Fastigheten ligger 3 min från centrum av Keene, 15 minuter från Olympic Sports Complex, 20 min från Lake Placid och 20 min från Whiteface Mountain.

Anpassad byggdes 2008 av en känd lokal hantverkare, erbjuder detta 3000 kvm / ft hem en öppen planlösning med katedraltak, gourmet kök, en vedeldad spis, tre vackert inredda sovrum och ett rymligt sovloft. Luftigt och fritt, interiören har designats och inredats i regionens stil med komfort, enkelhet och underhållning i åtanke. Den stora verandan med utsikt över jätte- och orkanbergen inbjuder dig att planera din dag över en morgon kopp kaffe och koppla av efter en dag med utomhus äventyr med Nichols Brook roligt babbling i bakgrunden.

Sovrummet på bottenvåningen har en queen size-säng och egen tillgång till veranda. På övervåningen sovrummet har en queen size-säng med vacker utsikt över bergen. Det tredje sovrummet, på trädgårdsplanen, innehåller en king size-säng, en tvilling våningssäng och en stor garderob. Varje sovrum har eget badrum. Dessutom har loftet två dagliga sängar och spelet / tv-rummet har en bäddsoffa i queen size-säng. Matsalen bord sitter 10. Huset har strålande värme hela tiden.

Great stay, clean, location was perfect for what we needed. The home was beautiful, even better than the photos, loved the detail of everything. Easy check-in. Plenty of room. Everyone enjoyed this house, especially the porch. Would love to go back.

Great stay as usual

Nous avons séjournés pour la seconde fois à ce chalet. Nous aimons beaucoup le fait que ce soit proche de presque l'intégralité de tous les sentiers de randonnée. Egalement, le chalet est très confortable. Nous aimons avoir des épices dans l'armoire afin de ne pas avoir à devoir tout acheter sur place si l'on veut cuisiner un peu. Nous reviendrons ! We stayed for the second time at this chalet. We really liked that it's close to almost all of the hiking trails. Also, the chalet is very comfortable. We like to have spices in the cupboard so that we don't have to buy everything locally if we want to cook a little. We will come back !

A wonderful week away with family

The house is even more impressive in person! I love all of the unique details throughout like the moose drawer pulls in the main level bathroom. The owner was very responsive with my questions beforehand. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Retreat!!

Everything about this property was top-notch, from the location to the Adirondack style, to the thoughtful touches throughout. The location in Keene is just a very short ride to Lake Placid, but honestly we didn’t stray too far from home base. There are so many hiking trails nearby, with lovely shops and markets as well. We stocked up on groceries in Saranac Lake at the Aldi there, so didn’t even have to go out for meals. We would highly recommend this home!!

Amazing Keene Chalet

This was an amazing property! It was clean, beautiful, spacious and well appointed. It was perfect for our extended family that included 2 small children and 6 adults. We enjoyed the sound system, the fireplace and the fabulous kitchen. The decor was so tasteful and perfect for a mountain home. We’d love to stay there again!

Awesome rental!

We had a wonderful time staying here! Location was great! The attention to detail in the home was impeccable down to the bathroom cabinet knobs! There was more than enough space for the 6 of us. House was fully stocked with all necessities needed! I would highly recommend this home to others looking for a great place to stay!

Great Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The property is very nice and the owner was the most responsive I’ve experienced. The pictures are very accurate, and the interiors are absolutely lovely and very comfortable. All the amenities you could ever want. Great spot for a family get together. The check in process was simple and the owner provided a very helpful property book that explained everything prior to trip.

Peace and Quiet in the Mountains

When we travel to ADK, we are always hoping for some time to just rest and enjoy the mountains. We came here with three generations, and everyone loved the property. We spent hours sitting on the porch enjoying the view, the kids loved the foosball table in the basement, and the kitchen was incredibly well appointed. Thanks for the great stay!

Thoughtful and Quiet

Convenient location to all the hikes and to Lake Placid in a very quiet setting. The location and house is great for families and also outdoor enthusiasts. House is well thought out with Adirondack decor and twig work. Property was clean and is convenient for more than one family as each main sleeping area has its own bathroom and floor.

Fantastic House for a Family

This house was an amazing spot for our family to stay during Ironman weekend. Close enough to Lake Placid to easily get in and out of town. Plenty of space for all of us to relax, dine together, etc. And the giant porch was fantastic to relax any time day or night. Highly recommended if you are staying in this area.

Perfect location for a quiet, mountain family getaway

The property is immaculate, beautiful, and well-suited for a family vacation. We enjoyed the porch, the fireplace, and the game room. Local hikes were easy to access. Sitting on the porch, you see the mountains and hear only a rushing stream and songbirds. Chris was a wonderful host with quick replies and many suggestions for area fun. We normally spend 101-4 days camping in the central ADKs in the summer. This was a different experience in the High Peaks Region and the home was a great place to return to after a day of exploring.

Perfect Spot

the house, the property, and the owner all exceeded expectations. the house was perfect for our needs. the fireplace/hearth was amazing and right up our alley. Chris was an excellent host, communication was easy and prompt, very responsive. There was quite a bit of back forth as we contemplated extending our stay due to weather and also shear enjoyment and chris was super accommodating and gracious. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend. the town of keene is lovely and the house is super convenient to town. just an overall great experience.

Incredible Adirondack property

This is a beautiful property in a great location just outside of Keene. The property is remote (though there is prompt plowing during snow storms), but only a short distance from Keene and a full range of outdoor activities (in the winter - skiing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice climbing, just to name a few). The home itself is well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed, including broadband internet access. The views are incredible, both those overlooking the mountains from the porch and those next the large hearth in the living area. The host was also very responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed prior to and during our arrival. We will certainly be staying here again.
