Great Location

Great place to stay in Portree. Close proximity to the co-op and the square. House is comfortable, clean and had plenty of room for the five of us. Extra bonus included a washer and dryer

Wonderful two story house just outside downtown Portree.My wife, myself, and our two adult children very much enjoyed staying in this 3BR 2 1/2 BA home. Comfortable and well appointed it was everything we could have hoped for. There was parking onsite and while we didn't really cook much we very much appreciated the vented W/D as our stay in Portree was between hotel stays elsewhere. It was about a 10 minute walk into town which was good as parking in Portree can be difficult.In summary, we would certainly recommend staying here.

Convenient to Portree and groceries which was great. We also really appreciated having a clothes dryer so we could do laundry and not worry about putting items out on the line with the rain/mist.

Great place to stay in Portree

Spent 3 nights here last week & it was a perfect choice. We were so comfortable & house warmed up quickly when we needed it. So well equipped with ample utensils & supplies. Would definitely recommend & hope to visit again in the not too distant future Joanne

Fine but needs some tlc

The house is absolutely fine but not more. Fixtures for curtain cords are falling off the wall, some of the heaters are rusting, the silicone on the bathtub is coming off, the garden wasn’t tidy, lights didn’t work (would not go on/off), I couldn’t get the cupboard in my room open, the curtains don’t block out the light, a mirror in the bathroom was chipped/rusty
 but the local rental was extremely friendly. And the house is in a great location within walking distance from Portree town centre.

House was great, location was great - right next to a play park for my daughter, near a Co-op for supplies and 15 mins from Portree centre.Only knock off 1 star because the heating was either fully off (when we arrived) or fully on (after they came to fix it) - the timer/heating controls didn't seem to work at all. But they were very reactive and tried to sort as best they can, so thanks for that! I'm sure it'll be fixed for the next guests! Overall, I would fully recommend this as a place to stay in Skye. :)

Fab Isle of Skye stay!

Great place! Ample space for our crew, the afternoon sun through the patio doors was so wonderful--beautiful patio outside, we love the flowers! Thoroughly enjoyable stay, and plenty of provisions such as soaps and toilet paper!

Incredible Stay!

Convenient location!

This house was clean and comfortable. Our group of 5 family members had a nice stay here. The Co-Op was just around the corner to buy food. The kitchen was nice to make our own meals. The washer in the kitchen and dryer in the garage make it nice to wash our clothes mid way through our Scotland tour.

Great accommodations and perfect location

If you are looking for a lovely home to stay at when you are visiting Skye/Portree area this home is the place for you. Large kitchen and sitting area are very inviting. We appreciated how quick the response was from the management company with any questions we had. Location is perfect, the home is only a 10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops in Portree. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for couples/friends or small family. Ideally located in walking distance to downtown Portree with grocery shopping just around the corners The house could need some touchup in the near future but other than that we really liked our stay here. It’s a perfect base camp location for exploring all of Skye in a couple of days

Ideal for families or couples

Ideally located to walk to downtown Portree this house offers everything you need to stay a couple of nights on Skye. Grocery shopping is just around the corner. Facilities are in okay condition, some details would need a bit of fixing. Other than that we can totally recommend!

Everything we needed

Cute house in a centrally located neighborhood, within walking distance to groceries and downtown Portree. House was well stocked with kitchen essentials and was comfortable for our family. One bedroom could stand a new mattress as our kids could feel some springs. Also some blackout curtains would be great in the Spring/Summer months as it is light most of the day and night. But other than it was cute and nice and we’d recommend it to others.

Lovely spot in Portree

This property was perfect for two couples. It had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. It was lovely to have a little back garden. The walk into town was easy. The host was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Skye Vacation

Home is lovely with a nice backyard in a quiet neighborhood with play area across the street. We could easily walk to grocery store and downtown Portree. There were some issues with maintenance while we were there, but that couldn’t be helped.

Lovely stay in a cosy house for 6 people

Our group of 2 couples and 2 friends stayed 3 nights at this house. You will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The interior walls are poorly soundproofed so that you can hear everything between the rooms. The location is a 10-15 minutes walk from the center of Portree. Would recommend this house for groups or families.

Pleasant stay for a group of friends

Our group of 2 couples and 2 friends enjoyed a 3-nights stay at this cottage which is a 10-15 minutes walk outside of Portree. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Would recommend this house for a group of friends or families.
