Fastigheten är ett walesiskt bondgård, moderniserat och utökat med den ursprungliga delen från 1730-talet. gården är omgiven av 14 tunnland park och bete. Det är upp till en asfalterad uppfart. Den har en stor trädgård med utsikt i alla riktningar. Huset ligger en kort promenad till Menai Straits med den walisiska kustvägen. Den huvudsakliga kustcykelvägen går längs vägen där fastigheten är åtkomst från. Snowdonia National Park ligger en kort promenad i motsatt riktning från kusten!
Huset är möblerat del traditionellt, del eklektisk / konstnärlig med alla moderna bekvämligheter. Det finns områden i trädgården att grilla eller att sitta och koppla av.
I närheten finns alla de walisiska slott. Zip Wire, Gå nedan och Surfa Snowdonia samt en mängd platser att besöka. Anglesey, Conwy, Llandudno, alla med 10 miles.

Luxurious weekend

Probably the most luxurious home we have rented, everything about the house, the amazing gardens and overall location are just fantastic. Sian is the perfect host and I'm so glad that we chose to stay here for the Platinum Jubilee weekend. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Fantastic

Y Wern is a beautiful home, well furnished and very comfortable with everything that you would need for a holiday or short break. The gardens are exceptional. When you need some entertainment, there is a games room with pool table, table tennis and darts. Wi-fi good, comfy beds, nicely equipped kitchen. Only a couple of minor issues which didn’t spoil our stay.

Better than we’d hoped for

We had a fantastic stay here. There were 8 of us in total, including children, and the house was a great size. All the bedrooms had plenty of space, the dining room easily catered for us all every evening, and the 2 lounges provided a variety of space for everyone to come together, or have a bit of quiet time. The location was also great. There’s a Co-op a short drive away, and the walk to the seafront and nature reserve was lovely on the first day. All in all, a great place to stay in and relax, or use as a base for seeing some lovely countryside, towns and castles.

Magical Christmas

Wow. A beautiful, imposing but cosy property which felt like home from the moment we stepped inside. Despite some terrible weather we celebrated a wonderful family Christmas and there was everything we needed including a wonderful real Christmas tree in the drawing room and a huge dining room to seat the whole family comfortably. My mother particularly enjoyed browsing through all the books, magazines and artwork found throughout the house. I would love to return in the summer.

Fabulous

I have stayed in many many cottage rentals over the years and put Y Wern in my top 5. The property has everything and more. Extremely well equipped, decor so classy and interesting. Bedrooms large and the beds soooo comfortable. A fab games room and the piece de resistance gardens to die for. We had an amazing weekend and despite a gloomy weather forecast it turned out beautiful. Drinks and meals outside for which we were all so grateful. Thank you Sian for allowing us the use of your amazing property. We will be back

A great place to relax and enjoy the company of friends

Sian was the perfect host…the house was all that we hoped for and it made our stay memorable. The welcome pack and instructions / information that were waiting for us when we arrived was a pleasant surprise and helped us plan our days out. The location was just so convenient for visiting the surrounding area. All in all a wonderful few days that none of us will forget Thanks Sian Rob xx

Just as good if not better than we imagined!

Ages ranged from 84 to 8 and we all had an amazing time! From the tennis table room, to the enormous gardens and the wonderful, beautiful house. We seriously couldn't have asked for a more beautiful house. With only a short walk from the beach, our dog loved the early morning walks when the tide was out. Honestly couldn't recommend this property and Sian enough.

Relaxing stay in lovely home

We had an excellent time staying in Sian’s home as three generations. Communication with Sian was very good. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The gardens were perfect for exploring, having a relax or playing games.

Beautiful country house

Could not rate this house any more, and was the perfect location for a family weekend away especially post-lockdown. Sian was so easy to contact and checked in that everything was OK. The grounds were absolutely stunning, all of the rooms were lovely (comfy beds and amazing sheets) and it really felt like a home from home. The kitchen had every pot, pan and utensil you would need to cook. We made use of the large dining room and cosy log burner throughout our stay. The house was also in a great location with close proximity to the village, walks, beaches! We all agreed we would 100% stay here again and already looking at dates for next year!

Amazing house, beautiful setting

We stayed here for a week as an extended family to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. The house was fabulous, had wonderful vibes and suited us perfectly. We met Sian, the Landlord, and she was lovely, she let us come in a little early and then emailed me to say a later checkout would be fine as cleaners were not coming until later. Thanks very much, we had a wonderful time. Xx

A great Week in North Wales staying at YWern Llanfairfechan.

This property surpassed my expectations, even more spacious than I though it would be. Sian provided a beautiful and welcoming home, with lots of nice touches. I found the kitchen easy to cook in with plenty of equipment, just like at home. All of the furnishings were both comfortable and beautiful. we would very much like to return here.

Y Wern (The Alder Tree) has a welcoming, relaxed homely feel. All who stay here, say they love the privacy; being totally in one's own space. Y Wern Country House is an ideal place to stay in summer and winter respectively. Log burners at the ready for the colder periods!
