Oakleigh - Stor viktoriansk villa nära stranden med lyxiga kustinredning

Oakleigh är en stor viktoriansk villa i ett lugnt bostadsområde bara 200 meter från stranden och en kort promenad från stadens centrum. Mycket av arkitekturen i närheten är inspirerad av Arts and Craft-rörelsen och designades som en utväg från början. Utanför finns en mycket privat trädgård med plats för uteservering och ett andra förhöjt utrymme för avkoppling på alla väderrottningsmöbler. Inredningen är kusttema kompletterad med lyxig inredning.

Från sidoväggen finns dörrar till loungen, spelrummet, wc och matsal. Matsalen har en brännare och ett bord som sträcker sig till sätet 10 personer. Köket är fullt utrustat med ostronhackar, muslingångare och massor av korkskruvar. En andra trappa leder till tjänarnas rum. På första våningen finns 2 dubbelrum, två enkelrum och ett badrum. Den andra våningen har 2 dubbelrum, badrum och en annan separat toalett.

Som gäst hemma är gästerna välkomna att använda alla faciliteter, inklusive tvätt, grill, spader och drakar till stranden etc.

Utrymme för 2 bilar och gott om gatuparkering på Lincoln Square.

Accommodation & location great

The property was perfect for 6 adults and 4 children who were all 6 and under. All the rooms were well furnished and the kitchen had more than enough facilities - with everything you needed for cooking!Check in worked wellLocation was perfect as we could walk to the beach, park, sea life centre and supermarket (sainsbury). There were also several lovely beaches all within a 30 mins drive with old Hunstanton beach a 15 mins walk .We would definitely recommend this holiday home

Excellent house and great location

The house is excellent, rooms are a generous size. Its a real home from home, everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and the house is in a very quiet residential location. Its close to the town and in easy walking distance for all local amenities.

Fantastic home in a perfect location

Everything absolutely flawless. It’s a beautiful house, recently refurbished. Location is wonderful and our host sent perfect instructions. In fact, it was all so perfect that I didn’t have to contact the host at all. Highly recommended. The incredibly comfortable beds were a real highlight

Christmas

House was lovely and recently decorated. The 2 single bedrooms are only suitable for children and are connected but the other 4 bedrooms are a good size with lovely comfy beds.It is a very short walk into town where there are quite a lot of coffee shops.

Celebration of Golden Wedding Anniversary

Oakleigh was extremely well equipped for self catering, very comfortable sitting room and bedrooms. The property was convenient for the beach and the town centre. We had a BBQ in the garden one evening where we were seated on patio with outdoor settee and chairs.

Brilliant house

This is a great house to stay in. The location is within an easy walk to the shops and seafront. The rooms are all comfortable with plenty of room for a full range of ages with plenty of space to escape if needed. The kitchen is the best equipped that we have seen in all the years we have hired houses. Marion is a great host and easy to communicate with if needed. When we return to Hunstanton this will be our first pick for sure.

Perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at Marion’s house. The property is lovely. Very clean, plenty of space, comfortable, well equipped and any correspondence with Marion was quickly responded to. The house is a few minutes walk from the beach, shops, arcade with the funfair a little further along the promenade. All in all, a beautiful house and a wonderful week.

Great Family Holiday

This property was perfect. We are a family group covering toddlers, teenagers, grand parents and great grandparents! The property was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the facilities are made for big groups. Very convenient for local town, shops, beach and amusements. We would definitely love to return.

A week spent with family in a great house! Equipped with everything needed on a beach holiday. Comfortable sofas & beds, plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children. A separate staircase which the children loved+ their own playroom. A great place to stay and close to a fabulous beach!

Beautiful Oakleigh!

A fabulous property in a great position minutes from both the town and the beach. All the facilities you could need, a real home from home! All the basic consumables and more, perfect! Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Lovely garden with fantastic sofa and chairs in a shady spot under the lilac. Use of beach equipment etc in the shed very handy! Would definitely recommend for larger groups & families!

We live around an hour from Hunstanton and enjoy being able to spend days walking and socialising in our home from home. We travel extensively and have rented properties around Europe through Vrbo so understand what is needed from a home rental.

Oakleigh is our family holiday home primarily and we have enjoyed exploring the North Norfolk coast since 2009. We love the architecture and the access we have to the beach and resort facilities, as well as the wonderful beaches, villages, pubs and restaurants along the rest of the coastal area.

Oakleigh is in a quiet residential area and yet we have sea views from the top floor and the space to entertain in a very relaxing and informal environment. Along with the beach and great walks only a short distance away.
