Amazing!

We had a great time! The place is very clean, warm and cozy. the view from the property is awesome!! It’s so close to the ski hill that you can come and rest in between. A lot of activities around the area. We plan to come again in summers!

Winter stay at Hidden Valley

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to winter wonderland! Very clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. We loved having access to a wood burning fireplace with a beautiful view as well as the proximity to the ski hill and spa! James and Susanne were incredibly responsive and shared a ton of recommendations for things to do and see in Huntsville. We would love to return in the future!

Beautiful Property!

All of the amenities that were listed were available. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The only downfall was all of the hills…but that is probably because our family lives in the flattest part of Ontario. The beach was close by. Only a 2 min drive to Deerhurst (which we did several times a day for a dance competition). Highly recommend!!

Great spot!

Our family very much enjoyed our time here. The place was newly renovated and clean. The layout is excellent, with a master bedroom on the 3rd floor, and two bedrooms on the 1st floor. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. And the hosts had gone out of their way to leave nice, welcoming touches. The only minor issues were that the heat pump at night was a bit loud in the lower bedrooms (I turned it off) and there was some ice on the front walkway (we walked carefully). All in all, a great spot that our family really enjoyed staying at.

Bridal Weekend

VRBO My family appreciated the home and family decor in the condo for our bridal weekend stay. The property was perfect for wedding preparations, hosting meals, and accommodating guests. We were fortunate to have spectacular weather to appreciate the beautiful lake view and time on the dock.

Awesome chalet

We had a great time at Susanne and James chalet, all the comfort a big family needs. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and fit pefectly in the 3 bedrooms, the renovations they just did are awesome, the kitchen has everything one needs. Communication very good, Susanne answers very fast to all our messages. Overall a very relaxing week for us. Would be back if we can afford it, a bit pricey if you don't split the cost between families.

Autumn colours

Great space for us to have a small family getaway with our 2 & 4 yr old and their grandma. Loved being surrounded by the awesome fall colours and took full advantage of access to Hidden Valley resorts indoor pool. The multi level layout has plenty of stairs that make it less accessible for some, but worked for us.

A Wonderful Holiday Weekend

We stay at this rental for the Labour Day Weekend and we could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. There were 5 adults and 2 infants ( 26 and 7 months) and the quality of condo was top notch. The Kitchen contained any appliance/tool that you needed and the bed and linen quality was top notch. We all had wonderful sleeps. We make great use of the beach access and enjoyed the fire works on Sunday evening. There was nothing that we needed or wanted that was not supplied. The treats left by the owners were throughly enjoyed and, even on. short stay, the access to water and dryer was greatly appreciated. We would return again for sure.

Great spot for a ski weekend

Our family of 4 had a wonderful weekend skiing Hidden Valley and this chalet was the perfect home base. Clean, lots of space and lots of little extras. The Ontario park pass let us access arrowhead park to go skating and the membership pass to Hidden Valley Resort gave us access to the pool and hot tub which the kids loved. My youngest guy also loved the little snack basket on the counter. :). Owners were great and responsive to any requests we had. We' definitely had a great stay and will likely be back next ski season.
