The location is unbeatableâjust a 10-minute walk to Trinity College, and right next to the Westgate Shopping Centre.
Parking is in a secure underground lot. Itâs quite expensive during the day, but very convenient. A helpful tip: from 5 pm to 6 am, parking at Westgate costs only ÂŁ6. During the daytime, there's a nearby lot just a 3-minute walk away that also offers parking for ÂŁ6.
The host was excellentâvery responsive and easy to communicate with via both messages and phone calls.
The apartment is clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished with high-end amenities. It comfortably fits six people. The two bedrooms each have their own private bathrooms and are separated by a large living room, providing excellent privacy for two families or couples. Thereâs also a balcony facing the water, which was a lovely spot to relax.
The living area includes a dining table for eight, a cozy couch, and a large side tableâperfect for organizing all the kidsâ stuff. The host provided a baby cot (very helpful), though note there is no high chair. Towels were high quality, from John Lewis.
The only downside during our July stay was the heatâwith temperatures above 30°C and no air conditioning, the fans werenât very effective. We had to keep windows and the balcony door open at night, but there were no mesh screens, so flies would come in if lights were on.
We enjoyed our stay. The apartment's thoughtful layout, comfort, and perfect location made it a fantastic choice.
