Wunderschönes Anwesen, sehr hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer. Aufgrund des Alters der Villa im Inneren sehr dunkel, aber man kann sich auf der Dachterrasse und am Pool aufhalten. Gherardo gab uns unaufdringlich sehr wertvolle Tipps zu den AusflĂŒgen in der Umgebung.

Prachtige locatie op een groot landgoed met verschillende individuele verblijven. Zwembad is niet groot, maar groot genoeg voor een plons. Fijn groot dakterras. Eigen parkeerplek bij het huis. Ontbijt niet heel uitgebreid maar prima en netjes verzorgd. Heel vriendelijke host en personeel die heel servicegericht zijn. Geen keukenfaciliteiten en klein koelkastje, maar als je dat weet, is het prima. Prachtig uitzicht in een rustige omgeving.

Ons gezin heeft een hele mooie tijd gehad in de B&B. Dankzij de tips van gastheer Gherardo hebben wij pareltjes van restaurants en locaties kunnen ontdekken. Van vleesdelicatessen om te eten tot historische plekken als een colloseum te Capua waar we slechts met twee gezinnen rondliepen maar dat bijna even groot was als het colloseum in Rome. Het ontbijt in de B&B was lekker en verzorgd. De mooie locatie aan de via Cappuccini, de mooie kamers met airco, nette badkamer en gezellig zwembad wisten ons zeker te bekoren. Een week was te kort om de buurt helemaal te kunnen ontdekken dus we willen zeker ooit nog eens terug.

Excellent sĂ©jour dans une magnifique propriĂ©tĂ©. Notre hĂŽte Gherardo Ă©tait aux petits soins. La rĂ©gion est superbe mĂȘme Ă  NoĂ«l et la famille a profitĂ© des nombreuses visites et activitĂ©s. Un grand Merci.

Schöne, ruhige, außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Gherardo sehr genossen und bedauert, dass wir nur 3 NĂ€chte gebucht haben. Die Unterkunft liegt auf einem riesigem GelĂ€nde umgeben von Oliven, Walnuss und OrangenbĂ€umen und dennoch nur 5 Min zu Fuss nach Nola und 25 Min nach Neapel Zentrum. Es war so ruhig, dass man sogar mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnte. Gherardo hat uns gut betreut und sogar von seinem leckeren sizilianischen Wein gegeben. Von Nola ist an schnell in Pompeji, Neapel, Caserta und fĂ€hrt am besten nach Sorento um mit dem Boot die Amalfi KĂŒste zu erkunden. Falls es uns mal wieder nach Neapel verschlĂ€gt wĂŒrden wir jederzeit wiederkommen.

Amazing Stay!

Our group consisted of 13 people. 8 adults and 5 children with age range of 7-17. We were greeted immediately upon arrival with a warm welcome from Gherardo and his wife. We booked all 6 units and had the villa to ourselves. The property has an amazing history and absolutely stunning views. All restaurants we found to be within walking distance. We did not rent a car, but found the Glovo app to be helpful with delivering small amounts of groceries when needed.

Wonderful property

The facility itself was wonderful! Only down side was difficulty with access to public transport , taxis not easily accessible , far from Pompeii and quite a long walk to train .

Peaceful and comfortable

Spent a tranquil 4 nights. Beds were comfy and everything was clean. Parking was nice and the location kept us away from the congestion of Naples and even Nola. Pool was little but clean and nice and the setting was so beautiful. Gherardo was helpful in logistics and very pleasant. Excellent stay.

Sweet owners, nice location

We had a wonderful time. The villa, the host, and staff were amazing. They were so accommodating and helpful. Gherado guided us to some amazing dinning and let the restaurant know we were coming. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa.

Heerlijk vriendinnenweekend gehad bij Gherardo en zijn vrouw! Prachtige villa afgehuurd, super mooie suites van alle gemakken voorzien en brandschoon! Warm welkom en heerlijk 3-gangendiner gehad, volop tips voor verkennen van de omgeving en weer heerlijk “thuiskomen” met zwembad en zonnendek. Nogmaals bedankt voor het fijne verblijf en we koken nog eens terug met onze families!

Family Trip

Gherardo is the most gracious host you will meet. The B&B is located on a historical property that has been in his family for centuries. It consists of 17 hectares with fruit and nut trees. While we were there, it was walnut harvest time. Gherardo works the fields with a crew and runs the B&B with help from a very small staff. They are all as nice as can be. The surrounding area of Nola is a bit sketchy, but we felt safe and secure in the B&B complex. We ventured out on trips to Ischia and Naples. Each suite is tastefully decorated and inviting--more like an apartment. It was truly lovely.

Nice stay in Perfect Location

We liked our stay on this beautiful property a lot. Perfect Location for all kind of daytrips. We would have needed more time here but it was a nice last Apartment on our round trip around italy. Gherado was really helpful and gave lovely tips.

Amazing storybook setting!

Family of 5 adults just stayed at this beautiful B&B from Canada. The grounds and buildings are like something out of a wonderful storybook. The hosts, just as lovely and gracious. Kind enough to give us a tour of the grounds and give suggestions on things to see in the area. The two restaurants we ate at from the ones listed in the booklet in our rooms did not disappoint. Absolutely would highly recommend anyone giving thought to staying at this spot, don't give it a miss!!! It is well worth the stay!! We absolutely loved our stay and will be a treasured memory of our family vacation. Thank you so much.

La piscine dispose d’un solarium avec des chaises longues. Les chambres sont bien Ă©quipĂ©es et dĂ©corĂ©es. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est assez basique mais correct. La propriĂ©taire est trĂšs sympathique et rĂ©pondra Ă  la moindre de vos questions. Seul point nĂ©gatif, la prĂ©sence d’un hĂŽtel plus bas dans la rue qui se transforme chaque soir en Ă©tĂ© en boĂźte de nuit avec tout le bruit qui va avec

Our recent stay at this Villa was a serene escape to an Italian countryside paradise. Nestled amidst the enchanting landscape, this property offered us a timeless retreat. Surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, the natural beauty of this place was immediately soothing. The villa itself exuded classic Italian charm, with its rustic elegance and historical character. The beauty of Castelcicala is simply unparalleled. The flora is astounding and the accommodations are perfection. We were so thankful for host Gherardo's (et al) generous hospitality and his willingness to share his vast breadth of knowledge regarding the villa and its history, and the region itself. The areas many attractions are easily accessible from the Nola location...paradise found!

Charme a l'italienne

Excellent séjour dans cette demeure historique au charme discret et raffiné. Bien qu'un peu à l'écart, Nola est aussi à l'écart de l'agitation napolitaine et finalement bien placée par rapport à la cÎte amalfitaine, Pompéï, ou Caserte. Je vous recommande le lieu !

beautiful historical villa

A group of friends booked four of the six suites. Each was spacious and comfortable. The main villa is a truly lovely historical building set in marvelous grounds, wonderful views of surrounding hills. Welcoming host Gherardo assisted with advice, restaurant reservations, excellent breakfasts, information about the history of the area.
