Vacker, rustik ett sovrum stuga som ligger i hektar med skog pÄ en livlig tidvatten salt damm. Tio minuter frÄn kulturella Blue Hill med sina erbjudanden av musik, teater, matsal, brygga pub och konstgallerier. NÀra Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park och Deer Isle. Njut av kajakpaddling och simning. VÀnligen underteckna ansvarsfriheten om du anvÀnder vÄra kajaker. Vi har en simning docka med en stege som har en ramp frÄn stranden. Vattnet var pÄ 70-talet i sommar. SolnedgÄngar, rikligt fÄgelliv och svalt havsbris kan uppskattas frÄn dÀck, utomhusdusch, eldstaden eller hÀngmatta. Det Àr tyst och fridfullt!

Piney hill had everything we needed for our stay- above and beyond. We loved the dock and the view and the outdoor shower. The bed was comfortable and everything was just perfect for our 20th anniversary trip.

Great stay at the Piney Home

My wife and I loved our week at the Piney Home. Cabin is cozy and has everything a few people need. The view of the salt pond absolutely amazing.

Overall, the property was nice but we would not stay again. The pictures of the outside and the salt pond do not do it justice. It is more beautiful in person! However, we found the cabin to be a bit more than rustic, and somewhat dirty. There were tons of spider webs and spiders, rat poop under the sink and everything just had a bit of a smell. This is a cabin in Maine so I understand some of these things happen, and I feel like the pictures mostly were accurate so I can't completely blame the owner. The biggest issues for us though were the bed, which was extremely creaky and how small the indoor shower was. My husband could not even fit. If you go into this thinking very rustic, oldish cabin, and plan to spend most of your time outside, I think it would be worth the stay due to the price.

Cozy and Relaxing

We simply loved our fall getaway at Piney Home. The cabin is small but sufficient for two and very well equipped for guests. Conveniently located to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Lots of hiking trails in the area. Ended several nights sitting around a campfire taking in the sunset over the water.

20 Year Anniversary Trip

Our stay at the Piney Home was exactly what was needed. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the location was perfect for us, secluded in the woods with a beautiful view of Salt pond. It was so nice to get unplugged in peace and quiet for several days.

Perfect getaway

This cabin was definitely the highlight on our trip thru the NE. It‘s secluded in the woods directly on the shore which provides amazing sunsets. The cabin itself is so warm and comfortable with all the necessities you need. It’s just the perfect getaway!

A Wonderful Trip to Maine

Quintessential Maine cabin! Cute, rustic and secluded.

We loved paddle boarding and kayaking on the Salt Pond, quick swims and venturing out for day hikes and then awesome dinners in Blue Hill. The Co-op has great fresh greens and vegetables and can you ever get enough lobster? This is the perfect rustic and romantic getaway!
