Your private beach is waiting for you, Bras d' Or Lake, Cape Breton
We have 3 fully equipped, non smoking cottages. Youâll find them nestled on 6 acres on the shores of the largest inland sea, the Bras d'Or lake in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada just 10 minutes from North Sydney. You are in the heart of golf country with 3 courses within 30 minutes of the cottages.
Each cottage has a commanding view and are on the shore of the Bras dâOr Lake and Kellyâs Mountain
We have 2 two bedroom, one with deck and the other with sunroom with daybed and one bachelor cottage that has a queen size bed. There is a private sandy beach on the property for swimming and boating. All have full kitchens and baths. All linen, BBQ, full free fast internet access, playground for children, even firewood for the fire on the beach.
Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway or a romantic vacation.
âView of the Sea Cottages â is located in the middle of Cape Breton island, 10 minutes from North Sydney and provides a beautiful setting to enjoy and explore all the beauty of the island. One and a half drive in any direction you are on another shore of the island.
We also happen to be just a few miles away from Donelda's Bird Watching tour and Bird Island boat tours that visits the Bird Islands - a nature sanctuary. Take a trip up North to the many beaches in the Highlands National Park or enjoy a Whale Watch tour.
The possibilities are endless!Please note that it is our policy to collect a valid credit card (Visa or MasterCard), and retrieve a 50% deposit ahead of time to hold your requested accommodations. We are also required to charge 15% harmonized sales tax.
We are a pet friendly establishment. Pet fees are $25.00 to cover the additional cleaning needs.
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside our cottages according to Canadian law. There is a $150.00 room recovery fee for smoking inside any accommodation.

Mark and Gina Ryan Àr vÀrd
Originally known as Sampson's Cottages, Mark and Gina took over the family business in 2002 and made many updates. We call our business, "View of the Sea Cottages" after the Gaelic name, Sealladh Na Mara. We have loved welcoming visitors from around the world for over 20 years and looking forward to welcoming more for years to come. Our favourite visitors are those of family reunions. We just love seeing families coming together and enjoying themselves in seeing each other an experiencing what we have to offer.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We love the location of the cottages because they are at the mouth of the Bras d'Or Lake with the Atlantic Ocean yet 10 minutes from the town of North Sydney.. Our love of boating, fishing, hunting helped us fall in love for our area.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
Our cottages are located in the middle of Cape breton Island where you can travel an hour and a half in any direction and you will find yourself on an another shore of the island. By being so central, just 10 minutes from North Sydney, everything the island has to offer is available for you when you visit. At the cottages you have all the comforts of home and more: beach, fire pit, playground for children and horseshoes.
