection of beach chairs and everything you need for a day at the beach. Keyless entry is a plus. Awesome little place to relax and decompress!

Great Stay!

We so enjoyed our month at the Banana Cabana. Well equipped for cooking meals. Loved the walk in showers! Mexico Beach and Port St Joe are quiet hidden gems for relaxation and beach time without crowds. The book library was a bonus! Beds were comfortable. Quiet area with nice neighbors. Liked it so much, we are coming back!

Just a Slice of Heaven

We had spent a winter on 30A in Blue Mountain in 2018. Took a trip to Apalachicola and drove thru Mexico Beach and St. Joe Beach. My husband made the comment that if we ever came to Florida again, this is where we would stay. Back in Wisconsin we watched in horror as Hurricane Michael destroyed the area. Early this year we were feeling the need for a beach vacation, so we checked this area again and were happy to see that it was coming back to life. We have spent the entire month of October in The Banana Cabana and we both agree that it has been one of our favorite vacations. The Banana is the quintessential beach cottage. It is not a carbon copy of the new, indistinguisable from one another, beach homes that permeate the area since the hurricane. Banana is loaded with charm and every possible convenience. We were able to prepare full meals without issue. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms modern and beautiful. There is also a cute little loft with 2 twin beds. There are 2 screened porches with comfortable furniture. One even has a porch swing! The porches became an extension of the living space. The yard is fenced and our pup spent many hours hunting geckos. There are beach chairs and a beach wagon to haul everything to the beach which is a very short walk away. We saw dolphins, pelicans and ghost crabs. There was a fenced in area where turtle eggs waited to hatch. The neighbors to the Banana were extremely friendly and helpful. Speaking of helpful, Lynn the lucky owner of the Banana, was easily accessible. One WEEKEND we noticed that there didn't seem to be any hot water. We called Lynn at about 10 in the morning, and there was a new water heater installed by mid afternoon. It will be difficult to leave here tomorrow morning but we have next year to look forward to. We've already reserved the Banana Cabana for next October.

Great little place!

We really enjoyed our stay. They had plenty of beach accessories from chairs to toys, even the cart to help you get them to the beach! Nice quiet neighborhood, very short walk to the beach. We also liked the screened in porches. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved Banana Cabana!

Very clean and nice beach house in close proximity to the beach! Very easy walk. We loved the fenced in yard for our pets and the beach cart with large wheels was great. Close drive to restaurants and stores. The house had everything we could have needed. (The only thing I can think of that could have been useful would be a vacuum— Just to make sure we didn’t leave dog hair behind). The owners were great to work with and promptly responded to messages. Also met some very nice neighbors! We had a great time and hope to return! We will recommend to our friends. Thank you!

Perfect beach cottage

We loved this house and can't wait to stay there again. It was the perfect size for two people or a small family and the fenced yard was great for our dogs. It is on a very quiet street 1 row back from the main road and a super easy walk right to the beach access. The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. We loved taking the dogs for a long beach walk every morning . If you like laid back beach life you can't beat the Banana Cabana!

Great Place Near the Beach

Property was in a quiet area near the beach. The beach was visible from the property and easy access to the beach,. The cottage was very clean and as advertised. The property manager was easy to work with. I loved the 2 screened-in porches in early morning and liked the fenced-in yard for our 2 dogs.

Disappointed

The inside of the cottage was covered with black dog hair. One of the showers had mildew along the floor by the door. Even though I swept the floors every day I could not get all of the dog hair out of the cottage. We’ve been staying in this area for the past 10 years in February and March and this is by far the worst place we’ve ever stayed. We will not be back.
