Such a nice place

We loved our recent trip to Luna Encantada. We were with a group of 40 friends and the complex was perfect for us. Our condo was nice and we felt very safe there. Everyone that worked there were friendly and helpful.

Never a disappointment

I have stayed at Luna Encantada in the past and I will definitely return again and again. We stayed in H1 this time as it was two couples and we wanted the two king beds. Great staff, great location, great owner communication. Anna took great care of us and got all our housekeeping needs taken care of Abdias took care of everything and more for us on the beach (what an incredible staff there, I can not say enough about how they all go above and beyond). The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to EVERYTHING. Thank you Steve for opening up your condo to us. Can't wait to get back to Playa del Carmen.

First time in Playa

The property was exceptional and the owner (Steve) and manager (Edith) were very attentive to our needs. Property was well furnished and had everything we needed. We walked to everything including 5th Ave and ferry to Cozumel. Edith arranged for Polo and local Mayan to pick us up at the airport and he arranged and was our guide to a Manatee Cenote and to Tulum and Sacatun (underwater cave/river). It was exceptional day. Would highly recommend the property and Playa. A great experience all around.

Paradise in Playa

This unit is a fabulous place to stay in Playa! The condo development is directly on the beach and is just steps to 5th Avenue. This unit has a great set-up for 4 friends or 2 couples. It has everything you need for a great stay. We REALLY enjoyed the outdoor lounge set that included a couch and two chairs. I have stayed in many units here, and some owners just haven't grasped how important a clean, updated and comfortable outdoor seating area is. (I see many units that still have rundown, uncomfortable sets from 5 to 10 years ago!) This unit is well appointed, nicely updated and the location shelters it from any noise from adjacent properties. The owner was great to deal with, but most important is his fabulous on-site manager, Edith, who is just the BEST! She is attentive, available and is a wealth of knowledge regarding the unit, the development, and Playa overall. You can't go wrong renting H1!!

Playa del Carmen

The condo was conveniently located to town and the ferry to Cozumel. Unfortunately the beach had sargassum so we could not go in the ocean - which could not be controlled by the complex. They were working hard to clean it up. As a result the pool was well utilized and well positioned to view the beach and ocean. The condo was well appointed with beautiful local wood carvings. With the complex being gated it provided security. The staff was friendly and helpful - we particularly enjoyed Abdias who took care of the pool and beach. We appreciated the liberal cancellation policy given the Covid situation.

Perfect little getaway!

Awesome beach views, property is VERY well kept! The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. So close to everything that you could need and want, we will be back for sure! WE LOVED IT!

Great for 2 couples

Very convenient to walking to anywhere in Playa del Carmen. The complex was a great size; not too small not too large. So many restaurants to choose from. Out most favorite restaurant was a Mayan restaurant on 38th with a jungle theme. We cooked breakfast every day in the great kitchen. We had lunch several times in the condo and went out to dinner every day. The view from the patio was great. The pation was well proteced from any wind. Was very quiet.

Great location, nicely decorated, clean. Really can't think of anything that needs to be improved. Unit manager was great - ran into a problem when we had mistakenly arranged a ride two hours later than actually needed, and she helped us find a car that picked us up in 15 minutes. Already looking at dates for next year.

Absolutely fantastic!

Luna Encantada H1 is the perfect location to spend a week in beautiful Playa del Carmen. We just spent the past week basking in the sun on the lovely beach just outside our door. The accommodations are impeccable and the service is warm and friendly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this location for a vacation. Steve is an excellent owner and is extremely responsive. You can't go wrong staying here! Also, the property manager, Edith was very helpful and a joy to work with!

Luna is a perfect vacation spot.

Luna Encantada is the a great vacation spot, close to all the stores, restaurants, etc. We have stayed in various condos at Luna multiple times previously, and found this particular condo to be perfect for 4 people, it is just as pictured. Steve was very easy to work with during the booking process. My only concern before booking, was the comment in another review about the beds being hard, but decided with the convenience of a ground floor unit, we would just deal with it. I was so happy to find that problem has been fixed, with mattress toppers and the beds were very comfortable. There was a seaweed issue during our visit, but this is not the owners fault and they are working very hard to clean it up and it will not deter us from returning. We are looking forward to staying in this unit again on our future trips to Playa.

WOW, what a little slice of heaven in Mexico.

We have been all over this area of Playa Del Carmen the last 15 years and stayed in a lot of different condo's and all inclusive resorts, this is top of the list. The condo location is spot on if you want the 5th ave energy and very secure. Condo was very clean and updated. Look forward to coming back.

Incredible location!

I loved loved loved Luna Encantada! The condo was beautiful, right next to the pool, the location was everything and the staff were impeccable! Starting the Steven the owner, whose communication was prompt and genuine. The condo was not ready when we arrived but on top of being apologetic he offered one refunded night. Turns out the property manager, Edith, had a crime committed against her the evening we arrived and she still managed to come over and welcome us and remedy linens for the night. And there were many staff throughout the complex, but Jonathan was a standout. My mom has mobility issues and he always was there to assist her and even to his own time to to research medical supply companies to be able to make her stay In Playa better. The condo was arranged perfectly for her space wise. There was at least one shower she could walk into and sit down in. The pool would be the only change where it was not mobility challenged friendly, but we made it work. The restaurants on either side of the condo catered to us daily and when we left, the popular 5th st was only 1/2 a block away. My favorite things about this complex was meeting people who have come back year after year. I cannot wait to come back to Luna and enjoy this space again and again!

Paradise in Playa del Carmen

This was my first trip to Playa but what an experience! Not knowing anything about the area makes planning iffy but, boy, did I get it right. The condo is ideally located right on the beach and only a block from 5th Avenue. The pictures made the unit look great but, if anything, it was even more amazing in person. The staff at Luna Encantada was very friendly and helpful. Edith, the property manager, introduced herself and helped to make our visit a great one. There is plenty of security and the noise level is very low. The unit was clean and well stocked with towels. Maid service is every other day. The kitchen had 5 gallon water jugs stocked for us. My only complaint is that the mattresses are rock hard. I am used to pillow top and foam mattresses so the extreme firmness was unsettling. If you are planning a vacay in Playa del Carmen, you can't go wrong staying here.

Loction, view and great condo.

Condo is well appointed and very comfortable for 2 couples. Location is perfect, right on the beach between 5th Ave and the ocean. Great beach and swimming. Very little noise from 5th Ave. Fantastic restaurants close by and within 5-6 minutes walking distance to Mega, Walmart and Dac (Best place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables). Staff were fantastic and they made you feel very welcomed.

Serenity in the heart of the action!

Our family of four spent a week at this amazing place! H1 is an ideal unit in a new complex. The convenience of ground level can't be underestimated, even for our active family. The pool and beach are just steps away. Yet, the H1 unit is set back in a little so you can sit in quiet peace if you prefer. The unique floorplan and interior decor is luxurious. H1 is well kept fully fuctional. Luna is right on the beach and a block off the main drag--5th Avenue. Luna is only a couple blocks from the bus depot and in between the two peers were all the action is. Yet, tucked down by the beach it was quiet and secure for a good nights sleep. While this is a condo, the Luna property staff and Adin the server are politely available to serve you food and drink so it is like a hotel but with the benefit of fully independent units--and much nicer! We liked the fact that there are so many great resturaunts of different venues to try that are so close by such as Wah Wah, Carboncitos, Fusion, etc... Thank you Luna Encantada H1!

Summer 2013 Best Vacation Ever!

We spent 2wks in this wonderful condo. I must share that we have been visiting this region since the early 90's. We even got married in Playa! This is a vacation we work hard and look forward to for months. We love to try different places and appreciate the experience of each new visit. That being said, this place is hands down our absolute favorite. The apartment is ultra spacious and comfortable. The on site staff are great you definitely get a sense of being home. There is always a staff member at the front gate or just cruising around to make sure everything is ok. I have to give kudos to Aden, although he is not an employee of Luna he is always present and honestly if it wasn't for him our time on the beach would not have been as awesome. Aden is there to help you with the loungers on the beach, he will run and get you food from the nearby restaurants to put it simply he will get you anything you need down to an ice chest for your drinks on the beach. He's an amazing, humble, modest and hardworking person. The entire time we were there we felt at home. Many times we left all our items on the loungers and went for a stroll down the beach for long periods of time and we knew everything was safe with Aden there. Other pluses are the cleaning service. You get a cleaning every other day with the rental fee but we opted for daily service for extra and the ladies were sweet and great. The kitchen is so spacious. There is a very convenient washer and drier. And the living room has a sofa bed. The pool is clean and refreshing and they even provide plenty of pool toys for your use. Other extras, loaner bikes, a convenient parking garage for your car rental and of course one of the most obvious things, location location location :-) Again this has been our best stay after over a dozen visits. We can't wait to go back.
